First Choice Auto and Tires is within 3 miles of my son's house, so I went there without and appt. to get an oil change and four tires mounted and balanced. I was greeted very friendly by a mechanic who I later learned was the manager of the shop. He asked me what they could do for me before I ever parked. I told him that I would like 4 tires mounted/balanced and he told me that a tire job was finishing up in one of the bays and that he'd get me right in after that. So I parked and followed him inside the office to complete the computer/paper work. My vehicle was pulled into the bay for the tire work within 10 minutes. Suddenly I remembered that I needed an oil change and asked the manager could they do that for me as well. He then proceeded to show me the various levels of oil change services but did not try to upsell me at all. My level of trust for this shop just went up to the max. So the manager then went outside and spoke to his staff and another tech began performing the oil change while two others worked on mounting/balancing the four tires. I really liked that all of the techs and manager had on the same uniform that looked fresh and clean. All three techs that worked on my car was extremely friendly and customer service oriented. I was very impressed by this shop. I was in/out in less than 45 minutes. I highly recommend this shop.

Every time I come back; they say they forgot a specific item during the previous visit, even after I always double check with them prior to leaving the shop. I'm currently in need to return for my 9th visit for an item that was supposedly fixed 2 weeks ago, but now they stated they never actually fixed the problem properly, so they will if I bring it back one more time. They are very misleading about using new parts vs. remanufactured parts, their invoices say new on parts that are actually remanufactured. I discovered this after parts were already installed because one of the mechanics accidentally made the comment while looking at the truck. I was told the remanufactured parts would be swapped for new ones, and this never happened, I was lied to. I have multiple inspection reports and repair invoices that do not match, they mention needed repairs but don't show where they were ever actually completed, I only had this by word of mouth which is why I am now ensuring I get everything in writing from them.

It's plural because after he kept my car for 2.5 months, I still had to take it back and pay more for him to fix what they already 'fixed'. Was told he replaced the parts with OEM parts, but after taking it to another mechanic, it was discovered that he did not replace with OEM parts, but that is what we paid for. The mechanic also sent photos of cigarette butts under the intake manifold which only confirms the lack of respect his shop has for his customers vehicles. He supposedly has a 12 month warranty on parts and labor, which is stated on the invoice. Rightfully so, I absolutely DO NOT want that man to touch my car again. No one would after our experience. Well, he will not do the right thing and offer a warranty on the parts and refuses to reimburse for any of the labor...because "it's been 7 months." If my math is correct, that's less than 12. I can't afford for him to have my car that long again, just for it to not get fixed! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR THERE! Larry is extremely rude and unprofessional. He is horrible at communicating. You will have to keep calling to see if your car is ready. There's a reason he has 3.8 stars. I'm surprised they are that high. After I already dropped my car off, I was told I shouldn't have gone there. Others felt he is not trustworthy and he is unethical and lacks integrity. He sweet talks and makes promises and sounds like a super nice guy until you confront him with a problem HE caused. An hour later, I called him back and told him a towe truck was on its way but the shop he referred didn't know if they could fit me in. 5 minutes later, Wes showed up on the side of the highway to help me. He looked at the car and said he was going to go find the belt so he could fix it. He came back and said the belt needed was out of stock so it would be 2 hours before he could get it. Nonetheless, we took it to the shop he referred and 3 hours later we were back on the road. Wes going out of his way to help us, speaks volumes to his character. My wife and I were very thankful for his willingness to help. I wish he had a shop in KC, he would get all of my business!!

During this process, only the front brake lines were flushed, while the rear lines were not addressed. Additionally, air impact tools were used throughout the service, raising serious concerns about potential damage or stripped components beneath the vehicle. This was a rushed and substandard service for a job exceeding $300. There is a clear reason customers are not permitted to observe work being performed. Furthermore, a tire rotation could not be completed due to inoperable lifts or lifts occupied by nonfunctional vehicles. This reflects a broader lack of organization and professionalism. This will be my final visit to this facility.
