I went to the Firestone location on 202 E. Pulaski Hwy in Elkton, MD. on Tuesday 8/5/25. I got there at 7:20am. to see about buying 2 tires for my 2019 Chevy Trax SUV. John helped me. He had to order them and was told to come back at 1pm they would be delivered to the store. Somehow, the order was mixed up and my delivery wasn't there until 4:30pm. John made it " right" for me. He and Danai both apologized saying they have never had a mix up in delivery times before. They had a tv and coffee machine so I sat watched two movies and waited. Once the tires were delivered, John had a technician put them in right away. I walked out of the store at 5:30pm, 4 hours later, but understood that " things happen" and it was ok. Let me preface it by saying I've been a fire stone company for at least 15 years now. I love tires plus, fire stone, and any other affiliated brand because of their customer service, outstanding price, and overall value. I had an appointment at 3:30. I got there 3:45. They took me in soon as I got there which is awesome! Overall the service took 30 minutes. I didn't have my store credit card which I let them know in advance and they help me out anyway. Tarantula problem getting my card information from another store so they took time to troubleshoot it and made it worse. They're lifesavers for that! Bunny lol cash so this really helped me out. I highly recommend this in any other fire stone or isolated brand, the cause of the aforementioned price. Great service and value makes it easy to recommend this place! read more

After getting my 2008 Toyota Solara convertible checked out by my mechanic, he told me I needed a new back tire as there was a punture and tear with tire side wall and couldn't be patched. I took my car to Firestone to purchase and install two new rear tires. Seemingly simple enough of a job, but no. I went on to have the worst consumer experience in my life. After the installation, I started to drive it home. It was immediately realized something was wrong once I going over 40 mph. The car felt completely off-balance, and appear to violently shake. I immediately returned it to Firestone and let them know there was something wrong. The front desk cashier went to speak to the mechanic and the mechanic reported there was a dent in my rim which was causing the issue. I replied that couldn't be possible as my my car wasn't off balance when I brought in in for service. I requested that they look at it again. They said they couldn't as they were booked and told me I needed a new rim. My paperwork did not reflect this rim issue and I couldn't understand why they wouldn't look at car again. I eventually left the store hurt and confused. I was polite, but assertive in telling them something was wrong. I was still dismissed. Maybe because I'm a female? Maybe I should have more dramatic? I'll never know. But they sent me on my way. I called my mechanic who inspected their work, said my rims where perfectly fine. What was missing were weights when they mounted the tire. These weights are necessary to balance the tire. It was absolutely shoddy work on behalf of Firestone. Not to mention numerous safety issues for me and possible damage to my beloved Solara convertible while driving my unsafe car. Thank you Firestone. I called Firestone back and after having to wait several days due to staffing issues, I did return and they corrected the issue quickly, but without an apology for their shoddy service and the horrible customer experience. When a customer comes IMMEDIATELY back with issues after you service their car, LISTEN to them. They will never have my business again. read more

Came in super early because my "check engine" light was on in my car (around 9AM). I ended up getting my tires rotated but was told to come back later in the afternoon since they had a lot of appointments. Came back around 12PM and waited over two hours for them to get to my car. Once they did, they told me there was an issue with the connection they use to check and told me to go to my car dealership instead. I ended up getting charged $85 and I still don't know what's wrong with my engine. I gained nothing out of this transaction. I should have went to my dealership in the first place and not have spent my time here. Basically I wasted an entire day and lost 85 bucks for no reason. Thanks Firestone. read more

Don't bring your car here. Brought mine in for one thing paid $1332 only to drive away with a car that now leaks oil everywhere when I never even had a leak until I let these people "fix" my car. This is for the elkton md location. Take your business and car elsewhere you will be glad you did. I don't usually leave reviews but this was absolutely ridiculous what happened and they are not accepting responsibility. Made a 7 am appointment. Didn't take the car back until 7:20. Over an hour later and only 2 tires out of 4 have been put on. It's as bad as sitting in a doctors office. Customer waiting area is dirty, kids section is a mess with toys on the floor, trash by the trash can and carpet not even vacuumed. We were there upon opening so it wasn't even cleaned from the night before. read more

Very horrible service!!! Had a 1 o'clock appointment to fix my flat tire!! At first they wernt trying to replace my tire even know I had a warranty on it!! Finally was able to explain to them it is covered n they have to replace it was definitely not going to pay these fucks. So after they realized it was covered they already took my car out the garage. soo I'm now waiting 3 hours and they all eating food and servicing others who came after I did! I'm never coming here again and dont recommend anyone else. Also one dude seems like he high he can barely talk n couldn't even talk to the warranty company on the phone and had to have his manager talk for him!! I then ask him if maybe they forgot that my jeep still needs tire his fat ass jus laughed instead of explaining what's going on! I also heard him tell another customer he wasn't supposed to b there today and he from the store out Baltimore so he didn't really care what's going on!Smh and when they finally did get to my car it took 20 mins to fix!! Truck's fuel pump failed on 95 and by chance had it towed here Saturday afternoon. They looked at it right away, had a good idea what the issue was, GM tech confirmed it, and it was fixed and back to me by Sunday afternoon. Best mechanic service I ever got. Thanks again. read more

Had my vehicle all day to put on 2 new front tires then at 2:25pm I got a call saying "we're not able to get to it today (Saturday) but if you want to leave it here we can get to it but Monday afternoon hopefully." This was after they told me they could get to it today by 3pm. I won't be leaving it nor will I be coming back. read more

Got a flat going over the Tydings Memorial Bridge, called, and they had the tire I needed. There were three people ahead of me so I did wait for a while but everyone was very friendly. They let me bring my dog in and even gave him some attention, which is always appreciated. They stuck to their quote and I was out and back on the road in an hour. read more

I do not have any good things to say about the Firestone in Elkton except for that the people were friendly. I dropped my car off the night before for a Maryland state inspection. I left my keys and instructions on the envelope in the drop box. They failed to call the correct number and therefore unable to reach me about my repairs. When I went to pick up my car it was not ready which cost me another day at work. I felt that the $1000 repairs on a car that two months prior had passed Delaware inspection was a bit excessive. One of the items I needed to pass was $77 hood struts. They were installed and I got my tags however without testing the hood. Today I had the opportunity to open the hood and it WOULDN'T CLOSE!!! I had to remove the struts to close the hood. Words of warning - get your car inspected somewhere else! read more

I came here for a screw in a tire which they fixed quickly but they neglected to check the other tire as I had asked. I was definitely upset when I had to come back the next day (with a flat rear tire-- the one I asked them to check-- 2 more screws) as I was headed out of town. Everyone was very friendly and apologetic and accommodating. They got my car in next and got it fixed quickly. I was very pleased with the customer service and will be back. The repair tech was also some sort of amateur shaman and removed the screw in tire hex free of charge. You don't get hex removal service like that just anywhere. read more

I stopped in for an AC/overheating problem. Staff was friendly and fast, but they provided a diagnosis and suggested a trip to the dealer was in order. I went to the dealer and the issue turned out not to be what Firestone diagnosed (a bad fan relay or cooling fan module) at all but was rather a cracked radiator and sticking thermostat. So after spending $70 for a mis-diagnosis at Firestone, I had a $700 repair bill from the dealer. So I paid for a diagnosis that turned out completely wrong. read more

This review is based solely on the poor customer service of Assistant Mgr. Kelli. Long story short, a free oil change cost me 270.00! I called tonight (10/9/17) and had the unfortunate luck of speaking with Kelli. I received a free oil change back in July due to a previous incident that I had at this location and Kelli was the one that assisted me then. When the oil change was done, the service tech put a cracked oil filter on my car and my car has been leaking oil since July. I called to request information on what needed to be done to rectify the issue and things went left immediately with Kelli. Rather than offering any valuable assistance, he wasted time defending his shop and staff while yelling at me the entire time! I asked him several times to lower his tone and was only met by dither yelling. He even had the audacity to hang up on me. In what world is it okay for someone in the customer service industry to hang up on a customer?? I even asked him repeatedly for the general manager and corporate information and he flat out refused to provide me with the requested information. Kelli should be highly ashamed of the way he talked to me and let alone that I am a female. In my opinion Kelli is totally undeserving of the title Manager and should seek a job out where he can better vent his frustrations and aggression. Working at firestone is not the place to do it. He is a horrible individual and should be stripped of his management title! I would also like to mention that after my horrible experience with Kelli, I called another location for the regional managers information and the service manager was completely baffled by how horrible Kelli was and 100 percent agreed with the fact that a cracked filter could go unnoticed by not only the staff during placement, but the customer for as long as it did. read more

We were heading to the beach for a family vacation and got a flat tire. They fixed our tire with a new valve stem for $10!! Who charges $10 to fix a tire and put back on the car??? The were so polite and took care of us like we came here all the time!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!! read more

This review is for our experience at Firestone on 6 April 2014. What words can express total satisfaction? Let me explain the nightmare we endured first so that you can truly appreciate what Firestone did for us. Traveling from Florida to Massachusetts, our rear tire began to shred right at sunset just ten minutes outside of Elkton Maryland due to the horrific (and deadly) condition of I-95 from Washington DC and northward. The potholes were so huge that several times the under carriage of our car slammed against the ground. By the grace of God it so happened that we had planned to stop in Elkton for the night. The next morning we realized with great dismay that our tire was trashed and we were pretty much in the middle of nowhere - on a Sunday - and had to be at our destination the next morning for work-related reasons! We had timed the trip so that we could get through the terrifying George Washington Bridge and Cross-Bronx Expressway before nightfall so that we wouldn't have to battle the murderous commuters during the Monday rush. (Personally, I think the governors of New York and New Jersey should spend a day in prison for each and every pothole until it is fixed - what are they spending the toll money on, anyway?!). Neither I, or my travel companion, am very knowledgeable about cars (if you've ever seen the TV show FRASIER - imagine Frasier and his brother Niles with a broken car 2000 miles from home, and that's us!). What made the problem even more complicated is that our car uses special (and painfully expensive) "run flat" tires that allows us to travel for a limited time up to 50mph on a flat tire. On top of that, the front tires are not interchangeable with the rear tires. The first thing we did was PRAY! Then we did the only thing we could think of, and that was to call AAA to see if they had any advice for us, fully expecting to have to book our hotel room for another night. And that's when the miracles began. Not only was there a full service Firestone literally just around the corner, not only were they open all day on Sundays, and not only did they happen to have a single rear run flat tire in stock, but they were also able to see us immediately. And though there were two people ahead of us (each of which were served promptly and courteously), our car was ready in less than an hour! The shop was spotlessly fresh and clean, and the staff was cheerful, friendly and kind to us! We were so stunned by the level of competency and courtesy that we had to actually ask if they were sure that they were really finished. And they were. Even the people who posted negative reviews even say how friendly they are. (Stars are suppose to rate the service RECEIVED - you are not supposed to give low star ratings just because they don't have something you want. That is NOT bad SERVICE) The sign over the garage door of the store was a quote from Henry Firestone, which caught my attention. It said, "I believe Fundamental Honesty is the KEYstone of business". If he were still alive today I would dare to correct him and say that the evidence proves that Fundamental Honesty is the FIREstone of business. read more
