I'd pay $10 for 3 of these sandwiches any day! Sure beats a $10 Jesus chicken sando, if you know what I mean! I ordered online to pick up in store while at the gym. Once I walked into the store, I simply told them I had ordered online. They confirmed my order and packed it immediately, and I was on my way. Staff were very friendly. Store was clean and neat. Food was hot and delicious. My only complaint was that when you bite into the chicken, it kind of rips off however it wants, making my bun-to-chicken ratio off for most bites, but definitely worth a try!

I've been here a few times now. My husband and I usually get the tempura chicken nuggets for family get-togethers because they love them! On the recent visit, I tried their Grilled Chicken Rice Plate. I got the meal for $10.99. The chicken was so tender and flavorful! The coleslaw was fresh and crisp. There was more dressing than I liked, but I still enjoyed it. The rice was soft and cooked perfectly. This was filling, I would definitely order this plate again. The service is always great and the staff is so friendly. The restaurant is clean and has plenty of seats. There are tables for smaller groups and there are also long tables to seat larger groups or for shared seating. Wallace does not disappoint especially because they're so affordable. You can't beat their prices anywhere, that's why this place is so popular. Great job, Wallace Chicken! We will be back soon!

First of all, I regret not coming sooner. The chicken sandwiches are really delicious. The chicken seems to be marinated before batter and fry so it's flavorful and juicy. The bun was soft, and the tomato/lettuce/pickles were delicious. The only thing I didn't like was the sauce was not mayo, it's sweet and creamy. The nuggets were delicious. Would recommend getting it, it's juicy & much better than a McD's nugget these days. Fries were seasoned well. The value is very good for the quality. You can order with a worker or order at a kiosk. It looks like they also have a rewards program.

Been meaning to come since they first opened and finally had the chance to come try! We got the original chicken wings bucket, the waffle fries, a waffle, and a drink. The chicken wings are delicious they use dark meat which is moist and has a thin lightly fried layer. The waffle fries are also crispy and tasty. The waffle is on the thicker end but still love the sugar they add in it which gives a good sweetness to go with your savory chicken. I don't feel overly greasy or full even after eating all of it! My only recommendation would be to add a thin paper on the trays as it does tend to be a little messy, but that's just preference! But everything was super tasty, and I am definitely going to come back and get more chicken for my fried chicken cravings!

When we were passing through Walnut, we needed a place for a quick lunch and stopped here. My husband remembered that Wallace was Instagram-famous at some point so that was the primary selling point. They have a 3 for $10 deal where you can buy 3 original chicken sandwiches for $10. This is a notch cheaper than Popeyes or KFC and a good amount cheaper than Chik Fil A. We ordered 3 to dine-in as well as a bucket of original chicken wings, and several orders of fries. For fast food, the food wasn't particularly fast, which I mean as a compliment. It took about 5-10 minutes for everything to be freshly prepared, and to their credit, the chicken wings came out scorching hot from the fryer. Honestly, everything was good. The chicken sandwiches are made with chicken thighs (moisture!), had mayo and pickles on a bun. The fries had that fast food breading and were tasty. The wings had a crisp breading and were all perfectly fried. The only thing we didn't know to try are their chicken nuggets and their famous Wa Sauce, which costs $.39/container. We liked their sandwiches and their value enough to order another 3 for the road. They are now sitting in our fridge for when we get the munchies. If a Wallace existed closer to home, we would certainly visit often.

I came here today for an early dinner, ordered on chowbus so i could pick up. I chose the 3 chicken sandwiches for $10 and some french fries, total came out to $13 and some change. I do agree with the reviews that the chicken can be a bit chewy and stringy but im not mad about it considering the price. The fries were seasoned and fried nicely. I see myself coming back go try the deluxe or spicy sandwich. Overall id recommend this place for its value.

The best chicken spot in the area, and it's located right next to a gym- perfect pre/post workout meal! Wallace is located in a busy shopping center and sometimes it's hard to find a parking space but it is definitely worth it. The menu is really straightforward, lots of nice options for sides, all yummy, but my favorites are the green beans!! Staff is always super friendly, they answer any questions you may have and are quick with taking orders. At times it's a bit of a wait to receive your food but to receive fresh foods is better than lamp heated chicken. They have plenty of seating inside although I've noticed most folks take it to go. I recommend trying next time you're in the area & you're craving fried chicken!

It's been an over a year since they opened and they still offer one of the best deals in town with their 3 chicken sandwiches for $10! These are great chicken sandwiches. Made to order so you have to wait a little bit, but it's not long and it's worth it. Chicken is crispy, moist, and flavorful. They use buns that are super soft and taste good. I'm not a pickle fan, but they use bread & butter pickles in their sandwiches and it truly adds to the flavor. Also got their chicken wings this time. Good size wings, crispy, and spicy! They definitely truly have a kick. So glad they're in my neighborhood. Staff is always friendly and courteous.

I saw the 3 for 10 and I had to check it out. The chicken was season perfectly and fried just right. I had the 3 for 10 sandwiches, and nuggets. Nuggets were legit. Nice and juicy and tasty with or without sauce. Back to the sandwich. Love the pickle in the sandwich. Wish I got more sauces only got ranch and the Wawa sauce.

Was curious about this branch since it's from China and this is their 2nd location. Was happened to be 15mins away and thought to give it a try. The location is in a big shopping plaza and has a big parking lot so easy parking. They're either remodeling or putting up new signs since outside are covered and being painting. Inside is new and clean and very spacious. Small menu and plenty of pictures to see what the foods look like. Ordered a bucket of wings for $20 and 3 chicken sandwiches for $10 (special offers at the moment). Prices are not bad at all, they do have special meal deal that is under $10. Staff are good, the wait is abit long but since I ordered, they start making it so...waited for 8mins for my orders and got it in a cool colorful bag. Smell great and if you eat it right away it's very juicy and tasty, the burger is good and same for the wings. It just not my cup of tea of their seasoning and favor but with their dipping sauces, it just not going together for me. Overall, it was okey, good sandwich (without the seasoning), good clean store and not bad pricing.

They sell Dark meat and it's soooo goood. My bf and I tried it after the gym and we were definitely satisfied, With the flavor and price. It's very clean inside and plenty of seating. We ordered the chicken rice bowl and the grilled chicken sandwich. And the Caribbean sauce, mustard and Nashville ? I believe. All were delicious but I think Nashville was my favorite. I also like how they offer protein milkshakes. (They're located next door to the gym) Customer service is decent. Nice, young, quiet people making the food and running the register. Can't wait for the Glendora Ave location to open!

The food tastes fantastic! I ordered the signature chicken combo, bubble tea and seasoned potato wedges. The fried chicken has crispy outer skin and juicy tender meat inside, the drinks also have well-balanced sweetness. As for service, all crew members are polite and patient, they happily adjusted my order details when I made small requests. The dining area is tidy with plenty of seating space, the tables and floors get cleaned frequently. The restroom is sanitized regularly as well. I will absolutely come back to try more menu items very soon!

So came here not knowing much about it. My mistake for not understanding it's all dark meat chicken. I personally didn't like the number one combo like at all. It's juicy but felt chewy. Tried the wings and way too spicy for me. Maybe do a non spicy wings? Fries and green beans were good. Small and hard to find seats. It's like chic Fil a but with dark meat. Service slow too. I've been here countless times and every time I eat here it's the best experience I've ever had at any type of restaurant. The service is excellent, I know that my order will always come out correct and fresh. It's always very clean. I ALWAYS get the 3 for ten and spicy chicken tenders and it NEVER misses. They are the first chicken place I've seen use dark meat which is the best meat to use. Lots of people don't seem to understand that Wallace cooks their dark meat to perfection every single time because it looks "pink" do you guys not know what dark chicken meat looks like??? My kids and I are fried chicken fanatics, and since we're on a Summertime Fried Chicken food crawl at all the new (to us) chicken joints in our area, this one was on the list. Lemme say, I was pleasantly surprised by Wallace. I got the Spicy Chicken sandwich meal and the kids all got the original chicken sandwich meals. We mixed up the sides so we could try a little bit of everything. First off, I love that they use thigh meat instead of breast (which I think is too dry). Using dark meat truly makes for a juicier & more flavorful experience. The crisp was just right and we all agreed that the seasoning was also on point. The bun they use is some kind of butter roll--very nice touch. As for the sides, we tried the original fries, waffle fries and green bean fries. All were crisp and NOT greasy at all. I really felt the original Wallace fries were the star. While the waffle fries and green beans were good, they felt similar to other places I've eaten, BUT... the Wallace fries were so unique. I don't think I've eaten fries like this before. The texture was great and the seasoning was excellent. We also ordered the tempura chicken nuggets, which looked very similar to McDonald's Mc'nuggies, but they tasted a lot less processed and had a better crispy exterior and tender meaty center. The kids liked them a lot with the house sauce (tasted like a mustard based BBQ sauce--really good). Will definitely come back with the wife when she's off Keto. If you're looking for something different (in a good way), check out this lesser known spot tucked away next to the 24-hour fitness. Oh, and the staff was friendly & the interior was clean, bright and welcoming. read more

Thank god I don't live close to here because I would be a whale. I haven't felt this happy after eating in awhile. The loaded fries came out to $8.99 before tax, and they were super crispy and flavorful. There was a mixture of cheese, bbq, and wallace sauce on top, which sounds overwhelming, BUT actually perfect. I asked for grilled chicken on top, and it was tender and flavorful. ALSO, their pickles are sweet and crunchy, just the way I like them. After getting the fries, I had to order more. I got the waffle fries, chicken wings, and chicken nuggets to try. I don't remember the price, but it ranged between $2.49-2.99 before tax. Like the fries, waffle fries were super crispy and fluffy. Chicken nuggets tasted almost exactly like McDonald's on a good day. Lastly, their chicken wings were the true star. They don't look like much, but they are well fried and really juicy inside. The chicken sandwich was rather bland, unfortunately. It lacked any crispiness or crunch with the breading, the bun was okay, and the pickles end up jumping out with their flavor over everything else, which is not ideal. I had to add sauce and other condiments to make it more enjoyable. The fries were okay, but they don't make up for the sandwich. I wouldn't get this again given numerous other alternative fried chicken places that do a better job. read more

Finally got to try out Wallace Chicken!!! With that being said, Dave's is just now to me, mediocre at best, compared to Wallace. What a great addition to the city of Walnut. My experience dining in was amazing. I ordered a Wallace Deluxe and my food was already made and ready to eat. Amazing and efficient customer service all around. This spot was not it. Went in hoping for a good chicken sandwich and when I bit in my tastebuds were let down. If you are doing something different from the regular white meat chicken sandwich it would probably be a good idea to put on the menu that it uses dark meat. Sweet pickles are a bit off too. 2 stars for the fries, waffle fries and fried green beans though. Those were good, but a bit small on the portion. read more

I went here a few weeks ago. I was getting ice from the fountain with my cup I was given and what seemed to be a roach (something with long black antennas) was covered in ice in my cup. I noticed when I looked down and WAS SHOCKED I MEAN OMFG, I sat the cup on the counter and told the worker and even he looked scared lol, but he grabbed the cup and walked over to this guy on his computer the manager (I guess) and they were talking. The worker comes to me and offers a refund and apologizes and offers a free chicken sandwich card. Insanely enough, I wanted to still try the chicken I was hungry and was craving chicken since it was my first time. I would've liked a refund for my meal and the meal on the house, not either or. That wasn't fair to me and therefore is why I'm writing this review. Please do better with your communication with your customers AND PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!! Clean that ICE MACHINE! Because the manager telling me it was a mosquito sounded unbelievable. Why would something that big and brown with ANTENNAS come from an ice machine?? Then the manager said a customer earlier said they saw something fly in...like what? Another reason for this review is because the manager was so nonchalant. It was annoying to me as if a roach coming from an ice machine didn't phase him. Immediately they should've closed off the fountain until further notice because any type of INSECT coming from an ice machine is a health hazard. Please get it together and take it more seriously. THAT WAS SCARY! Now I am never ever using ice from any restaurant/fast food establishment in my life. Your chicken is good! I'll give you that but work on customer service and cleanliness. read more

i ordered the spicy chicken deluxe combo but i think they gave me the regular combo instead. i don't remember if i got charged extra but received something else instead or if it was a miscommunication. that being said this place is okay its nothing noteworthy. service was great but the food was lackluster based on social media hype. they use sweet pickles and i was not fond of it especially with the contrast of the chilis that they provide. wallace chicken uses dark meat specifically the thigh of the chicken but in exchange you get some pieces of chewy cartilage and the breading does not maintain its crunchiness for long. their signature sauce tastes exactly the same as chicken fil a but honestly chick fil a is better :/ read more

The food was amazing! I tried the chicken sandwich, tenders, and nuggets and all of them did not disappoint! They were all super tender and juicy. The service was also amazing they answered all my questions and were really quick to get your food out. Also the ambiance was really aesthetically pleasing making the whole experience better. If a restaurant offers customization, customers should reasonably expect those instructions to be followed. The restaurant was also fairly empty at the time, so this was not a situation where they were overwhelmed with a huge rush. Three incorrectly prepared sandwiches during one visit is beyond a simple mistake. At that point, it feels like either a lack of attention or a lack of proper training. When I'm spending $45 on a meal, I expect the order to at least be prepared correctly. I gave this location a second chance. Unfortunately, there won't be a third.

Wallace Chicken has a clean, casual ambiance that's reminiscent of Chick-fil-A but with a slightly more elevated aesthetic. I especially liked the swivel chairs and bar stools, and the remodeled space looks great--it's a nice improvement from the old XLB Dumpling House. We were excited about the $3 for $10 chicken sandwich deal. The chicken was fresh and made with thigh meat, which I typically love. It was incredibly crunchy, and the sweet pickle slice was a nice touch. However, the thigh meat was very stringy when biting into it, which made the texture less enjoyable. While I love thigh meat in general, I think it might not be the best cut for a chicken sandwich unless the stringiness of the meat fiber can be addressed. My husband rated the chicken itself a seven and a half. One major area for improvement is the buns. My husband felt they were low quality, comparing them to a cheap fifty-pack, which took away from the overall sandwich experience. The seasoning on the chicken was also underwhelming--there's definitely room for bolder flavors. Condiments were another letdown. They only had pump ketchup, and though Wallace special sauce was listed for $0.39, it was unavailable during our visit. There were no other sauce options like ranch, mayo, barbecue, or honey mustard, which are essentials for a chicken spot. There were also no spicy chicken options--something like a ghost pepper sandwich would be fantastic! Adding a chicken tender option to the menu could also attract more customers. The fries were okay, but we only tried the regular ones since the cashier mentioned the waffle fries might be too crunchy. Overall, we rated the restaurant a seven and a half. The chicken is fresh and crunchy, but the restaurant needs polishing--better buns, more seasoning, more sauce options, and maybe some menu additions like tenders or spicier items. Personally, I found the fried chicken wrap combo to be quite ordinary and lacking any standout qualities. The chicken appeared to be dark meat and was not fully cooked, as some areas were still red. The flavor was average, lacking the bold and explosive taste that I was hoping for. Moving on to the grilled chicken club sandwich, I found it to be overly laden with mayonnaise and lacking in fresh, crispy lettuce. The chicken was marinated in a sweet sauce, and the ratio of bun to chicken seemed skewed, with an excess of bun compared to meat. Their signature sauce bears a resemblance to that of Chick-fil-A. Went today because last week my friend brought some sandwiches and I thought they were delicious. I went today and enjoyed the sandwich but the fries and loads fries were so salty. I mean sooooo salty! I told the guy in the front that mid meal and he said oh I'll let them know. Like he was shocked or didn't believe me..
