My daughter is back in school and spiked a fever on Friday. My pregnant wife panicked and so I took my kiddo here to get tested for covid. Negative, thank goodness. They test later than the one in Grovetown and we were happy to hear that. They allowed me to wait in the car with my daughter and called us for the test and then again when the room was ready. The doctor was patient and didn't rush examining my daughter. Only reason for not 5 stars is because they took her temp under her armpit and claimed she had no fever and was reading normal. I got her home and my wife checked and it was 99.5 so while not 101, it's still elevated. If anything, I'd come back here again. read more

This is only a partial review but I came down with strep over Easter weekend with the worst of it hitting me Easter Sunday mornings. Many friends recommended MedNow so I drove out of my way to go there just for them to be closed because of the holiday. They need to have a specialized voicemail indicating they're closed (they have a generic one that doesn't indicate if they are closed at the moment or just busy/not answering) so I did call and didn't talk to a person, and Google said they were open, so they also need to update Google hours for holidays. I'm not sure I'll ever make that drive again when there are closer options for me that had better communication about their holiday hours. I'm sure MedNow offers good care but I unfortunately didn't get to experience it and it was such an annoying situation I don't plan to try them again. read more

The care I received from the Nurse Practicer and the nurse was top notched. The care I received from the front desk left me not wanting to go back. I specifically asked for my prescriptions to be called into Walmart in Edgefield Rd but they saw Walmart Steiner Way and just sent it to that one, called back and for them to switch it to the one I requested they said they did and then the next day I receive notification that it was filled at Stiener way so I have to call again. They did finally change it but one of the prescriptions was left off so I called back this morning, and she doesn't' want to listen to my issue and says that all four were called in and I said they were but to the incorrect walmart. I explain it to her from the beginning, and she says all four were called in on 5/20 and nothing on 5/21. I then try to explain, and she kept cutting me off. I asked for a manager and was told that she was off due to the holiday and there was not anyone there that was in charge. read more

The Services you require are not what they treat you for. But they definitely charge you for. All the way from the director Andre Miller, to Destiny Biggs and Nikki. Even went as high up to the owner but he didn't even bother to respond. I called to confirm they could treat my symptoms and was assured they could. The provider however said no they couldn't, mind you after taking my 50$ copay and billing my insurance. I LITERALLY received no exam,treatment or care. Yet they padded the billing stating they treated me for high blood pressure which is definitely not true. My blood pressure runs higher than normal so when he tried to bring that up i said i already am being treated for that ,walked out asked for my copay back and they said No because i received treatment. Mind you they are still going to charge the insurance company which is fraud. Along with the fact that i was given false information over the phone just to come in and have these people literally steal my money. I realize this review womt matter much but if you're living on limited means think twice before being seen here. Went in for recurring stiff neck and overall feeling bad for 2 weeks which had me concerned about meningitis. From the time I went in until I got out after seeing their PA... it was about 20 mins. And my PA and his technician were great! They listened to me, checked me out thoroughly, talked to me and then prescribed me meds that made me feel so much better!! I had a disappointing experience at this urgent care center. Instead of evaluating my symptoms and telling me which tests were needed, they asked me what test I wanted, which didn't feel professional or reassuring. I was also told that they accepted my insurance (Tricare), but months after my visit I received a bill that I'm now expected to pay. If they did not take my insurance, that should have been made clear at the time of service. Overall, the lack of guidance and billing issues were very frustrating. read more

We had a very nice experience with everyone in the office. The front ladies were great. They got us checked in quickly and answered all our questions. The forms we filled out were easy and fast. The waiting room was nice and clean. We went back and got taken care of quickly. The staff that helped us was amazing. She was able to get the ear wax out for my son. She's extremely good at it. She was very gentle, patient and kind. We are so glad we came here and will come again. The doctor was awesome and kind as well. Came in Monday for back pain , Dr. Terr was so polite and listened to me . Unfortunately, I had to come back Wednesday since medications did not help ,I saw Dr.Davis he was quick and straight to the point which I really liked! Came here to get a COVID-Test. This location does offer RAPID TESTING and they promote the care clinic with "come get tested here before you return to work or leave to spend time with your family". As a graduate student myself, I wanted to make sure I'm cleared to return home for the holidays. For COVID-Testing, you don't need an appointment. As long as you walk in from 8am-5:30pm, they will swab your nasils and review your results in about 10-20 minutes. Shoutout to the Physician Assistant Emma and the staff for making my check-in, swabbing, vitals check, and waiting in general a smooth process. I came around 11:30am and left around 1:00pm. It was a long wait but that was cause it was A LOT of people and they do mention that the most sick and priority is based on severity of the case will be seen first. Amazing place and I will come here to do my COVID testing since they accept most insurances. Good staff and they do their best to have a clean care facility and comply to safety guidelines. Major downside to this place is the parking space. It is very limited. read more

Waiting takes a long time whether they are busy or not, and not just as walk-in but with a chosen time slot you picked online for an appointment, waited over an hour past my appointment, with people going ahead of me that got there way after. It's not the end of the world but just unorganized. My main concern lies where I'm not being listened to by the doctor or the assistant when i tell them I have UTI symptoms but have been tested 2 times previously with negative results but symptoms persist and they tell me I am clean but give me antibiotics just to be safe, DESPITE me telling them I was already given antibiotics previously, the same exact antibiotics they prescribed and it had no effect on me. Then when im repeating myself following up with them on the phone they just tell me to follow up with my primary care provider about the issue. What a waste of time and money. read more

I have been here a couple of times and I always have to wait a ridiculous long time no matter how busy/crowded they are. Even scheduling an appointment online does not reduce your wait time by that much. Very very unprofessional, wasn't wearing any masks I came here because I have been throwing up all day. I had to fill out paperwork which is out that usual before handing me my paper work doesn't wipe the clipboard down she is giving me from the patient before but throws their pin in a dirty pin bin? Were is the logic in that than after I fill my paper work she has me sign a receipt with her pin she has been using personally than continues to use it after saying I hope you feel better!? I work for a dental office so I know the standards we have to go by as a medical office and I can honestly say they are not up holding these standards and or safety regulations. I recently visited the rapid Covid testing site on Washington road and was so disappointed to see the medical staff not wear masks or appropriately and consistently wear them, especially since they are a testing center for Covid-19. It was unbelievable to me that there was so little concern for the health of the community, as well as a complete disregard for the example they are setting as health care workers. I felt endangered in my experience as my test clinician also had her mask below her mouth during my test. There was nowhere on their website to report my experience and disappointment to the organization directly, which was also a frustrating reality with this company. read more

I used the Washington Rd location when all three of my kids were sick back in March. They would only test one of them for Flu. When that child tested positive they would not test the others or provide medicine for preventive measure. I was told by the doctor that night that if I had to come back I would not be charged for the office visit. So, of corse I was back the very next day and guess what? A second child with the flu!! Fast forward 3 months and I get a letter stating they are about to turn me over for collections! Turns out they did charge me for the office visit and the doctors do not have the authority to say you won't be charged. I explained everything to the office manager but she would not help. Mednow is doesn't care about you as a person, they only care about getting your money. Was over billed twice, but my account and my daughter's. Co-pays was incorrect after after paying my co-pay. They charged $20 more and I had to have them fix the bill. My bill went away all together, but my daughter's bill was sent to collections and they added a fee to it. Bringing the bill right back up to the over charged amount. This all happened AFTER they told me twice, they weren't going to send it to collections. read more

Absolutely horrible. Do NOT recommend. Arrived 9:30pm and was told by the front desk that they could not see us. We were told to leave and go to the emergency room. We insisted on being seen. They did not ask for history or current medications. When put in a room, they spent 3 minutes with us and gave no advice. Upon leaving, we could hear the doctor talking disrespectfully about us to other staff members. I do not understand how a doctor or professional office could ever imagine this behavior is acceptable. read more

Got a covid test here in January - they billed it as something else (that cost $125) instead of the covid test ($0). Had to call my insurance and get them to call mednow to fix this. I came here after falling down the stairs outside of an apartment building while doing Instacart. My arm was throbbing and cold. I came in with a pillow to rest it on and struggled to sign in and stuff.. after waiting the lady said they couldn't see me without a workers comp form. It's Instacart which is an independent contractor meaning I use my own insurance and just get reimbursed by them.. I explained I would use my own insurance and they still refused to even see me. I came in on March 2nd after 6 pm. The front staff were amazing, but when I went into the room (room #2 I believe) I was met with a very rude woman. She was black and appeared to be in her 40s. She scoffed at my symptoms and semi rolled her eyes when I handed her my medications (I have 5 medications and I wrote them down ahead of time). She seemed to be in a very bad mood. Completely unprofessional. When the doctor came in, he was patient and understanding. The whole process was quick, and there were safety precautions in the building. However, that irritated woman ruined the experience. It's not fair for people to be worried about their Health (especially when they have for life conditions like I do), to have to be met with such insensitiveness . read more

Ive never been here and live in midwest state. However the clinic did manage to run my insurance for a visit I didn't make. My insurance sent me a EOB in the mail. They gave me the clinics phone number and they were less than helpful to fix their mistake. They did manage to tell me that they do have a patient with the same name as birthday as me and her insurance carrier. When it came to fixing their mistake, absolutely nothing. My experience at this Urgent Care was like no other! I finished a business dinner at 7:40pm... Drive to the urgent care and was done (completely) by 8:07pm... I even had my medicines from Walgreens by 8:23pm. The PA (d. mellick) was Amazing! I felt like his only Patient and his only priority! I use urgency cares a lot in PA for my children... Confused as to why the staff is not wearing masks or patients in waiting room are not required to wear masks.

Arrived today and the parking lot was full. I had to illegally park at the business next door and walk over. I noticed people hanging out near their cars, in front of the building, and in the breezeway. Before I could open the door, my mouth hung open as I saw the office filled with people all over. No social distanced seating in place at all! Some people made their own rules by standing up against the wall and in the corners and near the restrooms. I made it to the front desk to overhear someone being told the wait would be 2hrs and 45mins. Both women working at the desk seemed to be overwhelmed, over worked, and tired of answering questions. I double checked with them to make sure I heard right, being that I arrived for only a simple task. I was told in an aggravated tone that 18/19 people were ahead of Me. WHY IS THERE EVEN THAT MANY PEOPLE IN THE BUILDING/LOBBY AT A TIME OF PANDEMIC?!!! I quickly left the building and sanitized my hands! read more

Worst place to go. I took my 2 year old there, I was taking in quickly which i was pleased with but what happened after was shameful. The nurse comes in for vitals, is 100% annoyed and unfriendly, very rough with my screaming&sick 2 year old. I didn't say anything and let it slide. The doctor comes through the door and "diagnosed" her with a condition without even looking at her at all. Threw a prescription up and sent me on my way. The next day we ended up in the ER and found out that my daughter has a totally different illness and would've been in for a sepsis if i Waited 12 hours longer. We been in the ICU for 3 days. This could've been prevented if this "doctor" would've actually took a look at her in the first place read more
