We took the car over a span of three days and the manager could never give a direct response to what the problem was. Picked it up for the last time today and he gave a run around answer about all the possibilities till | asked specifically what did he touch on the car to fix it, that it just didn't fix itself. His response, was oh it was just a relay. My friend kept trying to get a better understanding of what the ideal problem was and he kept repeating and starting saying that he was cutting her off that to not come back there no more which we will not be. Very poor management and seems to take advantage of women. At this time we still don't know of the problem is fixed. On their website, they have listed that they are a full service mechanic shop. That's not the case. This problem was above their ability and they should have recognized that from the start. Needless to say, this place is a fraud.

I spoke to Bo who was very polite and professional, took all the information and told me he would call me when they knew what the issues were. When they called me back later they informed me to fix the steering wheel would be a big job and I would have to come back for that but would do the other stuff for me. I needed better front tires, had my oil changed, they filled and checked the fluids, changed the wiper blades, replaced the brakes and rotors and did a tune up. They were very reasonably priced and were extremely honest, kind, polite and professional. I was extremely pleased. I brought the car back on Sept 11, to have the steering wheel fixed and they did a stellar job. Once again, these guys are phenomenal at what they do and are so, so kind and just really nice, so polite and professional. My car drove like a dream and made it home with no issues. On Saturday Sept 12, my daughters went to go from our home to shopping and when they stopped to get gas they heard a clinking sound and then the car started to make a scraping sound. My daughter freaked out and brought the car home. I called Sparx and spoke to Joseph and sent him a video with sound of the noise and he diagnosed it and told me to bring it in and said it was an easy fix. I brought it in and they fixed it within 30 minutes. No charge, no hassles, no worries just a bunch of great guys who do the best mechanic work I have found in years. They are very reasonably priced and when they give you a quote they hold to it. Imagine that??? I would give Bo, Joesph and the whole crew at Sparx Automotive located in Sherman Texas ten stars, maybe 20 ok 100. Honestly, I have not met an automotive place that has such honesty, integrity, fair prices, knowledge, politeness and just great bunch of guys in over 40 years. Yes guys I am an older person and a veteran and I hope you take this review seriously. I have lost thousands of dollars to bad mechanics over the years. I was told to go here for an alignment on my car. I made an appointment and was there for about 45…read moreminutes when the man who helped me at the front desk came back with an estimate on what needed to be done on my car. HERE IS WHERE THE ISSUE STARTED. He sat down and informed me that multiple things needed to be done on my car, and they needed to be done before I could get my alignment, including a NEW CV AXLE which I had just gotten done a month beforehand. If I would have never gotten my CV axles replaced before going in, I wouldn't have known they were trying to rip me off. I told the worker that I had just gotten my CV axles replaced, and he first questioned me on whether they were my CV axles that actually got replaced. Then, when I showed him my receipt, he went out to talk to the mechanic, and then CLAIMED THAT THEY DIDNT NEED TO BE REPLACED, and there was just oil on them, that's why he thought they needed to be replaced. A grown man, came and tried charging a 17 YEAR OLD WOMAN $500 DOLLARS TO REPLACE SOMETHING I HAD GOTTEN REPLACED THE MONTH BEFORE, and then goes to tell me he made a mistake, and it didn't need to be replaced. Enough said, the moral of the story is to either get a second opinion, or don't go to brakes plus. Below is an image of my receipt for the work I had gotten done, and a month later, told by brakes plus I needed the same work done, and then went back and said they made a mistake and I didn't need the work done because they made a mistake.

First Choice Auto and Tires is within 3 miles of my son's house, so I went there without and appt. to get an oil change and four tires mounted and balanced. I was greeted very friendly by a mechanic who I later learned was the manager of the shop. He asked me what they could do for me before I ever parked. I told him that I would like 4 tires mounted/balanced and he told me that a tire job was finishing up in one of the bays and that he'd get me right in after that. So I parked and followed him inside the office to complete the computer/paper work. My vehicle was pulled into the bay for the tire work within 10 minutes. Suddenly I remembered that I needed an oil change and asked the manager could they do that for me as well. He then proceeded to show me the various levels of oil change services but did not try to upsell me at all. My level of trust for this shop just went up to the max. So the manager then went outside and spoke to his staff and another tech began performing the oil change while two others worked on mounting/balancing the four tires. I really liked that all of the techs and manager had on the same uniform that looked fresh and clean. All three techs that worked on my car was extremely friendly and customer service oriented. I was very impressed by this shop. I was in/out in less than 45 minutes. I highly recommend this shop.
