Went in with my 2022 Corvette did Jiffy lubes in cord. Hills on 50th street. I wanted to get my oil changed the man said, we gotta scan it. I said, fine, he come back. He said it would be $300 to change my oil. Just because I own a Corvette, I guess I don't know, but I'm giving them a one rating, because I've had more oil change before. It was never over a 100. And $50, that is a total rip-off. I would not recommend Jiffy Lube. In cords hill, it's like they see you coming. I guess they think because I have a nice car. They want to overcharge me. read more

Came in for an oil change in my 98 expedition Friday may 9th (finished at 10:00 am)but didn't stand and watch like I usually do (new puppy who's a bit of a handful) I've been here a half dozen times in 3 vehicles no big deal. At the end the guy pulled the. "Forgot to tell you you didn't have an oil cap when you came in." I drove more than 120 miles the day before. It's been 1k miles or more since I've had the hood open. If I did that with no oil cap my engine bay would be literally covered in oil. They pointed at some old grease on the valve cover and tried to say that was from the cap not being there. Truck made it 348 thousand miles with the original oil cap but just happened to not have it before going into a jiffy lube. And you just happened to not notice before starting the service? Seems like a thing that would come up immediately. You dropped the cap It happens l get it, but telling me it just wasn't there can't have happened. I asked to see the cameras and the manager came out and ordered a new cap while the guys looked under the hood, never saw the camera footage. Not gonna come back. Not gonna let anyone else in my circle come back either. Which is a shame cause it is a convenient location and I like the manager he's a good guy and made it right. But I don't think I can trust the techs with my cars anymore. If they can't be trusted they can't be trusted. And it's safety stuff, if they hold a grudge or touch something it could be bad. The exact same thing happened to a buddy of mine up in the Bay Area one time. 5 miles down the road from jiffy lube his whole engine bay was smoking from the wind across the filler cap hole pulling the oil out and spraying it across the engine. The airflow across the engine is no joke, and air flow across an open hole creates a vacuum that pulls oil off the top end. Might just be time to handle my new engine service on my rigs. I'm bummed out because I really dig the place and the vibe I'm a sucker for AC and free coffee, and the manager has always been on the up and up. Anyway It is what it is. Went to get an air intake hose fixed in the evening around 4:30 and was glad to hear that they could do it for me before they closed. Went to get my brakes and oil changed, took about 45ish minutes for the oil and about a hour and a half for the brakes on a different day since they had to order the Mercedes brake pads. They use OEM parts (original) for your vehicle. I paid around 120 for the oil change and filter and 300 for the brakes. Labor was about 70. Car felt smoother overall after all and no problems with the car. Total about 500+ with tax. I recommend this place. read more

I stopped by Jiffy Lube yesterday afternoon for an oil change and was greeted by a nice employee who told me it would probably be an hour and a half wait and I was OK with that cause I had no plans. So my daughter and I left our car and went to eat. 30 minutes later I got a phone call that it was ready. The gentleman on the phone was very thorough in going through everything they did. When I returned to pick up my truck it was an easy transaction to pay, I received everything they did in writing and then I went out and spoke to the guy that worked on my truck. There he again explained everything very thorough to me and even showed me a couple things. This wasn't my first time at this location, I've been here many times in the past. Their prices are competitive, and their inspection and explanation of their findings of the inspection are very thorough. I forget how fast of a visit it can be for quality parts and work. I had an oil change on my visit and it was found I needed new front brakes. I went home, called about half a dozen places and found that the Jiffy Lube brake pad replacement price was very competitive. They are pretty much on a first come first serve basis, and I was in and out of there in less than 45 minutes. Time is money, and other shops quoted brakes taking up to half a day even with an appointment. On this particular day, I brought two of my vehicles in for an oil change, and the one brake job. Total time spent in shop for both vehicles was less than two hours! Need I say more?!! read more

So far so good! However, had to stay there for an hour plus another hour Had four new set of tires delivered there by Simple Tires as they're the nearest tire servicing near my residence. Tires came in three days earlier than expected which is great. Called them up early this morning to inform them that I can have tire replaced today, it was a first come first serve basis which is good as I live 1.4miles away. Staff were nice and friendly, had to wait an hour the manager did mention to me. Did not know they had a customer waiting area in their facility, they did not offer to have me wait inside. It's a cold and windy day today. Anyway. Took them less than an hour to remove the old tires, replace, balance and all was set. Drove almost a mile away after tire pressure notification was still lit. I did perform a reset which indicated all four tires were under inflated. Also. Noticed that three of the tires were installed incorrectly, tires indicates 'inside' were actually outside, though one was correctly installed. Turned back and informed them of the problem. I did explain that this will cause confusion to the techs that will perform tire rotation in six months as three of the tires were installed as 'inside' where the 'outside' was inside. Then I told them that they had to redo the balancing once more as the changes they were about to make will render the wheels out of balance. So, I waited another 45-55mins for them to correct the initial error. Could have done something else with that lost extra hour Anyway, as for the manager and staff, I would advise that they refer to their operating manual and perform up to their standards of service and technical aspects of the job they're doing. Customer service wise, staff were accommodating and friendly. Customers just needs to be informed regarding the facility, that they have a waiting room for customers. I go home and find that my truck is leaking transmission fluid my truck never leaked before I just got it from the dealership, I had to take it back to the dealership. Jiffy Lube Quartz Hill puts Moms and kids in danger. The AOL (yes seriously) email address the "owner" responds to yelp reviews with is fake and he doesn't follow up. I'm a single Mom. I was out of work for a week because I had no car. Jiffy lube Quartz Hill refused to pay the $962 to repair the part they knowingly broke and never told me about. They also tried to cover up the break with glue. The district manager hung up on me and said no one would believe me. This is the worst service and customer service I've ever experienced. Absolutely no resolution from Jiffy Lube or this location. I had to raise funds to get my car back. Pretty disgusting business practice. Now that I am doing it myself, I discovered this Joffy Lube location used the incorrect oil filter, cross-threaded then destroyed my oil tank plug, tied to up-sell me a cabin air filter on a car that doesn't have a cabin oil filter, and to top it all off, they didn't even bother to close my hood - I found out that while driving down the highway. On 3/8/22, I made the mistake of bringing my 2018 Ford Explorer to Jiffy Lube Quartz Hill for a synthetic oil change and to have my fluids checked. Everything seemed normal. Soon, Edgar brought my cabin air filter and engine air filter inside to show me that they needed to be changed. Yes, they were a little dirty. He quoted me prices that I thought were too high. I declined. He informed me that my transmission fluid and spark plugs were overdue to be changed. Again, he quoted prices I thought were too high. I declined. I have an aversion to up-sales. The next day I called my Ford Dealer Representative to schedule the services. She informed me that these were not overdue at all. In fact, I still had at least 40,000 miles to go before the next scheduled maintenance. Thanks, Jiffy Lube Quartz Hill. I then went to the carwash (usually every other day) and when I wiped down the front end, I noticed a 10" square of grime/grease on the front quarter panel. This is an all white/black trim SUV. Not good. I was able to remove it all with some effort. I then proceeded to the auto parts store to purchase my filters. All good. I watched a YouTube video on replacing the cabin filter. All good. I opened the glove compartment (cabin air filter is behind it) and first noticed that the damper cord was not attached. Hmmm. It was evidently not reinstalled when they tried to upsale me. Thus, the glove compartment lid just flopped around when opened. Hmmm. Next, I noticed the right hinge assembly was broken off. Hmmm. Not happy at this point. Clearly, someone was not excited when I declined to purchase the Jiffy Lube air filter. The truth is that I liked (or though I liked the service here). In fact, I brought my wife's vehicle in for a brake job in October 2021 right before her week-long trip to northern California. Upon return, we heard a clanging sound that we could not locate. After a lengthy inspection, I discovered that 2 caliper bolts were left out of the rear driver's side brake assembly or were just not tightened so that they vibrated out somewhere on the 1200 mile trip. I pray nobody was injured. I brought the vehicle back to Jiffy Lube Quartz Hill beyond upset. The manager profusely apologized and ensured me that they would correct the problem, provide a full refund, and that "the guy who did the job had been fired" shortly before. Never gave me a choice and wouldn't give me a choice. I was trying to tell him I've gone to jiffy lube many times, including the one in Palmdale, and i always get the same kind of oil change. He wouldn't give me a choice still and said I can go back to the Palmdale location because he didn't want me to come back complaining that my engine blew up, and I'm not in his system, is what he said. Ernie and Chris are the best! My Jeep was leaking a lot of oil when I was visiting a friend in the area and had a long drive back home (San Diego) later in the evening. I took it to Jiffy Lube and Ernie and Chris did everything possible to make sure it was fixed before I had to drive home, and that I would get home safe. The problem ended up being bigger than I imagined (radiator fitting was busted and leaking transmission fluid). They called around and went to AutoZone to pick up a part for me so I didn't have to get it towed. They installed the part for me, and I made it home safe! I am soooooo grateful that they were able to help me out!! Also, I was a mess and couldn't find my charger and Ernie let me borrow his charger since my phone was dead. They didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need and went the extra mile by noticing I was a vet. They shook my hand and said "thank you". Asked and called at Grease Monkey to help remove an oil filter. They do oil changes but you can't bring your own stuff. I told them I just needed my oil filter removed and replaced with the brand new oil filter which I already have and bought. They said no, BUT! I called your boy Jiffy Lube and they said that shit will be no problem, so I drove over, they solved my problem by removing my stuck oil filter and replaced it with the one I bought.
