What seemed to me to distinguish it from the competition is Sunday hours, so that a flat might be fixed on a weekend. I found the call center very knowledgeable about discount offers (Continental tires in this case). I arrived at the appointed time, and the work was done right away. The stud retorquing was also done right away when I showed up. The manager recommended that when I get tire rotations, to balance only the two wheels moved from rear to front. How did I never hear of that method before? I will check back in after rotation.

The tires have 13,000 miles on them since they were new. The shop refused to rotate the tires due to "wear" on the front tires. They would not perform the service and would only offer to sell her new tires stating that it is"illegal" for them to do the rotation. She called me when the salesman was trying to drop this line of bs to her and she took the vehicle back home after she wasted her afternoon scheduling the service a week in advance. The remaining tread is well within legal roadworthy mil spec and this is a classic pressure bait and switch for an upsell. It's one thing to offer or suggest but don't mandate it and refuse to perform the requested service. Shame on you mavis for trying to take advantage of a 19-year-old female trying to get things done herself and even worse that it's my daughter.

A brake line they fabricated blew and almost caused an accident when the pedal went to the floor so I had it towed back there. They wanted to charge for the tow until I reminded them it was warranty ahd a liability issue. They fixed the line and said it would be another $750 IF they could find the part. I told them to forget it, bought a rebuilt part on the internet and took it to Ronnie. He replaced the other wheel hub that Pep Boys said was fine after they replaced the speed sensor TWICE and put the module on that I ordered. Articles all over the internet, DON'T replace the wheel speed sensors, replace the whole hub if you want it to work! After Ronnie was done with it, no brake light, no ABS light, no sickening feeling when the ABS kicks on inappropriately on hard dry pavement and kills the brakes unexpectedly. Ronnie has my business for life!!!

My husband, a long time customer, was there Saturday....he had an interaction with the acting manager Mark that resulted in him telling my husband not to interrupt him. I called there that afternoon to speak to his supervisor...when Mark got on the phone to tell me he was the manager...I asked who the owner was...he stated I do not have to tell you and proceeded to hang up on me. Today the owner called my husband to smooth it over with a free oil change...my husband stated he'd simply like an apology nothing free. The owner called him back to say he felt he could not ask his employee to do that. In an age of social media and support local you would think customer service would be a priority . If an employee treats a customer poorly it's a sad sad state of affairs when the owner cannot get an employee to make things right with a customer. Perhaps THIS is why Mark thinks it's acceptable to disrespect a customer in person and via a phone call. Without a doubt, they are who you should turn to when anything on our vehicles has a "boo-boo". They are the preeminent supplier of tires for fleets, tune-ups (for Newark & Dover Delaware & Salisbury Maryland), and any suspension issues like caster, camber, toe angles. They are experts in CV joints, axles, drive trains, wheel bearings, brakes, etc. For example: I needed a tire for my girl friend's GMC Envoy. They checked it and said the other side was pretty worn so I looked and agreed. They suggested putting the new tires on the rear (and patiently explained the science to do so). Looking at my rear tires, we discovered that they also were worn beyond all hope. I decided to get 4 new tires (at a price I anticipated for just 2). I left while they were in process and shortly got a call from Tom the Newark manager. He asked if I wanted to go through with the purchase given that there were so many issues needing attending to (there's integrity). The list included rear seal motor leakage, front seal leakage, front wheel differential leakage (in both the left side and the rear), driver side front tire CV joint boot ruptured and axel bearing shot, pitman arm and idler arm loose/worn Mounting Brackets, Bushings, Bolts and Nuts, Washers, and Spacers (for proper alignment gaps), and a host of other suspension issues. Immediately listed the issues and sold the vehicle. I am a super satisfied customer of many vehicles. Note: I live in a very hilly area in Landenberg and use 4-wheel in the winter. Never had an issue getting through for decades now with the incredible grip/wear tread of the many sets of tires for the many different vehicles I have owned (and my dear sweet wife when she was here on this planet).
