Obviously they train their employees in exceptional customer service and integrity. The evening before Thankgiving my battery died. I went to Autozone to get another battery. The wonderful young man helping me Caleb was so honest. He told me that my battery was from another competitor and that I should go there to see if the battery was under warranty. I was actually disappointed to not be able to give AutoZone my service. When I called the competitor and learned the battery wasn't covered I felt almost happy. Lol. I went back into the store and bought a new battery from AutoZone! Caleb loaned me the tools and helped me install the new one with ease. I was so grateful. This isn't the first time I have encountered this young man and his incredible customer service and helpfulness. Every time I've had a question or needed some assistance this store and either Caleb or another great employee has come to my aid with honesty and superior professionalism. You just don't see this behavior from stores anymore these days. So kudos to you AutoZone Ave. L, Lancaster CA store.

I stopped in today looking to get oil and filters for two different vehicles, a SUV and a motorcycle, but ended up leaving empty handed, and came close to earning myself a court case. The assistant manager there was rude, condescending and very unknowledgeable. There was a time when, and if you went into AutoZone, and the advertised special was out of stock, they would at least substitute a Fram brand of whatever, or some other house brand, and allow the customer to go on their merry way. This dude, however, wanted to act like a %#$&@, and be disrespectful. Fortunately for him, I finished my probation, completed my court ordered anger management courses, and decided to pull my debit card out of the terminal and go home before I did something that would have altered both our futures. I hereby swear, I will NEVER set foot in an AutoZone store ever again. Judging from all the 2 and 3 star averages for nearly every AutoZone in the Antelope Valley, I am not the only person who feels this way. I can't wait for them to go bankrupt like Blockbuster did when they too thought they had the market cornered and could treat their customers like crap. Then Netflix came along and demolished them. One day soon, somebody is going to create a website that can keep track of a customer's car and maintenance schedule and automatically send out tune up kits and fast shipping for one-off items, straight to their door. At which time the days of dealing with A-holes behind a counter who think they can talk to you in any kind of way will be over.

A lady from far in back that was one of the original 6 came to assist. Yes this store has 7 employees and our line got up to four customers before anyone broke up convo to help. On 2/11/2025 I went to AutoZone On Ave N and 50th Street West. I arrived around 615pm . My car…read morebattery died and I assumed I needed a new one. I was greeted and assisted by Kyle . I initially asked for a battery test. Unfortunately because it was already dark outside. I was told store policy because there is only currently two store employees they are unable to go outside to assist customers, I would need to return in the morning. I needed to either purchase a new battery or figure out why my car wouldn't start. Kyle suggested l'd go to AutoZone off of 10th Street West since they are a larger store. I asked if he could call to make sure. He called and spoke to Dana who verified they able to do a battery test or if needed install a new battery. Kyle also assisted me in checking to see if my battery was still under warranty and took the time to explain others things I had questions to. When I arrived to AutoZone off of 10th Street West , Andre assisted me. He did a battery test. It appeared the battery was good. I explained to Andre what was going on with the car. He asked me to turn on the car and will do further testing . Everything looked good. I ended up purchasing only a battery for my FOB. Andre took to time to search what battery I needed and even changed the battery for me. I appreciate both employees taking the time to listen and explain and also do the best in trying to help me out. I will definitely be returning to both stores for future purchases.
