They said it was the thermostat which we had suspected, paid them to replace it and they sent us on our way. The day after we had gotten the car back, it overheated on my daughter. We took it back and they said that it must've been a faulty thermostat and said they replaced it again and sent us on our way the second time. Again, it overheated. Took the vehicle into another shop and they confirmed a bad thermostat after we had already paid to have it replaced by Tim and gave him the vehicle 3 times to fix it. Tim then proceeded to tell us it wasn't the thermostat after all, we needed the water pump replaced. This is a newer Ford Explorer, not hard to diagnose, yet they somehow missed the "correct" diagnosis the few times. Bad mouthed the other shop. Tim also needs to understand that customers in his shop can overhear him cussing and badmouthing customers when he is on the phone. Will be contacting Better Business Bureau, but hoping to save others from this frustration and loss of money.

The mechanic at Family Tire Auto Pros listened with his stethoscope and told me the grinding, clinking sound was my transfer case. Scheduled my service at the end of June so they had enough time to order the transfer case. I was told it would take 4 days to install. Repeatedly called after the fourth day to check on the status, the repair still had NOT been started, But 'he' was getting around to it that afternoon. The next morning, I called to check on the Jeep and was told they ordered the wrong transfer case. It was going to be another week before the part came in, and it was going to cost MORE! Jeep sat in the Family Tire Auto Pros parking lot for a week. Finally, they put in the correct transfer case, maybe. They called me and said it was done. When I arrived, they drove the Jeep to the front of the shop. I could still hear the loud grinding, clicking sounds. It was not fixed!!! He was going to let me go home $1700 later without it being fixed. I was distraught. Immediately called 1 Stop Auto in Castle Rock and Skyler said it sounded more like the drive shafts than the transfer case. Drove my Jeep to Castle Rock with the ORIGINAL transfer case in tow. Skyler, at 1 Stop Auto spun a wheel on the transfer case (showed me how easy it was) and said, this was not the problem. My ORIGINAL transfer case was just fine. It was in fact my front and rear drive shafts that were causing the grinding and clinking sound. Had to take my Jeep back to Family Tire Auto Pros (ugh) to reinstall the ORINGINAL transfer case. Of course, then took another day for the re-install. On top of it all, I am still paying interest charges ($600+) on a refund that was issued. DO NOT USE Family Tire Auto Pros! It took 1 STOP Auto less than 3 days to custom order, cut and install my new drive shaft. Take your vehicle to 1 STOP Auto where they actually know what they are doing, a shop that can communicate and values their customers.

They quoted $800 and called back three minutes…read morelater and said, oh, I am sorry I did not realize that this vehicle was a V8 so it will be $1200. 8 hours later I had to call and ask if my truck was done. He said, well one of the spark plugs was cracked so we have to get a new one. picked up the truck and less then a day later the check engine light comes back on. Brought it back in and they said well "we figured it might be the coil packs." WHAT you are telling me for $1200 you replaced the spark plus and NOT the coil packs...interesting. Said, well can hook it up to the reader on Monday and see what the problem is...the problem was that the spark plugs needed changed along with the coil packs. Will NEVER recommend and will NEVER go back. Lack of customer service and experience. If you don't know how to fix a vehicle you should just say so!

I…read morehad a tire pressure sensor that wasn't functioning on my gladiator, due to a tire rotation between my spare and my right front tire that was done at the Jeep dealership at an inflated price. I was kind of sketched out by the local Jeep Dealership because of some other shenanigans. When I called Todd and told him about my situation, he said the easiest thing would be to just dismount both of the tires and take the pressure sensor off of the working tire and put it on the spare tire made right front tire. I do have some abnormal rims, they are the Icon Rebound Pros. They have a street legal bead-lock system that is pretty new to the market, but he had no issue dealing with that. He had me drop it off around noon the next day the work was done quick and the price was very reasonable. I look forward to taking all my cars back to this shop for the duration of my time living here.

The only downside is that they occasionally don't have some of our family's staple items in stock, which can be frustrating. We've also had repeated interactions with one employee in the apparel section who is pretty abrupt about customers looking through the display tables for different sizes. It definitely takes away from the shopping experience. Other than those two things, the store is clean, well-stocked most of the time, and the staff is generally friendly. We still enjoy shopping here and feel our membership has been well worth it for our family.
