Prices are great and installed my tires very fast . They didn't mention the warranty that was too late to at when I purchased the tire so when I asked they didn't give me it anymore and didn't want refund it to add it :( read more

Came for a simple tire change. I had an appointment at 2pm and no one would talk to me until 230. The car was supposed to be ready by 3 and still waiting at 4pm. I ordered my tires ahead online and they lost them and it took them awhile to find. This shop is full of only young boys with no management on site. It's very sloppy and disorganized. Go somewhere else. See photo below showing all young men and literally NO manager. I had to walk up to the techs and interrupt them to check me in. I've been going to these places for three years and not once did a tech try to convince me to make an appointment and then wait three hours for old change. I was OK to wait for two hours I had things to do but Angel, the tech felt like that was too many cars in front of me with two apartments if you didn't want to do the oil change, I think would've been a lot easier just to say we don't feel like doing all the change Walmart employees do better. read more

Yesterday, 10/1, I noticed that my passenger rear tire was very low in air again (25 vs 33). Then my friend noticed that it had a nail. We searched for nearby repair places in the area and a lot of the places closed at 5pm. We went to Pepboys in Oceanside since they were opened til 7pm and they were not helpful at all so my last resort was this place which my friend didn't know that they had an auto care center which was also opened til 7pm. So we parked and someone helped us. My friend told him the situation and replied that he'll be able to plug the tire within 45 mins. (We arrived around 6:10pm). When he was taking my info, he made a great rapport with my friend and I as we were so grateful that he's able to do this simple repair. What's great was because I've taken my cars here in the past, my info was still in the computer. All we had to change was the info of what type of current car I have. 45 mins later, my tire was repaired and the cost was even lower than what he quoted me. Thank you Oscar for helping us! You finished even past your closing time of 7pm. Plus, thank you for putting a cover on my air valve on my tire as well. Keep us the good work. read more

This is my "should have checked Yelp first" review. After first calling to confirm that they had an air cabin filter in stock and time to install it, I walked into Walmart Auto Care Center to find a follicly challenged man on an ego trip. This man kept telling a young applicant how grateful the applicant should be for the opportunity to work at Walmart. After the applicant dutifully agreed, the man continued and essentially made the applicant kowtow while a customer (me) was onlooking and recite an oath of allegiance. In retrospect, I should have left, but I thought the need for a less stinky car was worth stinky customer service. I was wrong. The man had no record of my phone call and seemed annoyed that I wanted to purchase a part. He begrudgingly said that he would look for the part, which turned out to be 20 feet away from where we were standing. He agreed to walk the 60 seconds to my car to figure out if they could install it, even though the Walmart website said installation is $10. Midway through the walk, my man had a change of heart and instructed me to pull my car to where he was standing. Perhaps he got his steps in for the day. Anyway, he concluded that his colleagues could not install the air cabin filter because they could damage the car in doing so. I asked for clarification and received an unintelligible response. I then asked if he could discount the part since I drove a long distance and was promised it would be installed, to which he said "it is MY store, and I do not give discounts." When I asked this man his name, he cartoonishly pumped out his chest and proudly proclaimed "I am Nick." Luckily for my sanity, I initially misheard the first letter and thought he said something more apropos and comical. Slightly cheaper prices are not worth the headache -- one star. read more

absolutely terrible customer service. Arrived at 1st appt only for them to tell me they canceled it. Booked 2nd appt while on the phone with this location's auto care department. They walked me through the booking process & gave me completely incorrect information. When I arrived at second appointment, they gave my appointment away, left me sitting there for over an hour while 5 technicians sat around talking. Steer CLEAR dangerous crew- 4 tires installed 12/28/24 2 hour wait- Walmart Store 2094-Vista under the management of Jose are installing new tire sales without balancing the tires, even though it is part of sale invoice. call made 1/6/25 9:20AM speaking with Tony the COACH- "We do not always have the weights as they are only ordered on monthly basis". Even if we did the machine is broken, Not sure when it will be fixed. "It is allot of (politics) red tape to have them ordered or machine fixed". Tony's recommendation is to go to San Diego store and hope they have the sticky weights for balancing. The Tacoma serviced drives worse on new tires than when I brought it in, hope it does not RAIN. I want my old tires back and I will go to a Real Tire center that actually does what they say they do -Sell and install tires. Very disappointed. read more

I found an amazing deal on tires from Walmart.com and decided to have them installed at the Vista location since it was closer to me. I made the appointment and got there maybe 10 minutes before the appointment. There was a mechanic helping another customer decide on a tire for purchase and I waited to be next. The mechanic went to put the tire back and never came back. This rude lady named Sherry asked me if I needed something and I informed her I had an appointment. She then asked me if I let the mechanics inside of the garage know. I'm trying to figure out what logical sense it would make to have a customer go through the garage and holler that I had an appointment. That would be a lawsuit waiting to happen. Then she let one of the guys know I had an appointment for my tires. He came in and got me checked in a got my keys. That part was easy. I got a message saying my car was finished and I went to the counter to get it. The same guy was working on an iPad and let me know he was getting checked out and on my way. He then walked outside to what I assume was to grab something. After about 5 minutes, I looked out the window to see he went off the change the oil on another car. I had to knock on the window to flag the other 3 mechanics who were conversing to ask where my keys are. One went quickly to get my paperwork and then went to the lock box to get my keys. No keys. He goes to ask the mechanic who was originally checking me out to get my keys. He doesn't have them. He says a different person moved my car. Then that person is asked. He doesn't have them. At this point I'm getting nervous because I don't see my car and no one has my keys. We walk around the corner and there's my car with the windows rolled down. The car was sitting there with the windows down, doors unlocked, and keys laying in the passenger seat where it could have easily gotten stolen. I called and complained about the ordeal. Apparently a manager is supposed to reach out but it's been two days and I honestly don't expect anything back. I just know I will stick to my normal tire shop. read more

Since I made a complaint to Corporate bcuz they don't want to own up to their negligence,they won't service my vehicle.Then they told me to go to the other Walmart,I did n that Walmart won't see me neither. Service is the best price. Usually tough to get service however the manager Nick ensures that ultimate care is given to the customers. You see the care he has for each customer despite people not being patient; I've seen him on multiple occasions help everyone. George and the technician Chris is great as well. BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE! Do not bring your vehicles here! Honestly, I hardly ever post any reviews even when I have had bad service, but this matter I had to post my opinion. If I could give them zero, I would! I have been coming here for a few years now used to due to own oil changes to ensure job was done right. However, due to limited time, decided to bring in. I brought my vehicle (Sentra) two weeks ago and my wife's vehicle (Honda Pilot) last weekend both full synthetic oil changes. During my visit on the Pilot, before they started the work (1 hour later), I get a call from them indicating that I would need to sign a waiver since they indicate that the current oil is extremely low and they do not want to be responsible for any issues after they fill it up. Odd because if it were as low as they say, I would have recognized any issues with the performance or sounds from engine or to even be driving it. Anyhow, long story short, I inform the Manager at the time that it is odd that the oil is as low as they say being that the last oil change I did for the Pilot was with them about 3-4 months ago. They probably realize this and reason they want me to sign the waiver. I sign it just to get the job done, but I am now extremely hesitant to allow them to do this job, but I move ahead. Today, I decide to check my oil levels on both vehicles. The Sentra: Levels are the same hot or cold, but the oil is dark/old as if it never was changed. It should be a pinkish oil color and not dark almost black. This signifies to me that they didn't even change it. The Pilot: I check it cold and levels were normal, but when I check it after warming it up, levels were low. The oil did have a pinkish color, but levels were low. There response to me when I was there during the oil change as to why the levels were be low if I do not notice any drops of oil where I park whatsoever is that perhaps my car is burning the oil, yea right. I would be able to smell it. Aside from that, it was only a week ago that I changed the oil on the Plot with them and even if my car was burning the oil, it would not do so in a week. My wife and I would definitely have smelled the oil being burnt that fast. I honestly do not know why they would conduct business this way or what went wrong or if anyone else is witnessing the same issue, please contact me to file a law suit for improper business ethics. I will definitely be reporting them to the Better Business Burial. read more

This place has poorly trained technicians, and every time I came to have my oil changed, it was always someone different than the previous time. Every different manager that was working the floor either didn't know what they were doing or they didn't care! Now, They use impact drivers to remove and replace your drain bolt and that alone is pretty scary especially when your drain pan only has three threads in it! Plus, they won't allow you to bring your own quality oil filter anymore because they want to use the orange Fram oil filter which are totally crap!! I encourage anyone who cares for their cars to YouTube the Fram oil filter comparison to see what I'm talking about! You'll be horrified when you watch it!! Also, often times the technicians spend precious time talking about their personal lives amongst themselves while cars are lined up outside waiting to get serviced!! If you're one of the fortunate customers who gets their car through without a hitch, be sure you check oil level when you get home, then check under your vehicle for leaks or drips, because on one occasion, they forgot to put the washer back on the drain plug on my truck so i had a mess on my concrete driveway when i got home!! My family and I will never return to that service center again and prefer to pay the extra more money for quality trained professionals!! Arrived at this location for an oil change. I was excited to see there was only one car in the bay. I noticed one individual working on it, one individual walking around in front of it, and the individual who may have been management wheeling stacks of tires into a shipping truck. I asked, "how does this Walmart service people? Do I need to stay in my car or do I need to go in to place my order?" The gentleman wheeling the tires said, "will be with you in just a minute,". So I waited... For an additional six minutes, while he continued to wheel tires into some shipping truck and while I noticed two other people walking around doing absolutely nothing. Mind you, I have my grandson of two years old sitting in the back seat. It was my hopes to quickly get an oil change before taking him home. After my six minute wait, I decided to leave and go to the Walmart in Oceanside. I've been to the Oceanside Walmart for many years and have had nothing but excellent service. needless to say, I was disappointed in this particular facility of Sycamore and 78. So much for "customer service first". Instead, it's more like, I'll get to you when I get done doing what I'm doing. At least he called me sir. read more

I went in to replace 4 SUV tires, an oil change, and possibly new battery. When I arrived at 2pm, I waited in the oil change line, hoping to get oil changed before my 3pm tire appointment. Due to not enough technicians, I was asked to leave the oil change line to make my 3pm tire appointment. Unfortunately, WalMart policy is not to do oil changes while your tires are being replaced. I asked for a manager and NIck responded with pretty much the WalMart policy. I would have to wait until after my tires were changed and then go back to the oil change line (that I had already waited at least 20 minutes). Nick worked some magic by getting my tires replaced quickly, then having my oil changed and to top it off, he tested and replaced my battery. This was good for Walmart, good for Nick and good for me! Sorry but I laughed at him because I was standing at chain link fence in bay area when employee 1 told female employee 2 that he over filled the oil on my car and advised her to drain some before letting vehicle go. It was a Saterday quite a few ppl in line waiting for oil changes. The manager tells employee #1 to go out to line of cars and get signatures as he was about to finish my car. Obviously she did not drain the oil due to what happened to my engine. They denied denied denied. Until I called their corporate office and found out about their camera in oil area. So corporate called them the next day. And I got a call from store. 110% change in their tones and the way they spoke with me. Finally I get my 5 claim # and this one was real. The 4 prior we're lip.service claim numbers to get me off phone.. so it takes 2 months for claims to call me and they start in with there's no proof this that and the other. So no I am getting a lawyer who has looked at the evidence I have and the maticulous notes of the people and times and what they said plus in-store video their now gonna fix my car. So if you get oil change watch and listen, double check they did oil change. And if possible put a tiny mark on oil filter like I did. They put the same old oil filter back on my car... read more

Over 3 hours to fix a flat tire. Those employees have no motivation to do the their job. Poor management clearly.

Waited over an hour for them to call after the mechanic told me it was going to take 30 min for a full synthetic oil change. Finally got fed up with waiting and asked the guy at the front desk if my car was ready - who btw, this guy would constantly leave the desk and 90% of the time no one was there to help me. When I first got there I waited close to 20 min for service after pressing their "push for help" button 3 times. Anyway, the guy at the front desk had my paperwork buried under a stack of other paperwork (I'm assuming it was for other people who had dropped their car off). He rang me up and handed me my paperwork - apparently it took them 15 minutes for my oil change and I was waiting there for an entire hour. Excuse me? Terrible service and no respect for anyone's time. NEVER bringing my car back here again. read more

Over the course of a week I tried to contact this place many many times sometimes being on the phone waiting for someone to answer their phone for 5 minutes at a time. Nobody answers the phone and when it rings you to the main operator they patch you back into the same line that will never be answered by the automotive department.
