Where do I begin to share with you my story, my experience with Meineke in Rock Hill, SC. To make…read morelong story short, in the past 18 months my life has ended in one fashion or another. Grieving the loss of my mother and many huge medical expenses of my own, I opted to take a Bucket List trip to Florida. Everything was fine after spending 8 days trying to learn how to be happy again and started home to West Virginia. This is a 14 hr journey one way and my 2015 Ford Escape with high mileage (evey mile put on with love) was running fine. When I pulled off for the evening hotel stop, my car was making whining whirling noise. The next morning I found Meineke Car Care Center located about 1/2 mile from my hotel. The reviews were great so I decided to put my trust in their hands, and OMG I am so very glad I did. I arrived at 7:30am when they opened and Mr Beaver introduced himself. I told him my dilemma of traveling and still over 6 hours to go and the noises my car was making. He assured me I was in good hands. They put my car on the rack to run diagnostics. When he explained my oil leak was major and back brakes needed fixed, I could just see the dollar signs spinning around. The bill caused me to panic and he quickly showed me how to get it financed so I could get the needed work done and back on the road. After 3 hrs and $1750 later I was ready to go. I pulled out and I could still hear the noises. So, they put it back on the rack. They found my throttle motor was blocked from grungy mess over 7 yrs of grime, daily use and Icky build up. He had his team clean it so it could operate properly. Still noise, so he ordered part and had it replaced. 1:30pm we are saying our goodbyes again. I drove my car to interstate and it was still screaming but louder and now dash lights on and it won't shift into gears. So back to shop again!! The team came to my car, what's wrong. I'm in full blown panic attack. Rick the head transmission mechanic came over, started driving it and they put back on rack. This time they drained my transmission fluid, ran a series of cleaners, three in all through my car and put 8 quarts back in process took 2 hrs. At the end, we shook hands, hugged, and I promised to call them back when home and assured me that they all was hoping it was totally fixed. The whole process was scary! Mr Beaver even checked my pulse and stress level with his watch. I was freaking out. My car got me home!! Runs great!! Pulled a 7 mile mountain grade at Fancy Gap Virginia like a new car!!! My 7 year old Ford with 281,965 miles runs like a new energetic baby!!! Thank you so much Meineke Car Center Team for taking care of me!!! Traveling is supposed to be fun, so added stress like car trouble is extremely overwhelming and they made it much easier. I highly recommend if you're in trouble, traveling or even just need a simple oil change.....Go here!! If I wasn't so far away, I would go there still today!!!

I asked if they had availability between 3:30p and 4:00p, and was told yes. I set an appointment for 3:30. When I arrived, I got seated and was seen too swiftly However, when I got ready to pay, I was told that the tire rotation was not done due to "tire tread being too low", which is funny considering I replaced these tires only last year. In the inspection photo provided, you can not see where the technician placed the depth pen. I was also told, when asking why the service only took ~25min when I was quoted 1hr on the phone call earlier that day, that the technician was told to "rush because he leaves at 4pm". One, this does not inspire confidence that my tires were properly measured, and I currently am under the assumption that it was skipped in order to prevent the tech from racking up overtime work and be able to clock out on time. Two, even if all the work was done properly, why would you allow a person to book an appointment 30minutes prior to the technician's clock out time for a job that'll take 1 hour to complete.z The technicians I spoke with were kind and quick to see to me, but for the actual work, I have questions concerning the quality of their work, especially on whether my tire rotation was not done due to actual issues with tire tread, or not done so the tech can go home on time

I went in for what should have been a simple oil change and battery replacement. Instead, I ended up having to spend $1,300 to repair my vehicle after my visit. After the new battery was installed, my dashboard displayed "Battery Saver Active." I immediately asked the employee about it because I was concerned. He told me it was normal and that the message would go away. Looking back, I feel like my concerns were dismissed instead of being taken seriously. It left me feeling as though I was being told anything because I'm a woman and wasn't expected to know much about cars. Not long afterward, while I was driving my grandmother to her chemotherapy appointment, my car suddenly shut off in the middle of the road. It would not restart, leaving us stranded during a very important medical trip. When I called the store to explain what had happened, the manager told me to bring the car back to them--as if he hadn't just heard me explain that the car had completely shut down and would not start. That response was incredibly frustrating and unhelpful. Based on my experience, I have no confidence in the quality of the work performed or the customer service I received. What should have been routine maintenance turned into an expensive and stressful ordeal. I cannot recommend this business.

In the morning I got a call from Gabe who had checked out the car. We discussed what kind of tire I wanted and they went to work. They ordered the new tire, so Gabe called me back to inform me that it would be late afternoon until the job was finished and, that he had checked the wheel of the blowout and said it was all fine.
