When they finished I asked if my tires were checked for air and he asked another guy working and he said yes they did. I explained my pressure light was still on and he said it may take a few minutes. I left and went to get gas and decided to check my tires, and no they did not add air! The back tire was very low and would not have happened in less than a five minute drive down the road to Shell. I really wanted to give them four stars for service and friendly staff but I specifically asked if they would check the tires when I pulled in because of my warning light. With multiple employees working on the car it should not have been missed- and it's on their checklist of things to do when you get an oil change!

My wife went in for a normal oil change, and they ended up flooding her engine. Not only did they ruin her car, but they refused to take responsibility to fix it and make it right. Car was totaled. I recently took my car in for an oil change and immediately noticed an oil leak the next day. I brought it back to valvoline TWICE for them to attempt to fix it (not knowing what the problem was. I was told it was fixed. The next time I started my car my check engine oil light was on. I took it to a 3rd party mechanic and they told me that whoever worked on the car last broke the entire oil pan and it needed replacing. I filed a claim and they refused to take responsibility for this as well. Had to pay for both fixes out of pocket. Just wanted a simple and quick change, it should have been a flawless job anyone could do yet somehow someway they failed to use the correct oil filter, AND failed to correctly install an air filter I also needed. This caused my truck to continually run lean for the time after I got it done and over with, completely screwing over my engine, causing it to stall MULTIPLE times. As of today, four of my SIX cylinder's are misfiring, and I need a total reset of my trucks computer and another inspection to make sure nothing else was screwed over.

Okay, but rapport/trust not established…read more I was able to get an appointment immediately. The man that usually answers the phone (won't say his name) explained to me what was wrong with my car and quoted a price. I couldn't help but feel that I was given the "Highball Technique". I was offered a higher price then cut down to lower price which is what I believe how much Midas would have actually charged in the first place. It would have been better to be up front about it.....My research quoted me at a price $150-200 less than what I paid but lucky for them I really needed it fixed. I was also told that he would check if everything was okay when I mentioned my tires. To my disappointment, I did not get feedback regarding this issue. Nonetheless, the shop was very quick and my car was done by the end of the same day. Its been a couple of days so far without further issue. The man that I spoke to was also very accommodating to the fact that I commute from West Chester and needed time to pick up my car.
