Brands include name-brands and Target brand. Prices are low to moderate. Most recently I shopped here on a busy Saturday. I browsed merchandise throughout the store and thought that the shelves and racks were well stocked. I ended up deciding to purchase only air fresheners for my vehicle. The cash registers and the self-checkout had long lines, but the machine rang up my purchase correctly. Furthermore, I used the women's restroom here, and it was fairly clean. read more

Got kicked out for no reason and they told me I got kicked out because I walked in with people I did not know that were already tress passed. All of the workers kick people out for no reason and they don't give good reasons. Also to the undercover worker said I had to leave for a reasons and when I asked what they think I should be kicked out for and they said get out. The upside to the pandemic is how companies have responded with curbside pickup, improved pickup processes, and greatly improved smart phone apps. Target's app is easy to use. After ordering, the default is pickup in the store. Once the item is ready, you can select curbside pickup. You click that you are on the way, and then describe your vehicle. The pick up lanes are one way. They are not parking spaces. They are one way drive thru LANES. Haha I noticed that some customers were not catching on to that. Once pulled in, you get a notification with a code to show the employee. That's nice because some places want you to show ID with a picture, like a drivers license. Right away my item (a counter top appliance) was brought out to me. The only downside was that the box was damaged. Nothing damaged inside. But if I went in the store I would have selected a different box. All in all, a very easy and pleasant experience. read more

I was in target walking around doing nothing, then out of no where, a worker comes and grabs me by the shoulder and kicks me out for no reason! The assets protection accused me of throwing a basketball, walking in with people that already were trespassed, and hitting people! These workers need to stop falsely accusing the wrong people of doing stuff. Also, the workers need to actually check CCTV instead of saying that they saw it on the cameras. Not only was I helping the worker find the kids that were messing around, I spotted them and help catch them! Then, one of the Asset Protection workers said, "Thank you" and then said that I wasn't free to go. When I was leaving, the Asset Protection guy was yelling at me to leave when I was getting inside of the car! Also, workers shouldn't always think that kids, like me, are always messing around and causing trouble in the Target. If one of the workers or managers are reading this, please take action and train these workers correctly. This target suck and the workers need to be rehired, fired, and TRAINED correctly! read more

I ordered some toys for my granddaughter for Christmas. I opted delivery because I knew I wouldn't be near the store. I got home today and saw the Target box on the porch. When I got near the box, it was open. It had never been sealed properly!! I am HIGHLY displeased because I live in an apartment building. This Target located in the south hills village mall has to be my favorite! It's clean, huge and well stocked. The clerks are friendly and always willing to help. I have been here twice and I know this is my go to Target from now on, and I live across the street from the Target in the Waterfront. Don't get me wrong Waterfront Target is nice also and very convenient, But this one here in the south hills is my favorite !! Highly recommend and I WILL RETURN!! I love everything about this Target. It is best that if you do come to this Target that you come with the intention to just shop in this Target and go home. Or if you do plan on doing some mall shopping do that before you head in here. I do not advise shopping in here and then having to carry your items throughout the mall. Cat food is not a fun item to carry everywhere you go in a mall, just a little FYI. I found that this Target was well taken care of. Very clean and everything had a place. Well stocked that meant that there was plenty of items to choose from. Customer service was good as well. Circle back to the mall aspect. If you do plan on shopping here and then heading to the mall, give yourself a little extra time. The line for the registers that lead to the mall gets backed up frequently. They are all self checkouts which explains the backups. There is an associate there for assistance, but all they really do is stand there and make sure you're not stealing. read more

This is my resident Target store. I like this one because it has a variety of grocery items. So I can push aside the strong hate I have for grocery shopping and bribe myself with a trip down the clothing section. It can get crazy on the weekends, so I really do my best to avoid those if I can. The checkout lines just get out of control. Happy to have this Target attached to the mall though, so you can have the extra special bonus of shopping and then more shopping conveniently flowing right into each other. read more

This is a pretty standard Target. It's large, and has groceries on one side, but it's not quite a full-blown grocery store. The selection is generally pretty good, few stock-outs, and the people working here are pretty nice. There's a Starbucks at the front, which is nice. The hot-foods (pizzas, popcorn, etc.) is sometimes unstaffed, or the associate goes into the back-room too often, leaving me to say, "hello, anybody home?" I had one little problem one time (slipped on blueberries another shopped dropped - amazing how slick blueberries can be!), had a nice little fall, and the store manager was super nice about it - no injuries, no problems, but I appreciated her response. read more

This store has been going downhill for years but I have still shopped there due to the convenience factor. Finally, have had enough. The store is understaffed, often with only one or two registers open. Nearly every time I go in there I can hear employees preparing pick up orders loudly complaining and gossiping. The store is always understocked. The final insult is the packs of teenagers running through the store, throwing items, yelling and cursing and generally being a nuisance. The store employees used to tell these teens to leave, now nobody seems to care about customer shopping experience at all. Its really not enjoyable to shop there at all anymore. Management seems to be severely lacking and I will not be going back. read more

Finally, FINALLY - there's a Target within a reasonable driving distance from those of us in the South Hills. Hallelujah! Let me get the negative out of the way first: I am not a huge fan of the clothes at Target. Periodically I find something that fits just fine, but a lot of items just don't work that well on me comfort or fit wise. Also, even if items do pass both tests...the stuff is cheap for a reason: it will not last long. Friends and I alike have fallen victim to the curse of Target clothing repeatedly in the past (i.e. it's so preeeeetty, oh CRAP it's ruined within a month or two). That said, Target is at least a good emergency shopping stop if you need replacement clothes in a hurry - which happens to all of us at least one at some point. But Target redeems itself and more once you get past the front few aisles of clothes. The accessories I've bought here seem to hang in there and are exceptionally cute; shoes here are fairly reasonable as well. Plus, there is SO much more to look for here than clothes, and Target as a shopping area is still absolutely wonderful. I will always prefer Target to Wal*Mart - Target's are just better maintained! They're better organized and fun to walk around in, too, and this one is no exception. I have found great jewelry boxes, cheap lamps for work, cute pillows, affordable DVDs, basic desk supplies - heck, my friends and I have raided the toy aisles just for kicks, and it's always fun because of the variety here. That's just naming a few things off the top of my head. Best of all, Target is now my supplemental food shopping site. Seriously: there are great snacks and frozen meals here that I haven't found at Giant Eagle. I couldn't believe it when I found that out. How awesome! I have never had any issues with Target until I started shopping here. Anytime I buy items where you receive a gift card, there is an issue. I've had to call customer service twice on the last 2 weeks. The first issue was that a cheap item had a deal that if you purchased 3, you would receive a $5 gift card. Well apparently the store decided to limit me, because it was too good of a deal. Instead of just saying that, they made up excuses that I grabbed the wrong product, it was priced wrong, and that all of a sudden there was a "limit". None of which were true, I grabbed one of the tags to bring to the register. The following week they had a promotion, but 3 bags of dog treats, get an $8 gift card. When I went to pick up my order, the woman at guest services said they would send my gift card by email? I was exhausted after a 12hr overnight shift, so I said ok and waited for my email. I never got one. I had to call customer service, they said they had no idea what promotion I was talking about, and told me to call the store. I called the store and was bounced around 3 different departments and the phone rang for a solid minute before anyone picked up! I spoke to someone who said they would fix it if I came back to the store with my receipt. So now, after another 12hr shift I have to go back to the store, I'm sure I'll have another "issue" while I'm there. This will be the last time I shop at that location. I do not often shop Target because most of their merchandise is of inferior quality. This one located in South Hills Village has a grocery store and Starbucks in addition to their merchandise. They sell clothing, household goods, bedding, sporting goods, toys,electronics, pretty much anything you can think of. Every aisle is clearly labeled to help guide you. They recently changed things around in preparation for back to school students especially college students. It is a great place to get bargain prices for things you know you don't need for a long time. Their red card gives you a 5% discount if you use it upon checkout. They have now installed automatic checkouts which I didn't bother with but they also have the traditional scan checkouts like you would find at a grocery store. There are also people who run the registers. There's also an option where you can buy online and pickup in store. I did this as I needed a bed rest. That is a seasonal item and I didn't want to spent a lot for it. Once the order is placed you get a confirmation email and then you have 48 hours to go pick it up. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They have a special pickup area which is next to customer service. I picked up my bed rest and was pleased with my purchase. They have their own private entrance or you can exit into the first floor of the mall. They accept returns with receipts or bar codes if you bought on line and picked up in store. They also price match if you find it lower on their website. read more

This is inside the mall, but they also have their own outside entrance that is well lit, walkways are big. Starbucks inside target is probably the best Starbucks inside a target I've been to. I've always had a love hate relationship with target. Ive always been more of a Walmart person with the big industry with heavy competition. The staff are friendly at this location and did help me locate a item in the store. The store was organized and maintained and check out was fast. I've just always been strange with target cause i don't like there deals and there products just seem way to over priced for what they offer and what else is on the market. This location has a hot food area that has pizza hot to offer and a Starbucks that never has a line as well. I'll most likely return but I don't think my mind will ever be set on target. read more

Ehhh, it's Wal-Mart's classier cousin, the one that married the financial planner instead of the truck driver. Her house is always spotless, and her hair is always done. Her kids are busy with after-school activities. She drinks a glass of wine at 9:30 every morning. She reads a romance novel, drops a valium, and crashes until 2. Having commented or lampooned society through my words, Target is plenty of space with little going on. With grocery and department store items for sale, it somehow manages to be even blander than Wal-Mart. In fact, I'm actually surprised a Target was built out here. It seems redundant. While I do fancy "Target", and this stores location is somewhat convenient for me, I can not say that this is my favorite. I come here maybe two times a month. I would love to come here more, however, here are my negatives: One, the parking is horrible! The store can be practically empty, but there is absolutely no parking! People just "park at target" that are shopping in the mall. Just a personal opinion. Two, the only employees they have are working at the registers, so if you need help in bedding or in "aisle 9" good luck. Three, the set up for this store, like many I've been to lately, is very disorganized. I think corporate does that on purpose to make the customer look at other items along their one item journey. Not cool corporate! Not. Cool. Four, now that it's winter and the young adults don't have any where else to irritate people, they are here. And there are no employees to tell them to leave, because they are all working the registers, because their checkout process is slower then molasses, because management doesn't know how to train, because they are teenagers too! Conveniently attached to the South Hills Village Mall, this Target location offers customers a one-stop shop type of environment for most of your household needs. The store keeps its shelves well-stocked; however, if you're not able to locate something the friendly staff are happy to help you find what you're looking for. Also, make sure to pay attention to the sale signs that prompt you to text a number for a coupon, you can often find some good deals that way. One recommendation, I suggest improving the checkout aisles (i.e. staffing more clerks at checkout or calling for more from inside the store as lines begin to grow). There are frequently long lines that form and move rather slow. Admittedly, a few times I've decided to put my basket of items back on the shelves and go elsewhere - that's how long the lines can be. On another note, I've noticed that patrons of this location frequently leave their empty beverage cups on the shelves throughout the store. Did you know that there are trash cans located near the help kiosks throughout the store? Try to use those, and don't be disrespectful. read more

Target is more expensive in the clothing and shoes departments than I remember it being in years past but you can find good deals on clearance if you look. Not satisfied. Visited this location on 12-14-19. I asked an employee in the store if they carried any DJI drone products. She said is it possible you can ask someone at the technology counter. Both workers at the counter said they did not no if they sold them. They then proceeded to tell a customer that she couldn't check out locked up video games at the counter. Very poor customer service and very hard to find any sales associates on the floor, that have a general idea of what they sell and done sell. read more

I was going through my receipts at the end of the month and realized that I had been charged for EIGHT packs of 12 rolls of bounty paper towels, instead of one. 7 * 15.19 = 106.33 So I was overcharged by $106.33 plus tax. It had seemed really high at the time, but I was in a hurry and thought that it must be because I had stocked up on paper products. I didn't realize until a couple of weeks later that I had been overcharged by over a hundred dollars. read more

Much needed and long awaited addition to South Hills village. I love Target for many reasons but currently am thrilled at the new arrival for the ability to purchased green and natural cleaners for my home. Over the past two years Giant Eagle has stopped supplying almost all natural cleaning supplies. There are very few Seventh Generation or Method options anymore. Although Trader Joes does offer natural options, I find that the basic Trader Joe's brand doesn't compare to the quality of the big name brands like Seventh Gen for cleaning supplies (love the Trader Joe paper products though). Now that Target has landed at South Hills Village, I no longer have to make the trek to Robinson for cleaning supplies. Couple notes: this store is LARGE with a great food section. There is a Pizza Hut and Starbucks inside. Parking is not great but there are more spaces by the Bonefish Grill. read more

Target advertised a sale on Dasani water, so we make a special trip to Target to stock up. Not only is there no Dasani water, the empty space on the shelf where the Dasani was could only hold 10 cases at most. Other stores get in a pallet or two of water when they run a sale. After asking 'where is the water on sale' I was told to see the manager. The manager said 'it is Coca Cola's fault'. What ... who ran the ad I asked. I explained we made a special trip just for this, and she just shrugged with that 'tough luck' attitude. No rain check, no nothing. I then told her it seems like 'bait and switch' to me. No further comment from the manager seemed to suggest she either agreed with my assessment, or she just didn't care. read more
