BEWARE: MANAGER ANIL IS A SCAM ARTIST!…read more Sort the reviews as oldest first and you will see a pattern. In one year, I wasted over $1800 on problems with ONE car before realizing that I was being conned. The red flag that should have sent me running: My old, high mileage Toyota Camry was leaking oil, so Midas replaced my oil pan. After a few months, I noticed oil spots on my driveway again, so I went back to Midas... *RED FLAG* ANIL, THE MANAGER, SAID THAT WHOEVER REPLACED THE OIL PAN DID NOT DO IT CORRECTLY! *RED FLAG* I let him continue his "explanation" and then gently reminded him that HIS SHOP was the one that fixed this, and then he offered to fix the work for free. This is when I should have RAN, but of course my car then began to have more problems, including SHUTTING OFF while driving at a slow speed on the highway. He convinced me that it was worth it to invest a couple of thousand in repairs because Camrys tend to run for a long time. He will show you the supposed bad parts that he has pulled from your car. He will walk you under the car and point out the supposed problems to you. He will offer you a loaner car, which is extremely convenient for people who work 9-5/M-F. He told me about how he INVESTS MONEY for some of his longtime customers, as if he was trying to pitch to me. RED FLAG! Several years ago, they sent emails and text messages asking for good reviews and promising $25 discounts on a future service. RED FLAG! Go somewhere else, or at least get a second opinion.

Don't worry if you haven't heard of M&N, because it probably closed over 20 years ago. Mike and Brian have been amazing ever since and I wouldn't trust my car to any other mechanic, period. There are really two main things that I find to be exceptional here and have earned my trust for as long as I'm driving cars or they're in business here. The first is that there is never any mystery about what's going on with your car, they are 100% transparent with everything they do. Secondly, they will do everything possible to limit your costs and only suggest service if it's absolutely necessary.

I came in for a groupon for synthetic oil change and tire rotation. I have wheel locks on my tires,…read morebefore going in for my appt i left the wheel lock key on the passenger seat. I was outside on a phone call when one of the guys came to the front and took my car around the corner. I don't mind my car being driven fast, apparently neither did the mechanic as he peeled it off the parking lot to take my car around the block to the back. I go to wait in the waiting area and after a bit the person in the front asks me for my wheel lock key. I reminded him I put it on the passenger seat. They couldn't find it. I let him know about the mechanic that took off speeding in my car, possibly that action made the key fly off the seat. They eventually located the key...I had to go help look, it was under the driver seat, under the mat. How crazy was this person driving my car that it flew from the passenger seat to where they found it. They completed what I showed up for so for that im grateful but the heart attack i had when they couldn't find my key was unnecessary. Maybe slow down so you're not losing wheel lock keys for your clients. Other than that, the gentleman in the front was very nice.

The first thing he says to me is "It's 10:06, you must be new, my regulars are never late." This rubbed me the wrong way as a first impression, he then seemed to have an attitude with me from then on. He told me to leave the keys in the car and he would get to it quickly, which he did. My kids took the key from the car so I quickly went to give it to him, again he had an attitude. I said "I have a feeling you are upset with me or something, is there a problem?" He stated in a rude tone, "I just don't feel good today but I am forced to be here." I said "I'm sorry, but I'm still not feeling as though I am receiving good service." He said "I told you I don't feel good" I asked for the manager, he said he was the owner. My thoughts are, everyone has bad days and sick days, even if you are owner.. you don't have the right to treat people this way. I felt extremely disrespected and questioned if it was racism because I am a young woman of color with visible tattoos. He was not warm and friendly at all, I ended up telling him I didn't feel comfortable spending my money with his business. I didn't feel welcomed or appreciated as a customer and did not trust him with my vehicle. Note to the owner, respect your customers. They fund your business and life.

They even have special discounts for my fam I only had them swap tires of my truck with snow tires. They took about 5 hours and did an excellent job balancing and installing the tires. My truck is loud! Great job guys!

On November 29, 2025, I brought my vehicle to the Midas Auto Care Center located at 2151 N…read more Bloomingdale Road, Glendale Heights, Illinois. I have been a customer of this location for many years. I asked for the brakes to be checked and ultimately paid for the replacement of the front and rear disc brake pads, as well as front and rear caliper slide service. On August 3, 2026, I noticed an issue with the car's brakes. As I was not near the Midas location I had a different mechanic look at the brakes. The mechanic showed me the rear brake pads. These pads were worn down to literally nothing. With only 12,000 miles of use on the pads it was as if the pads were not replaced back in November of 2025. The front pads showed normal wear for 12,000 miles. I brought this matter to the manager (Tom Weber's) attention on August 5, 2026. I requested a refund for the original amount paid for the rear pads. Rather than addressing the substance of my concern, I was questioned about whether I had somehow switched the brake pads from another vehicle. I found this response inappropriate, particularly given that I had been a longstanding customer of the shop. The matter was brought to the owner's attention. I provided photos of the four rear brake pads which were questioned by the owner as being illegitimate. The owner did finally agree to refund the cost of the pads only, and not the cost of the caliper slide service. However, he followed up shortly thereafter with a text refusing the refund and stating that that I was scamming him. I want to be clear that I did not attempt to scam or mislead anyone. I raised a legitimate concern regarding a service for which I paid and which based on the condition of the vehicle when the rear pads were inspected in August appears to not have been performed. I am requesting that Midas review the original November 29, 2025 work order, the parts and labor charged, and the circumstances surrounding the rear brake pad replacement. I am also requesting reimbursement for the rear brake pad service.

Timo is the man!! My car had been giving me trouble for about two weeks before a friend recommended…read moreTimo's auto repair for all my car needs. My friend also has a foreign car like myself and said that Timo's wonderful team of professionals are experts for all types of vehicles but with a slight specialization in foreign cars. It's very hard for me to just trust any mechanic with my car just because that's my baby and I always feel like no one will take care or love my vehicle like I will. Although it was a long ride from my home, the car ride was worth it as soon as I met Timo. He immediately diagnosed my car and said I needed to replace/fix my MAP Pressure sensor, thermostat, water pump and sway bar link. Imagine all the dollar signs that flashes before my eyes! Just kidding, he was actually very reasonably priced. Timo also sat down with me and explained the cost of each part to repair and also how much the labor would cost. He also advised me to compare prices but as I previously mentioned, peace of mind is very important to me and knowing that my car is in good and trustworthy hands, I decided to just go ahead and have him repair my vehicle. I really appreciated that he told me right away what was wrong, no beating around the bush and saying it might be this or it might be that, as previous mechanics have advised me. Due to the fact that my car is a BMW, Timo told me in advance that it may take about a week to repair my car because he needed to order specific parts that not every parts shop has. Timo sent me status updates here and there and most importantly, he answered his phone when I called him! A week later, I got my car back and it drives like brand new and I couldnt ask for a more reasonable price! Two weeks after my repair, I was involved in a car accident and my car was towed to Timo's for repairs yet again. Timo's team looked at the damage on my car, sent an estimate of repair to my insurance and kept me posted on the status of my car at all times. This time the exterior of the car was significantly impacted and some damage to the engine but Timo worked very diligently to get it repaired as quickly as possible. He kept in touch with the insurance companies in regards to the estimate of repairs so that I didn't have to. Honestly, this was such a relief because I didn't have to go back and forth between the two. Due to the fact that insurance companies were involved and specific foreign parts had to be ordered, it took about two weeks for my car to be fixed. However, I went into the repair process knowing that it would take longer this time around since payment for the repairs wasn't not dependent on me but the insurance company. For all your car needs, regardless if it's an American or foreign car- Timo's team of trained professionals is your one stop shop for all your car neeeds. He has over 15 years of experience in high end service and knows exactly what hes doing. Would recommend Timo and his entire staff for all your automotive needs!
