Do NOT go here! Went in for an oil change for our 18 year old daughters car on 1/9/2026 drove off and after 2 miles our 2019 55k miles car died! After being ignored for weeks Jiffy Lube finally paid for a new engine and turbo but when I got the car back it then needed a transmission which they refused to pay for. Transition shop told me it was junk or had to get fixed after jiffy lube gave it back to me in "working" condition. Was unsafe to drive and would shake and gears would slip. Cost me 5k to fix!!!! Took nearly 3 months to get my car back to working order. The jiffy lube local store and regional manager are a joke. Regional manager told me he is doing what he is told and refuses to let us speak to the actual person making the decisions (his boss). Will NEVER use Jiffy Lube again and will be perusing this matter with the BBB and legal. As a family of public servants, combat wounded (100% disabled) USMC veteran and school teacher we are appalled at the level of customer service negligence we have endured. read more

Never had to take a step out of my car the entire time. Complimentary vehicle check, some additional recommendations were given and the staff showed me old/new parts. My problem was with the final bill, please see attached picture. NONE of the charges make any sense. I had a $26 off coupon to start with. Do not go here. I took my truck in, they did not drain the old oil, instead put 5.8 quarts ontop of the old oil, causing an oil explosion under my truck on the way home. Also my transmission fluid looked like black oil, I had to drain and fill them both myself. When I called in, they suggested driving it back!!! What idiots. I was told I will get a refund but I will be having my lawyer contact them. read more

predatory. I had no idea what this was going to cost. I assumed it would be cheap--cheaper than usual, because I had never been to Jiffy Lube before. Big mistake. I was expecting a quick, affordable oil change, not $84 for the most basic service imaginable. I've been to nicer shops with actual waiting rooms, actual service, and staff who type in my information for me. All I have to do is tell them what I need, not stand there doing it myself like I'm checking myself out at a grocery store. And you know what? That's fine if it's a cheap service. But at $84, you better be doing everything for me. You better be typing my information, driving my car, popping the hood, doing the whole damn thing. Instead, I got a drive-thru, self-service oil change, where I had to sit in my hot-ass car with the AC off while they did it. That was an amazing $84 experience. Never again. And the worst part? I didn't even know the price until I was already parked in the bay. At that point, what was I supposed to do? Drive off and waste more time looking for another shop? No, I just let them do it because I wanted it over with. But it was infuriating. and then you guys have the audacity to ask me if I wanna do a $120 transmission fluid change... absolutely not. I probably would've if it was a fair price to begin with. I don't know what that costs. I just know that I WONT be getting it done there. Never coming back here. read more

First time here -or any Jiffy Lube. Just went in for a standard oil change. I did the price estimate calculator on the main website and when I went in they quoted me the same price. There were a few customers in front of me (which I liked to see as that's a good sign) so I was in an out of there in about 50 minutes. All associates there are communicating with each other telling each other what they're working on, a manager's walking around getting updates on where everyone is on what they're working on, so it seemed really well organized. The one thing I don't want is an upsell which they didn't do. They brought up a couple things that I already knew about my car that aren't pending so that was fine. Wouldn't hesitate to go back when I'm in need of the same service. read more

That was the fastest, easiest process ever! You don't even need to get out of your car! You pull up to the garage and they wave for you to pull in, then ask what you need then and there. They were so patient with me because I had to google what I needed. They were even nice enough to provide a coupon for me. They were good enough for me to drive two cities over to this specific location, and then things went downhill in 2022-2023... but after filling out a review to corporate, I decided to give them another shot at the end of 2023, and it seems that alot of employees (including the manager) were replaced and I had good service once again. If they keep this up, I'll keep coming back. I've notices alot of bad reviews for this location around the same time line that Ive had bad experiences, Im glad they changed and are good again! I have been getting oil change service at this location for over 8 years. The service has always been quick and great. This time there was a different crew of three people and things went bad from the very beginning. An employee came out to greet me and seemed extremely frustrated that they're understaffed and kept repeating that I will have to wait because they're just so understaffed. There was two cars in the bays at the time and I was the third one. I patiently waited and was asked to pull in when another car left. I saw no problem with that. Employees seem to be in no rush at all and kept talking between each other and standing around a lot more than I have ever observed at this location. After the service was completed, which was pretty quick, a gentleman came up to me and took my credit card for the payment. He then proceeded to go to a different car and engage in an eighth minute conversation with a lady behind the wheel. I called over the gentleman that came out to greet me and did the service and politely asked for my credit card to be charged and return to me because I was in a rush. The tech, in a very rude and annoyed voice, keep telling me to calm down, because they're just so overstaffed and they're just so busy. He continued being extremely rude and then went over to the other tech that had my credit card and they continue to have a conversation between each other for almost 6 minutes. I stayed in my car and waited for my receipt and the credit card. When I got my credit card back I asked, again politely, for the oil change warning light to be reset. The tech asked me to exit the vehicle so that another gentleman can get in the car and reset the light. He then asked me in an extremely rude voice if I was okay and again that I needed to calm down. This was for no reason whatsoever. I proceeded to open the door to exit and the tech jumped back and yelled that I almost hit him and to again - CALM DOWN. At this point I was extremely annoyed and told him that I'm never coming here again, and the tech told me "good, I think it's a good idea that you not come back here again". I proceeded to get in the car and leave and he continued to tell me as I was driving out that he's sorry that they couldn't meet the high standards that I expected and he just wouldn't stop talking all the way until I left the parking lot. My first post was very negative as I had gotten an oil change for my wifes car, only to find a huge oil mess on my drive after she went to drive it for the first time. I wish I would have gone to the store first to try and have them fix but I did a very negative post. After my post, management got in touch with me directly to resolve the problem. I went back to the store, talked with their General Manager Paul who took care of EVERYTHING excellently. Of course they fixed the oil leak problem (loose drain plug), then the manager himself came to my home and thoroughly treated and power washed all the oil off my driveway - not bit of it left. Any company who has a manage that committed to making things right deserves kudos and appreciation - I can't say enough how pleased I am with how they handled the situation. read more

It was so darn hot when I went and the first thing I asked was, How long is this gonna take?!? Lol, my version of pleasantries. Luckily these guys weren't lying and they got my oil change done in 20 mins and I didn't stew in the sweltering summer heat! They even had a lobby to wait in and a clean-ish restroom. I never went to Jiffy Lube when I lived in LA, but I was very happy with the customer service here and would return to the San Marcos location without hesitation. Note that also take fleet vehicles. I arrived at Jiffy Lube literally 2 minutes before closing time. All my check engine oil lights/ low oil alerts were going off in my car so I needed to have someone help me check my oil levels ASAP since I didn't feel my car was safe to drive. I previously took my car to a random oil change place and I was only 1k into my previous oil change. David warmly welcomed me, took my car in with zero grief (keep in mind it was now past 6:00 pm at this point). David and Ernie both checked my oil levels (I was bone dry) topped off my fluid, checked my car for oil leaks and helped me out when I was in a bind. They were professional, helpful, and exceeded all my expectations for customer service! They have earned my trust and I will definitely go back to this location for my future oil change needs.
