The tl;dr version: Four stars for fast service and convenience, $90 for synthetic. You stay in your car. It's easy. No upsell for anything extra. Details: $90 seems about the average price for full synthetic. They are fast (three guys working at once) and apparently a family owned business which is great because sadly, big companies are crowding out family businesses of all types, if you care about that (I happen to.) My car is newer, so it has a maintenance computer that keeps track of oil changes. The controls for the maintenance log are on the steering wheel. Rather suddenly, one mechanic leans into the driver's side window and takes charge of the maintenance button on the steering wheel to check the oil change history and then reset it. He comments it's overdue and says "that's not good." I feel judged but whatever, car guys are gonna be that way. He doesn't know the circumstances behind someone bringing in a vehicle that missed an oil change cycle, he's just saying that's not good maintenance. Fair enough, it's not therapy. Note for first-timers: It's a small two bay shop and the building is not obvious; looks rough. But if you live nearby or are going through the area and realize you need an oil change, I recommend them. read more

Love this shop! My second time here. I've been to and called a few other places and have paid $90 for generic brand synthetic oil. For the price that I paid ($77), you get crap oil. At oil rite, I paid $77 for synthetic Mobil 1 oil. Not only that, they are super quick and efficient. I'm in and out (while in my car) in like 7 minutes if I'm the only customer. They can get busy so I recommend calling and asking if there's a wait. If they don't answer, they're usually busy. But when I call and they say there's no wait, I drive over and I'm in and out! read more

I got my last oil change here because I had taken my last car here several years ago. This time, my oil was changed, easy peasy. Fast forward to now, I was ready for my oil change and I took it to my usual place (I had to come to oil rite because my usual spot was closed) My usual place tells me that oil rite put a honda cap on my jeep. so now my oil is leaking and I have to buy a new thing and why did they do that?? mine was just fine. not one peep about why they did that. When I say they took care of me! They did that! It was my first time. At the time on arrival they're were 2 cars pulled into the stale and I would be next either way. I never mentioned any other issues I was having ( engine light on and out of wiper fluid). As I was getting my old changed he checked everything list in the image I uploaded. ( tires, fluids, etc. ) I was given how much it would be before starting. I agreed to it and they got to work. It only took 20 minutes! I drove off happy as ever! No engine light on, windshield wiper fluid light was off, my car was driving and sounded great. I'm a happy customer and I'm definitely coming back. Highly recommend this place. If I could give zero stars I will. Never going here again. The past 3 times got my oil change have an issue with my car which is perfectly fine before I go. The last time got the issue fixed by my mechanic over a yr ago had no issues and then go back to oil rite and now same issue again. He said hate coincidence this is bullshit. I work in this industry so I understand things can happen but when happens 3xs not coincidence. They obviously are doing something and don't realize it. Then when he got down to run diagnostic smelled like pot. If you do that I don't care just dont do it when working especially on people cars. I will never again go here. I rather pay more money other places and know no issues with my car. My husband also will not be taking car back as well and while I was there another lady brought her car back becuz they obviously had an issue. Never again!!!! As a single mother of 2 money is tight, (as it is for everyone) so I've been putting off getting an oil change for FAAAAAAR TOO LONG. It came time that I could no longer ignore it and I HAD 2 get my oil change, and so I found this little drive thru, stay in your car shop. I AM SO GLAD I FOUND THEM. TRUST ME, U CANT BEAT THEIR PRICES & SERVICE! $42 (that included tax!!) for conventional oil (thats regular, non synthetic oil) on my 6 cylinder Jeep Liberty! They also checked & filled my tires. OK, so their shop isnt as pretty or shiny as Jiffy Lube, but thats ok! That means less UNNECESSARY overhead costs for them, & lower proces for u & i! I have been looking for an honest and reliable oil change shop since i moved from Santa Clarita and boy I'm glad i found this place. Upon arriving i was greeted by a gentleman who asked me a few questions and took care of me right away. They gave me a great price..85$ for OW-20 Mobil 1 oil change. The previous shop charged me around 100$. They cleaned my air filter with an air hose and checked my tires PSI, and even reset my maintenance light for me all while in my car. Am new to Lancaster, from Pasadena. Was referred to Oil Rite by a couple of recommendations from NextDoor. Thought I would give it a try. Pulled up and within 5 minutes they had me pull in. The staff were kind and respectful, I'm old and it's nice to be treaded good. The guy in the pit immediately got to work draining my oil and lubing, checking fluids and tires. The whole process took about 15 minutes. They even checked my wiper blades (it was raining). I highly recommend this business. Excellent service and didn't try to sell me things I didn't need or want. Just shy of $80. Not bad when dealers are charging $150 and up. Glad I took my NextDoor friend's advice. read more

Best place I have ever been for oil changed. Quick, honest, efficient, accurate and friendly service. I came in when they opened the shop at 8 AM Monday . Everything was done, paid via credit card tap & got out in just 16 minutes. Reasonable pricing. They will tell you before hand how much it will be & ask you if its OK in a friendly manner. Two of them work with extreme coordination not only to do oil change but also to check other parameters. Received a neatly printed out receipt displaying all the details of the work they performed. What a great find! Trusting the reviews of fellow Yelp users, we took our car for an oil change today. Yes, the place is more on the bare bones, utilitarian side, but don't let the building's appearance turn you away. After all, they change oil for a living, it's not supposed to be The Ritz. They've got two bays to do two cars, you drive your vehicle around and into one of the bays. Scott guided us into position immediately upon arrival (no line, no waiting today!) After checking the specs for our car's make/model, they began working. We stayed in our car as one fellow worked in the pit below our car and Scott checked and topped off our wiper fluid, took out and cleaned our air filter, and did other vehicle checks. We got premium motor oil, the synthetic Mobil 1 oil and it came to just $71.56 total. It took them probably less than 15-20 minutes for the entire process, super easy, very professional. We definitely recommend this business for anyone looking for a quality oil change at a reasonable price. read more
