Details: $90 seems about the average price for full synthetic. They are fast (three guys working at once) and apparently a family owned business which is great because sadly, big companies are crowding out family businesses of all types, if you care about that (I happen to.) My car is newer, so it has a maintenance computer that keeps track of oil changes. The controls for the maintenance log are on the steering wheel. Rather suddenly, one mechanic leans into the driver's side window and takes charge of the maintenance button on the steering wheel to check the oil change history and then reset it. He comments it's overdue and says "that's not good." I feel judged but whatever, car guys are gonna be that way. He doesn't know the circumstances behind someone bringing in a vehicle that missed an oil change cycle, he's just saying that's not good maintenance. Fair enough, it's not therapy. Note for first-timers: It's a small two bay shop and the building is not obvious; looks rough. But if you live nearby or are going through the area and realize you need an oil change, I recommend them.

At the end the guy pulled the. "Forgot to tell you you didn't have an oil cap when you came in." I drove more than 120 miles the day before. It's been 1k miles or more since I've had the hood open. If I did that with no oil cap my engine bay would be literally covered in oil. They pointed at some old grease on the valve cover and tried to say that was from the cap not being there. Truck made it 348 thousand miles with the original oil cap but just happened to not have it before going into a jiffy lube. And you just happened to not notice before starting the service? Seems like a thing that would come up immediately. You dropped the cap It happens l get it, but telling me it just wasn't there can't have happened. I asked to see the cameras and the manager came out and ordered a new cap while the guys looked under the hood, never saw the camera footage. Not gonna come back. Not gonna let anyone else in my circle come back either. Which is a shame cause it is a convenient location and I like the manager he's a good guy and made it right. But I don't think I can trust the techs with my cars anymore. If they can't be trusted they can't be trusted. And it's safety stuff, if they hold a grudge or touch something it could be bad. The exact same thing happened to a buddy of mine up in the Bay Area one time. 5 miles down the road from jiffy lube his whole engine bay was smoking from the wind across the filler cap hole pulling the oil out and spraying it across the engine. The airflow across the engine is no joke, and air flow across an open hole creates a vacuum that pulls oil off the top end. Might just be time to handle my new engine service on my rigs. I'm bummed out because I really dig the place and the vibe I'm a sucker for AC and free coffee, and the manager has always been on the up and up. Anyway It is what it is. I was experiencing some squeaking when I braked, so they offered a free consultation. They are operating out of a residential address at the moment, but were happy to guide me when I called to ask for clarification because I couldn't see any signage. During the consultation, they walked me through everything, explained how the brakes work and what could be causing the noise. I felt like I had a good understanding how what was going on. They ended up giving me a fair estimate so I went ahead with their service. Despite dropping off the car around 1pm the day before Thanksgiving, they gave me a call on Thanksgiving to let me know it was actually the rear brakes instead of the front so they'd need an extra day to get the parts because of the holiday. They called me around 1pm on Friday to pick it up. Brakes are now great and no squeaking! Paid about $380. Did notice about a $20 difference in hourly labor costs from the estimate at time of pay, but all good. Overall, Alberto and his son are fair and honest. I'd recommend them to anyone in the area!
