Waller County paint and body was a third party contractor used by my AAA service. I used them for towing services. I inquired how much I owed after they towed my vehicle, on day of service. I was told by the driver that I didn't owe anything. I get a call from the driver 5 days later saying that I owed money. I was understanding to the fact that my AAA coverage didn't cover the whole service and advised the driver that I was at work and would get it squared away by the end of the day. I gathered the amount and contact information for who I needed to reach out to. Here's when things went in the wrong direction. I got multiple phone calls from various numbers, multiple text messages and a voicemail with them stating that they are looking for my car and plan on repossessing it due to non payment. The level of harassment and unprofessionalism is not acceptable. To top it off when I call back to question them on their of mafia style tactics,and threats instead of being met with an apology they claim to be another company. To be clear this was never a problem and the day I was told about this responsibility was the same day this all occurred. The $120 was paid, but this was disgraceful. read more

Do not go here at all wish I could give them a 0 star, brought my car in over a month ago for body and paint repairs and they gave me a quote saying it was for the "cheaper" part then gave me three dates my car would be done. They did absolutely nothing my car sat there like it was in a junk yard for over a month just for them to tell me they can't find the parts and need to up charge me for the "new" parts. they never know what the hell they talking about and can't even give you a direct answer. Instead of keeping me updated on my car they just let my baby sit there behind 50 other cars. They are horrible and do not need to be in busines. read more

Where do I start? It took 1/2 a year to get the repairs done on my American made vehicle. Poor communication over the phone and in person. I have to assume since they get the business of most of the official vehicles in the local area, they feel they don't have to do right by the rest of their customers. I have had to use their towing service a couple of times. I just wanted to say both times the drivers were quick to arrive. Different drivers each time and they both were very polite, friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. Should you ever need a tow I highly recommend them. Which says a lot because typically I cannot stand wrecker drives. Should I ever need another tow I will most definitely contact Waller County Paint & Body first. Needed roadside assistance for my vehicle less than 2.5 miles away from my house gentleman named Tonnie pulled over and offered to help when I asked him how much he said $65 I explain to him that another tow was on its way and he was only charging me 55 if he could do it for 55. He went ahead and got in his vehicle and started to hitch up my vehicle to me that meant yes to $55 when he gets to my house he's charging me 65 and and threatening to take my vehicle if I don't give him the extra $10 overall I feel robbed and I would not trust this place absolutely no morals read more

My girlfriend call AAA for roadside assistance a little after midnight they said Waller County P&B be out at 1:15am at 2:30am she called again AAA said they could not reach them that they would have dispatch call the driver directly for a response at 4:00am she call AAA again they reached them but they weren't sure when they be out they gave her a different service provider that arrived within 30 minutes !!!!! read more

Been to this place three times - the women at the front are ridiculously rude. They don't acknowledge you when you're standing at the counter. They just keep doing what they're doing. The one even took a personal call before helping me. Each of the three times they acted like there would be a problem getting the work done - always a negative response. They just act like they're doing you a favor. It's just weird. PS: they keep their back to you most of the time and I keep overhearing them being confrontational with other customers. Worst possible choice unless you want your vehicle to be in the Worst condition possible when you get it back. They don't do proper repairs, nor do they do all of the repairs that they were already paid to do even after taking the vehicle back for them to do said work and they will vandalize your vehicle for bringing it back and expecting them to do their job right. I have been through a lot recently and I was having trouble locating what shop my car was at and when I called, the lady was extremely rude and short with me like she was getting annoyed although I was literally being as polite as possible. She abruptly hung up after I even tried saying thank you when we were finished. I'm not saying it hurt my feelings but it did rub me the wrong way because I go out of my way to be kind to people and I could feel the negative through the phone. I'm young and these are my first times having to deal with these kind of situations, all I was trying to do was find my car. That could have ruined someone's day if it were someone else. An hour into our cross-country drive, the car broke down. Called AAA and they sent out Waller County Paint & Body. They were so busy that the owner himself drove the tow truck out to meet us. After towing it back to their facility, we discovered that the total engine shut down was due to a tiny sensor. They had the replacement ordered, delivered, and installed in less than an hour. The owner gave us some suggestions on where to eat nearby and had us back on the road in no time. Seriously went out of his way to help us. When someone has car trouble, that is always frustrating, however, considering that the owner and shop guys went the extra mile to help us, makes them worth the 5-star review. read more

While heading home from visiting relatives a couple of weeks ago, our old vehicle broke down. It was too expensive to have the car towed all the way home to our trusted mechanic, so we left it with them to do the work. The alternator had gone out so we commissioned them to replace it. My son went a couple days later to pick up the vehicle to drive home. The first bad sign was that the battery wasn't even charged when he arrived and they had left the keys in the wrong spot, thank goodness they were still open. Then he left and made it as far as Bastrop when all the power steering gave out and he had to stop. This time we had the vehicle towed to a trusted mechanic who inspected the damage and found they had not replaced the belt accompanying the alternator. The old belt broke and caused other damage in the engine. Needless to say we had to buy ANOTHER alternator and had the other damage repaired. The shop did not refund the charges since we did not take it back to them to allow them to fix, although it would have cost us more to have it towed back and we weren't locals. read more

The wheel came off of my boyfriend's Tahoe (rear-wheel drive) while I was driving. Hub assembly came apart and we needed a flatbed or dollies for the tow. The first tow company I called couldn't accommodate. Waller sent Jerry out to take me, the truck and my passenger 15 miles. I would highly recommend him! He was amazing: knowledgeable, punctual and professional about the tow and the repairs. Cost wasn't a motivating factor for me on this one but I think the cost was very fair. read more

I had a accident on 290 the guy hat works for the company came and was trying to tell me how much it would be to fix it. He told me it would be a lot since I pushed back the engine and all that all at the same time the guy I hit was a dump truck driver and told me none of what he was saying was accurate because the coolant wasn't even leaking. He was really just trying to get me to spend more money due to me being a young girl at the age of 19. Then they tried to charge 4 dollars every mile for towing. If you know anything that is especially expensive for towing. Then the lady behind the counter was sketchy saying she couldn't take credit cards but the day before told us she couldn't accept checks. I also got my car back with a nail in the tire from them and had to fix my tire by myself. Sketchy business. read more

I had an issue with one of their wrecker drivers today, which resulted in the driver displaying juvenile behavior and a potential road rage hazard. This was an utterly unprovoked and unnecessary display and when I called the office to explain the situation, the "manager" told me that this driver didn't take his meds this morning and would receive a spanking. If this is your example of customer service and how you attempt to diffuse a potentially dangerous situation, then I have to assume that the rest of your staff and service is mediocre...AT BEST. read more

Robert Stump is the body shop manager, and he promised me, my insurance adjuster, and Enterprise rent a car that he would pay for the additional 33 days on the rental car since my insurance only paid for the first 30 days. The total car rental bill was $1052.00. I took the $500.00 deductible that he waived and paid part of that bill as a courtesy to him on December 14th 2015 Today, January 22nd 2016, he has forgotten his promise and Enterprise charged me $552.00! I read a review on another website and what happened to this other consumer is almost verbatim of what happened to me! Don't ever take your car here! One of our drivers had an accident and rolled our tanker truck out in this area. We called Waller County Paint and Body to come tow it for us. We were going to have it towed closer to our area in Pearland but they insisted that they could fix it no problem and we should save ourselves the money and let them take it. (BTW, it was over 2 grand to tow it.) Within a couple days of them having the truck (and us waiting on an estimate) they put a lien on it and started charging $35 a day storage. We told them we just needed an estimate for State Farm and they kept stalling and telling us they couldn't find the parts. After 10 days of this we decided to get our truck out of there since they refused to be of any help; it took an act of God to get them to return phone calls, emails, requests, etc. They insisted they could fix our truck, then when they couldn't they charged us daily storage fees while they "looked" for parts. In the end State Farm had to pay them to get out truck out. Do NOT do business with these people. read more

I was traveling between Houston and Austin when my vehicle decided not to shift (automatic) any more. I had to pull off the highway to try and find help. There is very little between Houston and Austin, so I did not think I would find anyone to help. I saw their billboard above their building luckily, drove (slowly) over to them. They were all busy, but stopped to look at my vehicle and had it repaired (had to replace a throttle sensor) within an hour (including time to get the part). This was better service than I get at my normal repair shop. They were half the price of where I normally go, great customer service (kept me informed) and very nice. They had me back on the road in no time. It was one of the best experiences I have had at an auto repair shop. read more
