We have donated SO much to this Goodwill in the last year, yet when I was 2 days late to return something because my husband had been in the hospital - they would not let me so I donated it back. Next time, I was careful to get back before the 14 days, AND had the receipt, but the tag had fallen off, so again the snotty girl at the counter said no+ the skirt had 2 holes in it. When this store was in town it was SO much better -now their staff is rude and there are zero fitting rooms. When I asked why, I was told, "well, you can bring purchases back" my gas, my time, no thanks. I will not donate or go to this store again. read more

This guy should be promoted just for daily dealing with the extreme laziness of his crew. No wonder the store is disorganized. This thrift store is straight up stylish. The space this Goodwill inhabits could easily be a boutique store in New York. Exposed brick. Cool lighting. Socialites carrying chihuahuas. (Ok, I'm fibbing on the last one.) But yeah, I'm not sure how this Goodwill got the hook up, but apparently a famous architect (who designed swanky wine bars across the street) designed this Goodwill! I could have just sat down, read a used book on a shelf, sipped a coffee, and people watched! I was here on a blustery winter night. So, I was actually in want of some warmth. Sadly, I didn't find anything USED and cool for me. I did see some un-used scarves, so I grabbed one and was on my way. Drop by this joint. It's an experience. read more

This place is quite well stocked with mostly clothing (70% of the store?). They also have a section for jewelry, furniture, home electronics, containers, George Foreman grills etc. Prices are pretty average ($3-7 for jeans, $2 for tank tops). I always poke around here for kitchen gadgets since you can often find a toaster oven or other frivolous machine (yogurt maker, bread machine) pretty cheap. The store is pretty well maintained - there aren't heaps of clothes sprawled out. I like how the clothes are mostly organized by color and not by size. It makes it easier to find a color match, and when you're looking through so many brands, the sizes aren't very uniform anyways. read more

What happened to the "Goodwill" in Goodwill? We waited for a year+ for the new store in Walla Walla, and while it is clean, neat, and nicely organized - there are ZERO fitting rooms! I understood why the fitting rooms were closed during Covid, but there is no excuse now. I was told "well you can bring it back"? Why - why do I have to waste my time and gas to make a trip back, stand in line and return something? I've always been a big Goodwill shopper, but I'm also crazy busy all the time and don't have extra to be trotting back with returns. Too bad, guess I need to find another thrift store. read more

Moving here from the willamette valley I was so disappointed in this goodwill. It's dirty and smelly and a down right dump. I was accustomed to bright, clean, and well organized stores. The merchandise is just dumped onto shelves or jumbled on the floor. Quite depressing to visit for sure. I won't be wasting my time there for sure. I'm hoping when they move to a new building in College Place they will pattern after the Goodwill stores I've visited all up and down western Oregon. read more

**Cash & credit only. The remodel looks great! Well-organized, clean, and easy to sort through... though the clothes are over-packed on the racks. Dresses seem to run around $6-8.00 ... not bad but could be better, too. The quality generally matches the price, so that's a plus. Bought used heels for $8.99 last weekend. Most women's shoes seem to be larger sizes (7.5 and up). Books are around $2-4 a piece & they carry quite a few popular titles; most books in good or better condition. (Keep in mind that at other thrift stores you'd probably pay $0.25-1.50 for books.. though the selection may not be as consistently good.) Toys are difficult to sort through/seem more disorganized than anything else. Sadly, much less furniture as someone else mentioned. Difficult to get good parking next to the store when downtown is busy.. but it's walla walla, not like you have to walk far. Sucked getting caught in the rain in flip flops last week tho! read more

To start this off with Goodwill being one of three thrift stores in town with the best options at this moment. I come here on a weekly basis and I spend probably at least $100 a week here alone. I don't like to come here in the evening for the fact that I feel the customer service is extremely extremely poor. I work in customer service all of my jobs are in customer service I review people for a living can I get paid good money for it. Karen seems to be the one woman that doesn't treat me with any respect isn't Pleasant I'm not sure what else to do at this point. Speaking to a manager doesn't get anywhere I spoke with people that I've worked here in the past. I'm just wondering if there's anybody else out there that has an issue with Karen and her lack of respect to paying customers. I am going to try my hardest to not come back after 3 p.m. unless it's an emergency. I really truly think the way that she responded to me confronting her was that absolutely terrible. I asked her if she had a problem with me since she treated the people in front of me like they had $1000000 more than me when I'm sitting with hundreds of dollars in my wallet. This isn't my first encounter with Karen this is my third in a row. I wouldn't be so irritated if it wasn't for the way that she responded to me and I did ask her in a very calm nice way that she had an issue with me and then when I said I feel like you don't mean your apology she blatantly looked at me with a piss poor attitude and said well I'm not in charge of your feelings. For real that's not how you respond to paying customers ever. read more

Five stars for the location itself; I was immediately blown away by the charm of the building interior with the exposed brick walls and the glazed concrete floors. This said, the place is 100% style over substance. When visiting last time, the book section appeared to have been untouched for weeks, with stock double-shelved so you couldn't even see what was behind it and the items were dusty and musty and boring titles even as far as thrifting goes. Other shelves were falling over, just not organized at all. The record section was in with toys for some reason so what limited stock was there became part of a giant disaster area with zero organization. Clothing was reasonably well-kept but that's about it. What staff were visible were standing around the counter talking, underscoring to me why what should be an incredible Goodwill turned out to be so dreadfully disappointing. Maybe I went during a poor time, looking at the other reviews, but I've never been more disappointed leaving a Goodwill before. Pretty much the only time I've gone to a Goodwill and left without finding a single item worth buying. read more

I don't know how long it's been since I've been in a Goodwill. I'm working in the city temporarily on business. My motel has a microwave in my room and I needed a glass bowl with a lid so I figured I'd find a Goodwill Store. OMG, I came out with a shopping cart FULL and none of it was clothes! I had more fun in this place. I bought a set of dishes (like I needed ANOTHER set of dishes). I even rearranged dishes because I kept finding ones that matched another so I'd move them to be together. Colored hangers (you can't buy find them anymore other than white or black); a historical portable movie screen in a box that looks like it was for pool cues sticks (4 people stopped me because they had been looking at it); a neck pillow for airplane use; 2 buckets I can use in the garden; a medium sized enamel roasting pan; a red bowl for Valentine's candy at work. Oh, and 3 belts in the colors I've been looking for. Didn't find the glass bowl with a lid other than an older Pyrex bowl that wasn't quite large enough (bought a stacking bowl set from WalMart instead). I did, however, find a glass bowl and lid that was vintage. It had a really nice pattern etched in the glass. Doubt it's microwavable, but it's sure a neat bowl for whatever else. read more

We have visited most of the thrift stores since relocating 7 months ago and I would have to say that Goodwill offers the best variety at the most reasonable prices. Very clean, well thought out floor plan makes it easy to find what you're browsing for. read more

Atmosphere is ok and I like the new look and remodel but they want way too much for used clothes compared to other thrift stores and the money you spend does not go to the needy so I rarely shop there because of that reason. read more
