I said, I don't mind you asking me how I'm doing and I don't mind telling you that but I do mind you asking me what my name is, if I wanted to share I would. Then they said "well, I'm just asking because if you purchased something, we do require your name for a receipt". So, I said " Ok. Thank you for letting me know your policy but I don't think I will shop here" and left. I wanted to buy locally but did not feel comfortable shopping there. By the way, there was nobody in the store and it appeared that the back room was dark; it just kind of gave me the creeps.

Owner Nancy is so friendly and accommodating, and employee Sandy are some of the nicest people you will meet. When I am shopping at Strive I feel like I am in a posh and high end shop in San Francisco without the gigantic prices. And a lot of the sections are completely picked over and have totally empty shelves. It's very, very weird and I keep waiting for it to be resolved yet it just seems like this location is not a priority for Burlington. Perhaps they put more effort and merchandise solely into the Montgomery and San Mateo location and just keep this as a back up location.
