I went there Saturday in hopes of finding help for a migraine and neck pain from a car accident. I left completely in shambles and worst off than when I walked in. Rice insisted that because I already have a doctor that I should wait to go see her being that she's the one already treating me for the accident. My doctor is closed on the weekends. It's a Spine Physician. He literally walked in WITHOUT checking me, just leaned on the sink the whole time. I tell him how I'm in excruciating pain and first thing he does is asks me what I do for a living. Puzzling, but I told him I'm a truck driver. He then basically threatens my job and tells me that because of my injuries that if I take any pain medication I could be at risk of losing my D.O.T. Certification and if he were my doctor he wouldn't give it to me. (DRIVERS AVOID) After explaining to him that I haven't been given any pain medicine other than Tylenol and LidoPro(cream) for my neck in the last 2 months, and that my job is aware of my accident. He then suggested that if I'm in "so much pain" that I should go to the emergency room and that he won't be writing me any prescriptions for pain. Immediately after he says "I'm not saying you're fishing for drugs, but I'm not going to give them to you". Again, never asked for any pain medicine. At this point, I've done nothing to indicate that I wanted ANY pain medication. Only that I did not want to miss work to see a doctor, which is why I went on a Saturday, and that so far nothing has really been helping my migraine. He suggested seeing a Neurologist, which my lawyer and my doctor both have reached out with referrals to get me seen. You may or may not know that it takes awhile to see a Neurologist, so I explained that to him. However, he implies that it's MY fault that I haven't seen one yet and that I should be calling everyday to be seen. I always heard younger doctors were the worse but he really proved it that day. No compassion AT ALL! Stormed out of the room when I started expressing my displeasure with how he's treating me. If I knew the proper channels I would seriously take legal action against this place because he turned my physical pain, to mental and physical. I've been hurting since seeing him. Shame on you. I went to get treated not interrogated. Id rather suffer than to ever go here again. HE specifically needs reprimanding of some sort. Absolutely unacceptable..

They test later than the one in Grovetown and we were happy to hear that. They allowed me to wait in the car with my daughter and called us for the test and then again when the room was ready. The doctor was patient and didn't rush examining my daughter. Only reason for not 5 stars is because they took her temp under her armpit and claimed she had no fever and was reading normal. I got her home and my wife checked and it was 99.5 so while not 101, it's still elevated. If anything, I'd come back here again.

They need to have a specialized voicemail indicating they're closed (they have a generic one that doesn't indicate if they are closed at the moment or just busy/not answering) so I did call and didn't talk to a person, and Google said they were open, so they also need to update Google hours for holidays. I'm not sure I'll ever make that drive again when there are closer options for me that had better communication about their holiday hours. I'm sure MedNow offers good care but I unfortunately didn't get to experience it and it was such an annoying situation I don't plan to try them again.

It is clear to me that patient health is not their main focus, as it should be. Multiple voicemails have been left by me and still no response. I have explained this to everyone I talk to and their response is demeaning, rude, and short. They then forward me to the "voicemail" again without letting me respond to their statement before they essentially just hang up on me. I would highly recommend going to ANY other facility for ANY healthcare concerns.

My brother and I were born here and my sister took her last breath here. So this hospital is near…read moreand dear to my heart. Its name was St. Joseph's then but nothing has really changed about this hospital but the name!!! I was recently here for a small day surgery procedure with my mother, and this place has kept up its appearance well. It's not run down or anything and that's really good!!! The personnel was very accommodating and friendly. They use to have a really good snack bar here, I'm not sure if they still have it or actually moved it somewhere else in the hospital. Every time I came here to visit someone I couldn't wait to get something from that snack bar. There is a chapel in the front as well since this is a private Roman Catholic hospital. At one time there were nuns on staff here as well. I'm not sure if they are still employed there because I didn't see any on my recent visit. This is a great hospital to get a real peace of mind and excellent care.

I have been a patient for CPC for over 20 years, contacted the North Augusta CPC to change doctors…read moredue to living in North Augusta, was told I could not change, when I inquired why, I was informed that is up to the doctors, they do not take transfer patients, only new patients, I stated I am a new patient from a different office, was told very rudely sorry that is up to the doctor. I Will be finding another doctor, leaving CPC after 20 years! The doctors that I have seen for the last 6 years doesn't seem to want to take time to talk with your or care really about whats going on with your health anyways, they just open their computers type some answers in and leave the room.
