I just want to give a huge thank you to the staff at This discount tire location on Santa Fe in Vista California! One year ago I bought four new tires, yesterday my low tire indicator light turned on, so I pulled up to have them check it. They explained to me that one of my tires was not the right size. I explained to them that this is where I bought four brand new tires one year ago. They profusely apologized, went and spoke their manager and let me know that they were going to give me two brand new tires in the front so that my tires would at least be even on the front! Along with apologizing for their mistake. They had me in and out in under an hour and a half. A little disappointed in the original mistake, but I understand things happen as we're all human, but I exceptionally thankful and grateful for their honesty and doing the right thing. They literally have a customer for life! read more

My thanks to Jaime for taking the time to place a new wheel cover on my back tire for free. I had just had 3 new tires installed at another Discount Tire while the 1 tire that did not need replacement (since I replaced it 1 year ago after a flat) somehow found its wheel cover missing after I just drive the car to another appointment. My guess is that in re-airing & re-balancing the tires, perhaps the Discount Tire in Escondido did not put the old wheel cover on the 1 year old wheel back on as tightly as the 3 new tires that just used the same wheel covers from the old one. Anyhow, now I have 3 back up wheel covers from O'Reilly in case anything else mysteriously flies off, and many thanks again to Jaime for the complimentary service even triple checking my new tires and their wheel covers too! read more

Always such an amazing service. Informative, efficient, and fast. Every employee i have worked with is helpful. I dont feel pushed to do anything which makes me feel comfortable. Will 100% be back and recommend this location to anyone around. read more

I made an appointmet for a tire rotation for today, 1/10/2026 at 1:15pm. I was greeted by Jorge and he checked me in around 1:18pm. I was told car should be out in 45mins, since I had an appointment. That's the usual wait time I got from my previous appointments. I chose to wait for the car. I got the link to the status at 1:23pm. 2:00pm had passed, and I still didn't get a text saying my car is ready for pick-up. My car was still on the lot. Gave it 15 more minutes, and still nothing. That's when I talked to Patrick. I showed him the status of my car, and that it pushed out my drop off window to 3:00pm(image attached). He checked what happened, and he told me somehow my paperwork was not put(or flagged) as an appointment. He said as soon as they're done with one of the vehicles(Tesla), my car would be next. Around 2:25pm, I saw my car on the bay already. Then at 2:40pm, the car was ready for me to pick-up. Now, I'm hoping the correct tire rotation procedure was done, with how quick it was done. I just hope this gets corrected, as luckily, I didn't have anything important to get to after the service. read more

Stopped by because my low tire pressure light came on. Juan helped me out and was super friendly and informative. They checked and filled all my tires for free, and he gave me a quote for new tires since I'll need replacements soon. He also let me know they price match, which is great. Really good service! read more

I wish all business had the service, friendliness and expertise that Discount tire delivers- every single time I go. Went to DT in Oceanside (El Camino Real) and had the pleasure of meeting Cal, who checked my tire pressure for me. He also checked the condition and all of the things above & beyond. He even helped me recalibrate. All with a big sincere smile. I will always be a customer with these guys. Thanks read more

Best tire shop in town! They offer great customer service and excellent value for new tires or rims, whether basic or high-performance. I recently bought four high-performance tires with sensors, and before that, four high-performance rims. This shop has consistently met my expectations. The store manager, Juan Bernal, is incredibly experienced, professional, and friendly. He explains everything clearly and genuinely seeks the best solution for your needs without trying to overcharge you. I also had a positive experience with Patrick, who was very helpful! The entire staff is genuinely nice. I wish I could recall everyone's names. I highly recommend this location to everyone, especially single women who might worry about being taken advantage of. This place is fair and honest. Flat tire? No problem - they are 100% good on their word to repair with a smile! Kudos to this location and the store manager for having such a great team! read more

From start to finish.... Online quote, price match, scheduling appointment, and actual service ... wow! I can't remember the last time I have thought "this was the best customer service I have had in a long time!" I was really treated like I was their most important customer ever. Both the Manager and my service rep (Patrick) were fabulous. I was in and out in 30 minutes. Highly recommend making an appointment as walk in traffic is a lot. Well done! I will absolutely refer this location for tires. I'm still saying "Wow"! read more

I purchased all four tires from this location along with their road hazard coverage. When I got a nail in one tire, staff confirmed the tire was unsafe to repair and told me it would be replaced at no cost. I was sent home driving on a tire they had already deemed unsafe, with the assurance a replacement would be ordered and installed promptly. I later learned -- without any call or notification -- that the tire had been discontinued, causing additional delay. When I followed up, I was told the replacement was finally "out for delivery." However, due to early closure and the store being closed the following day, no appointment could be scheduled. When I spoke directly with the store manager, Ishemel, I was told they "don't make appointments" and that I should simply show up and hope to be first, despite the tire already being acknowledged as unsafe to drive on. I also mentioned I drive my 3 young children daily in this vehicle and its raining this week. This is an unacceptable way to handle a known safety issue. I paid for coverage specifically to avoid situations like this, yet I was left driving on a compromised tire with no guaranteed resolution, no temporary solution, and no accountability. This experience reflects a serious breakdown in communication and concern for customer safety. I strongly recommend corporate review this location's practices. Issue started on 12/19/2025- will update, still left stranded read more

Stellar job and great customer service. They checked me in super fast and evaluated my car fairly. I was recommended to change all my tires, but they explained why. The service was quick and efficient. I'll definitely be back here if I need more of my tires changed. read more

These guys are great! The whole team here was super friendly and very quick about getting 4 new tires on my car. Would definitely come back here and it doesn't hurt that the pricing is great also! Great customer service here from Juan, he talked to me and helped me deal with my tire problem. They will price match other tire stores. It's usually busy here because of the good service, but the staff does a great job managing the work flow, and so you don't have to wait long. You can also book appointments online. I know other reviewers said Nora was great but I didn't get the same treatment from her, but the rest of the staff were great so that made up for it. read more

Lots of compliments to the team, Adrian and Nora were exceptional. No wonder that location was so busy, they gave me all the information that I needed before providing the service. I definitely recommend Discount Tire in Vista. read more

It is very annoying to be told your car will be done at a certain time and then you're made to wait an hour after that. Don't make promises or "estimates" that you cannot keep. Their excuse was that appts came in and yet I was told there was only 1 car ahead of me and it would only be a 45 minute wait. Terrible customers service in that regard. NOT happy' read more

Like a Race Team Pit Crew, Quick! Arrived for a tire rotation and spoke to Juan. He introduced himself, examined the tires, and had his Pit Crew go to work. Hadn't finished going through all my email accounts and the car was done. Wow! Amazing. Had purchased the tires from Discount Tires a few years ago and so the tire rotation was free. Great value for $ Have to say: for this region of North San Diego County, my best Discount Tires experience yet! read more

I have been shopping at Discount tire since I started driving almost 30 years ago. These guys work really hard and continue to provide excellent service at a fair price. Patrick really went above and beyond on my most recent visit a week ago. Discount Tire - Tires Near Me - Vista, California

Never easy working with this location. Went in for a tire rotation all was well until I asked for a hand jack which is explicitly stated not to use lifts. Maybe Sean knows better than Tesla engineers but I'm willing to bet he doesn't want to do extra work so it's easier to say "our lifts are Tesla certified". Not true, there is no such thing. Then I was told my tires don't even need rotating. So I left. (Again I was going off teslas recommendation for rotation) Then made an appointment to get the tires rotated and a patch from a nail. They did patch the tire but to nobody's surprise now the hand jacks they have don't work and they only have 2 that work is what they told my wife. Sean has given me multiple problems on multiple occasions ranging from tread warranty to using hand jacks. It's never easy and this is the only guy to ever give me a problem. Management really need to reconsider how he conducts business as I won't go back to this location. Horrible way to treat customers who have otherwise been loyal. read more

Nora was amazing. Was super friendly and fixed my tire in the blink of an eye. So grateful for her and her amazing service.

Let me just start that I hate getting tires or my car serviced... but when I need too I come here and this specific location I think they are all the same but I just love the guys at this store. I called, they ordered my tires gave me a great price let me also add I drive Run flats and these tires are not cheap. Anyways they gave me a better price than Costco and had my tires the same day. I always make an appointment because well why would you do anything without one! So tires were in, appointment made. I checked in, they explained everything in Laymans terms and I paid! 30 min later my tires were on, balanced or whatever they do back there and I was on the road! Ask for Adrian too when you come- he seems to always be the nicest and most knowledgeable. There are a lot of tire companies out there but Discount Tire in Vista off Service is honestly the best! read more

Terrible. Had the earliest appointment. Arrived 10 minutes early, got given the run around, passed from tech to tech. Asked to wait while a walk-in was dealt with. Nobody at the desk. I had to get to work, cancelled the order. This place had a different manager. It has gone so far south. Was a customer here since 2015. Walmart did the job for less. Message to area sales: be careful. read more

Juan Bernal is dishonest and terrible manager. I came in for a simple tire rotation because I purchased brand new tires from Discount Tire over a year ago--These are virtually new tires. He examined my tires with me and said my tires were in good condition but a few "lug nuts" had some wear. It was very clear to me that my lug nuts looked fine. I had an intuition 'ping' that he was exaggerating, in attempt to make some money..... and you'll see that I was right***. He used his tool to demonstrate how my lug nuts were getting too fat for the tool but his demonstration made no sense because he was exaggerating. He brought me to the front, made me wait 15 more minutes to find a box of lugnuts from the back, and then quoted me $100 for a new set but all I wanted was a 'tire rotation' not lugnuts. I pushed back by saying, "I'm just here for a tire rotation, can I come back for the lug nuts another time and examine this with my boyfriend?". It was clear I didn't believe him and that he was pulling this because I was a woman. I asked, "can you please give me a tire rotation without me getting new lug nuts today?" He said, "I don't think you should because we can't screw them back on". This was a total lie because.... .... I went straight to the San Marcos Discount Tire location right after he REFUSED to service me. As soon as I walked into D.T. San Marcos, they politely examined my car and skipped the charades Juan was pulling..., not saying *ONE THING* about my lug nuts being worn, not one thing about them. You would think if my lug nuts were so bad that Juan refused to give me a tire rotation, they'd notice right? As suspected, there was no issue. The San Marcus employee said my tires were good and that he was going to move forward with the rotation. 30 minutes later, the job was done, and no comments about my lug nuts. Now this was the professionalism and honesty Juan completely Lacked. My LUG NUTS were just FINE and the tire rotation was performed without hassle. I will never go to the Vista Location ever again. It's ridiculous that Juan thought he could lie and literally refuse the tire rotation service, meanwhile San Marcos had 0 issues and mentioned nothing. Juan? I thought the tire rotation couldn't be done? It was done. It really made me mad because I knew he was lying and it set me back an hour. Thank you Discount Tire San Marcos, screw you Vista! read more

We have bought several sets of tires here over the years. Good prices and service here. Today a screw in the tread of a fairly new Michelin brings me in. A little hectic in the lobby but once checked in it will be a pretty quick job, less than an hour. read more

Everything went well! From the moment I arrived I was greeted promptly by Jaime, who checked me in by asking what I needed help with, then advised me of potential charges and told me the ETA to research and complete. I waited comfortably in their lobby and within the anticipated ETA the repairs were completed. Fortunately the tire which had been losing air could be easily repaired so no charge for their work. Amazing! I highly recommend this store and Jaime in particular. I'm an extremely satisfied customer! read more

These guys are awesome. Juan, Patrick, Adrian and the entire crew. I live closer to the South Melrose store, but after a particular experience, I'll never go back after having gone there for many years. We had to make an unexpected trip to Norcal and I went to the Melrose store at 4:30 on a Friday afternoon. I really needed the tires checked and rotated before we left. The manager, named Hunter, basically told me to beat it. He couldn't help me. I need an appointment. I was very surprised, especially since Discount advertises that if you get there before they close, they'll take care of you. So I called the store on Service Place and they said, bring it over we'll get you taken care of you and they did! These guys over at the Service Place store are always friendly, helpful and customer oriented. The crew is friendly and look like they genuinely enjoy working there. This is a reflection of their management. Great store. Im a customer for life read more

Not what it was. Coming here for 7 years, never again. I spent $1,600 on 2 sets of car tires in the last 3 months. Same prices as tire rack plus $88 fitting fees. No cost incentive. If you book a slot you end up queuing. Today, arrived at 8.25, stood in line till 8.40 Quality of service: One car was returned with loose lug nuts. One was finger loose. I re-torqued the lot, and it varied from 10ft/lb to over torqued.
