Although Discount owns Tire Rack, they are completely disjointed when it comes to online orders, populating the customer account, and installing the tires. Huge disconnect as the systems don't integrate together and it took nearly 35 minutes to physically track down the tires in the shop, to then populate the tires into our profile and the. I made a 4:45pm appointment on Thursday for a tire check because my back tire had air leaking due to metal from a construction site. Colin welcomed me in and checked me into my appointment right away. He was very attentive to helping me resolve my car tire, but at the same time very friendly in making small talk. He told me about 40 minutes and my car would be ready. I got a notification that my car was done earlier and ready to be picked up. Colin informed me that they needed to replace my tire, but my warranty helped cover most of the cost and I was all set! For someone that has been a customer and spending thousands of $ for over 2 decades there is no reward for loyalty from Discount Tire. I had a nail in the tire, of course too close to the edge to plug, they ordered the new tire, I paid for it and they called me later in the day to let me know the tire was ready for replacement. I show up, they put me into a line queue and then finally get called after standing in line for 20 mins. and then tech asks if we can 'take a look' at the same tire the morning tech determined needed replacing. he goes through the ritual of measuring the tire tread... on a tire that was to be thrown away! I've already paid for the new tire that was delivered to the store. Come on guys, this is ridiculous! At the time of writing this I've been waiting for 2 1/2 hours and my vehicle hasn't even entered the bay. I could have done this all myself 2 hours ago. He considered it a teaching and mentoring moment for his team to prevent others from having the same experience I had. I am no longer recommending or using discount tire. If you own a Subaru I would suggest avoiding the Monument and Castle Rock locations. both locations have sheared off lugs while working on my vehicle. Monument 2x CR once. They claim Subaru lugs are easy to break. So instead of taking extra care, like hand threading and using a torque wrench to tighten them, they really don't care about the customers time and they use an impact wrench which easily cross threads the lug and breaks it off. This has happened the last 3 times I have been there. They don't seem to think it's an issue. They just give you a pre printed form to go to brakes plus to get it fixed. Each time at brakes plus I've waited 1:45-2:15 minutes for the repair, resulting in about 5-1/2 hours total. Their total disregard for my time is ridiculous and they really don't think it's a big deal. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The store manager at the Monument store made a claim with corporate. They sent me an email but never followed up even after I followed up with them three times.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I was a 30 year customer. So if you value your time and drive a Subaru, I would find a better company that cares about taking care of their customers. read more

These guys are the best at customer service and go above and beyond! I came in with a nail in my tire and low pressure. Turns out the wheel lock for my tires was at home, so they couldn't do anything until I got it. They had someone drive me to get the wheel lock so I didn't have to drive on my bad tire, and got everything all set up for me. After having a very bad blowout last year, I was a bit terrified at the thought of having another one so this meant a lot to me. WOW! I am beyond impressed by the quality of this tire shop. Everyone there was kind, smiling, and very welcoming to my family and dog (who was with us at the time).
