The YMCA is one of the only gyms in town, so most people work out there. They seem to charge A LOT for what you're getting, but they can get away with it since there aren't any other viable options. I was charged $25 for 5 days into the next month before I moved and they wouldn't just let me use the facility for those few days. I was originally charge $15/month with my student discount, so that was inconsistent. I got the deluxe membership with the steam room, locker, etc. It was nice, but the women's locker room is very rudimentary and dismal in appearance for what you're paying. While I had the deluxe membership, a staff member confronted me asking if I was paying for it and it felt like he was accusing me of sneaking in there which left a bad taste in my mouth. The worst part is the hours. This place is only open during the day, very limited weekend hours, closed Sunday's and holiday and closes pretty early in the evening. I think the YMCA is nice for older adults who are retired, but if you're busy and trying to lift in a nice facility with new equipment, try to find a better option....which will be hard in Walla Walla.

They did a great job at for a reasonable fee. Whether I need a $3 shear bolt for that snow blower or self-repair advice, they're always happy to take a few minutes for their customers to discuss a problem or give advice. The Empire is my "go to" small engine products sales and service place of business here in the Walla Walla valley.

Libby showed me how to put money on the card, helped me find machines for my laundry, and helped me get them started. Even though they are working on laundry orders behind the counter, they come out often to help people and sweep, etc. They are always accessible and happy to help customers. The place is very clean and they have everything you might need: restroom, vending machine, etc. Although going to the laundromat is not my favorite thing to do, I feel comfortable and know everything will go well when I go here. The experience was super positive and he treated my nephew like a super star rolling out the red carpet and then telling him he was going to throw in a water bottle for his new purchase. It was a process selecting the right bike and Nolan was very patient, showing us everything that might work for my nephews upcoming junior triathlon. Amanda couldn't have been nicer and for my pendent I could choose from the type of chain at no additional cost. I'm not sure if the chain is included for mail orders. Looking at the options it really makes you think of your drinks in a different way. So you can have a memento of your favorite potent potable or do what I did and choose by color. My pendant is a gorgeous blue from a Bombay Sapphire gin bottle with a smaller clear ring. This is definitely high-end recycling and I loved their ingenuity and style.
