During this pandemic, I have barely ventured out. I've done what a lot of people have done and learned to make what they yearned. Unfortunately for me, a good sandwich is nothing I learned to make. Why? Because although I DID learn to make bread, I did not learn to make good bread. That brings me to my next point... Wallington Deli has the most amazing bread in... ALL OF NEW JERSEY. Possibly the tri-state area. Possibly the world! Yeah, bold claim, I know. I stand by it. When I first saw the bread I was kind of like errr, man I don't know. It looked pale and dusty but when I bit into it, it was magical, warm and crusty. I have ordered their cheesesteak, chicken parm and roast beef sandwiches and the bread they use is incredible. I'm pretty sure they bake their own bread which is amazing in itself but it is the qualities of the bread that knock it out of the park. It's tasty, crusty, and soft on the inside. It's always warm and tastes like it was made with love. It is the kind of bread that reminds us how to enjoy the little things in life while also reminding us why the little things are so important to enjoy. Eating their bread alone warrants 5 stars but their sandwiches are so tasty too! I haven't had anything I didn't like. Their service is great too! Looks can be deceiving and don't be fooled by the appearance of the restaurant. This place makes the most amazing sandwiches I have ever had in my entire life. The bread and mozzarella alone make this place spectacular. The quality of the sandwiches blow Annabella's or Matera's out of the water. I don't think I would ever order a sandwich from Annabella's or Materas after trying this place. Not only are the sandwiches extremely fresh, flavorful and high-quality; the service is great as well. Fantastic is just one of the many words I could describe this deli. The ciabatta bread is always the gold of this place, not many delis choose to use ciabatta bread with almost everything but I'm happy wallington deli does. I tried the vodka parm from this place, it is terrific from the mozzarella to the perfectly cooked chicken cutlet and then the amazing vodka sauce, this has to be the best menu on their menu. Finally got a chance to pop in here for some take out. Two sandwiches one turkey with the works no cheese and another which was referred to as a drunken chicken Parmesan sandwich. Wow! The chicken was thin cut thoroughly breaded and cooked to perfection. The sauce was so dam tasty not to mention the fresh "mozzarella" and the bread, well, the bread lovingly encapsulated the entire experience. Honestly not a religious experience but certainly one for my taste buds. My wife was equally pleased with her turkey sandwich and really enjoyed the bread. Good job. read more

It is a grilled chicken breast and a nice size chicken breast with balsamic vinaigrette and roasted red peppers.
