I called to get an appointment with Dr. Arrington & they said it would be 2 months unless someone cancelled or I saw another doctor. I was set up to see Dr. Abell who gave me a cortisone shot in the knee & X-ray showing lots of arthritis. He only gave a few mild pain pills even though I explained how much pain I was in & couldn't sleep at night because my leg ached all night & could not sleep. I called back to the office to ask for more pain medicine & he refused. Since I was an established patient & Dr. Arrington had replaced my hip in 2017 I called his nurse to see if I could get enough pain medicine until he could see me. Both doctors refused. Dr. Abell said he had DONE ME A FAVOR TO SEE ME. If this is so the $50 co-pay should be returned to me & any monies my insurance company paid for visit or X-rays. Very presumptous on his part to claim he had "done me a favor" for a visit I PAID FOR. I WILL NOT GO TO DR. ABELL OR DR. ARRINGTON FOR ANYTHING. THEY ARE NOT INTERESTED IN A PATIENT IN SERIOUS PLAIN. THIS IS SERIOUS. SUPPOSED PROFESSIONALS IN A POSITION TO HELP PATIENTS REFUSING TREATMENT & MAKING ME FEEL LIKE A FOOL TO ASK FOR HELP. THEY ARE IN THE WRONG PROFESSION. DON'T GO TO THEM IF YOU HAVE PAIN WITH YOUR COMPLAINT. THEY DON'T CARE.

At 230 pm no action had been taken, except checking vitals. At this point I asked what was taking so long, and was told the doctor got held up in traffic, and it shouldn't be much longer. At 3:00 I asked again and was told that it would be 10 minutes. I assured them if nothing happened in 10 minutes I would be leaving. At 3:10 I left and tossed my id band on the counter, and some bald headed man wearing green scrubs told me he didn't appreciate that, and he don't work there and don't be mad with him. He was behind a counter using a computer, but he don't work there? He then came out to the parking lot and made threats of physical violence against me. So in summary, this place does not care about the patients, and will allow someone who don't work there access their computer network, and make threats to patients. This was on June 12 2023 and perhaps this clinic should review video footage and deal with the trespassing person making threats. I doubt your medical records are safe here, and there is no way I would return to this place. Obviously they knew they were hours behind, and they could have made a simple phone call to tell me to just come a couple hours later. This was a complete waste of 9 hours of my day

They could also be more helpful with patients with walking disabilities. I often watched patients and their loved ones struggle while the staff and workers giggle about with no compassion for the elderly and/or disabled. My grannie loves Dr. Van and is extremely happy with him but the service surrounding him makes it difficult to consider staying at this establishment

Many friends recommended MedNow so I drove out of my way to go there just for them to be closed because of the holiday. They need to have a specialized voicemail indicating they're closed (they have a generic one that doesn't indicate if they are closed at the moment or just busy/not answering) so I did call and didn't talk to a person, and Google said they were open, so they also need to update Google hours for holidays. I'm not sure I'll ever make that drive again when there are closer options for me that had better communication about their holiday hours. I'm sure MedNow offers good care but I unfortunately didn't get to experience it and it was such an annoying situation I don't plan to try them again.

My husband was told they needed additional documentation and that once insurance processed, I would be refunded the $1100+ I paid out of pocket. Afterward, I was told they would not process insurance at all because I self-paid. No one contacted me beforehand to explain this or give me options. Patients should be aware that there seem to be serious issues with insurance authorization, communication, and providing accurate information -- mistakes that can become very costly.

I was taken to ICU and surrounded by what I took to be a gaggle of excellent concerned nurses. After that I was out in ICU under complete confusion and had a lot of questions. Enter Ada, the nightmare "ICU NURSE" she was awful, cruel and abusive I spent my first night in ICU confused and terrified. The other patient who shared the room behind a curtain suddenly died in the middle of the night, and then her immediate family- her son, his wife had been in and out to see her- came the next morning after she died. More fun for other patients, I remember one of the other nurses telling me how sorry she was I had to deal with that, and I wanted to cry just because she was being kind to me because "Ada" had been so cruel. Because of her, I was confused and didn't know what was happening and had to have the demon nurse "Ada" taking "care of me." If I knew that god awful women's last name I would post it. She was cruel, abusive, and completely unconcerned, which is odd, because all the other staff was kind and sympathetic. It was like she thought less of me so it was ok to treat me like a nonhuman. I remember one night the doctor in ICU came to talk to me and wanted a blood panel done, and "Ada" came back in carrying on about how she was supposed to be off, but I had said something to the doctor, and now she had to stay later and she had been on her feet since whatever am in the mourning. She was just an ugly person. But, it puts a hamper on all the other wonderful people in the ICU who were actually concerned and cared. God bless the ginger nurse Stephanie, who was so kind and concerned about me after the whole "nightmare nurse Ada" experience. She was a saving grace, nurse Ada whatever her last name is an awful, cruel, misaligned person who has no business being a nurse, much less one who cares for individuals in an ICU and traumatic situation.
