I just moved here from Vegas and I swear I CANNOT find good customer service out here anywhere. I came in and was immediately greeted by a cute chunky Hispanic guy with blonde hair. He was so easy to talk to giving me advice etc etc... Then my new favorite person Moises came over and answered a few questions. He was very knowledgeable, and after I explained my issues he came outside to double check, before suggesting anything to me. He also told me he liked my bubbly personality, and should apply at his store. I thought that was the ultimate compliment. They absolutely deserve 5 starts. My husband went there on the weekend and was helped by Manuel and Juan and said they were really nice and helpful and this morning I went there and was lucky enough to be assisted by Moses - yes, the one and only! He was so nice and so helpful - I appreciated it so much. I would think if anyone would deserve a tip, these people would, when they go out of their way to help you - but no, he wouldn't even accept that. I just want to at least recommend these people who are working so hard and also are friendly and not grumpy - I almost look forward to my car breaking down again.....almost!!!! Shame on Auto Zone!! I entered a packed store with a T-shirt over my nose and mouth for the purchase of one emergency item. The manager refused to serve me even tho I had cash in hand and my nose and mouth covered with tshirt. I told him to check the City if Lancaster's Website to verify that I was in compliance and he REFUSED!! Shame on Auto Zone for NOT knowing our Mayor's orders. Well here ya go Auto Zone... fight off the City Of Lancaster's website. You lost my business and that if my company!!!! You could have offered to bring the DEF that I needed badly outside but you kept your butt parked on a stool. SHAME ON YOU!!! Just left the store a few minutes ago, Bryce H. Is awesome from the time a walked in and as he rang me out he was friendly and attentive. I needed new wipers for my van. Not only was Katie helpful in picking out the correct ones, but she went out and put them on for me, too! Katie was very professional and friendly. Over two years ago I wrote a review about this store and Moises who is the manager there. It was glowing because he helped me out of a difficult situation with amazing customer service. Since then I bought a new car and a headlight went out. Didn't want to pay big bucks at a dealer or repair shop so I went back to the store that had made such a good impression on me. I was very happy to see Moises is still the manager there, and as expected he happily helped with finding the right bulb and put it in for me. The manager Jacob is terrible! I always have a problem with AUTO ZONE'S manager about these batteries! The manager needs more training! I waited 2 hours to tell me "the battery is no good!'" which is what I tried to tell y'all when I bought it! The situation was eventually resolved by jason...A PURE super hero! Recently bought my first car so quickly i became no stranger to auto zone. I had no previous problem coming here until my car started acting up. They check the battery and to my surprise it was no good so i purchased a new one and all was good! A couple of days later when i tried turning my car on it sound like it wouldnt start. I thought it was my starter so i took it to the shop where they checked my battery and said i needed a new one. THANK GOD when you purchace a battery it comes with a warranty. I went back and spoke with Angel i told him the situation and he immediately told me that the battery was fine and that the shop was wrong. I asked if he could check it and he was really reluctant and rude about it. Eventually he checked it and found it was a bad battery. He aplogized and gave me a new one and installed it himself. The situation was solved and i left happy minus the rude customers service. read more

Bought a battery a few years ago from Autozone. Went bad, which is kinda rare. Brought it back and they looked it over and gave me a new one. No questions. Worker even started dusting it make sure it looked perfect until I told him I don't even clean my truck. We had a laugh. Bottom line, they do stand up business. Rare in this day.
