Took my car on a Saturday for a scheduled oil change and tire rotation. Service advisor Marissa greeted me and since it was my first time there, took the time to show me the waiting area and any other amenities I may need while waiting. Within a short period of time Marissa was telling me my vehicle was ready! Wow, I couldn't believe it. Donni made the checkout process quick and easy, and I enjoyed her friendly conversation! I truly felt like a valued customer, so thank you, Marissa and Donni and thanks to the service tech(s) who worked on my vehicle!! read more

I received a response to my 7/20 post from Brock D. of Walker Chevrolet, the owner. I was told that the dealership would look into my situation. As of 7/22 I was notified that Walker Cheverolet will not assist me with repairing the damage my C8 Corvette sustained while in their possession via text message. Needless to say, I am extremely disappointed in this outcome. My car's interior sustained damage while undergoing repairs at Walker Chevrolet and they refuse to provide any assistance with the repair. read more

My husband and I arrived on Saturday at 8:30a (because we had an appointment and it was confirmed that the vehicles we were interested in purchasing were still available for purchase). Our salesman walked around the dealership with two sets of keys puzzled that he couldn't find the vehicles that we were planning to purchase in cash because the dealership failed to update the system to indicate that one was sold and the other had a deposit down to hold. After waiting an hour, our salesman and a manager informed us that the vehicles were not available (although the system indicated they were on the lot). We drove over an hour to purchase at this location (mostly based on our interaction and customer service we received from Josh) but left after two hours of waiting with no car (just a long trip back home)! We were completely disregarded and unhappy with how things were handled. We decided to take our business elsewhere. We won't return to this location in the future. read more

I just bought a used 2024 Suburban from walker a couple weeks ago. If you're going to buy a car there, buy it from Kyle A. He's a straight shooter, no BS, quick and just a good person. We genuinely enjoyed buying a vehicle from him and I don't think I can say that about any other car salesperson I've ever bought from. I have a couple things that need to be addressed on the vehicle but am confident they'll take care of them without hesitation. I'll be sure to update here if that's not the case. Overall, would recommend! read more

Absolutely outstanding. I've done my routine service here which has always been amazing, but my car recently had trouble and I drove straight there and Tyler and Mark went above and beyond taking care of my car, helping me get my car seat out of the car and better yet they have a designated kids room with toys and Netflix making it an easier and more comfortable experience. Would give 10 stars if I could. Thank you for always going above and beyond in every way! read more

WOW - I didn't realize this dealership was such total crap. I was going to give the sales team the benefit of the doubt but after reading these reviews - here's my revised review. Buying a car at a dealership is more than just the guy who gets you over the finish line and you're happy in your new car. Most people forget about who they now will live with through the life of that car - yes - the service department - and here it SUCKS! Went through 2 reps and the manager Chris. While Chris talks a good story - beware - found he tells you what you want to hear and then never follows through. Biggest run around - no one was working from the same script. Oh, it's this or it's that or it's both. And that critical part that's needed - can't get it till the middle of next week. Long story short / the day came when all repairs were completed. Went to the cashier and was quoted a price more than $200 that I was told it would be when they called and said it was complete. Reviewed the bill and found some overcharging for work not done. Eventually those charges were removed. What I take from all of this is- the two new cars I'm buying in the next 4-6 weeks WILL NOT BE PURCHASED FROM THIS ORGANIZATION. Buying/servicing is tough enough, don't need the same run around this service department. If you're reading this as they are working out the last details of your purchase - run, don't walk from your chair. Better places to shop. read more

A couple of years have certainly changed this dealership, and I felt the need to update my review. I scheduled an appointment for my Tahoe's service and dropped it off the night before so it would be there at 7:00 AM sharp. My main concern was a loss of power issue and a check engine light--though the light was gone upon arrival, I was hoping it was just a glitch. By 7:20 AM, I saw they ran diagnostics during check-in. The paperwork showed a possible fault in the valve body that required further investigation. And then... nothing happened. My Tahoe sat on the lot all day, and no issues were addressed. I had two recalls and a slow tire leak, yet no work was performed once they spotted a possible transmission issue. When I finally got in touch with them after multiple calls, they advised me that the valve body was on backorder--but they still needed to confirm whether that was actually the issue before proceeding. Despite that, no other work was completed. Instead, I lost a full day of work with no transportation and zero communication until I reached out repeatedly. The excuse I was given--delivered with unwarranted arrogance--was that due to shop capacity, nothing had been done to my vehicle. I scheduled this appointment days in advance, yet that didn't seem to matter. This dealership has no problem leaving a vehicle in limbo all day, simply waiting until things improve on their end. Unfortunately, their definition of an appointment doesn't match mine--nor does their approach to keeping customers informed. Fool me once... read more

Picked up my 1 Ton High Country Duramax after paying $1200 in maintenance only to find GREASE ALL over the headliner and both visors. Spent several hours cleaning the grease. My invoice states if not completely happy to call the Service Manager. I spoke with "Chris' who called me a liar by stating that never happened and none of his people would ever place grease inside the truck. He spoke over me with a raised voice, when I spoke over him and said "I am the Customer" he promptly hung up on. I do NOT recommend taking your vehicle to Walker Chevrolet. BUYER BEWARE! I wish I had looked at Yelp.com before shopping here. We purchased a vehicle with odometer marking of 77505 and a full tank of gas on a Friday. We purchased the car, and left a deposit. On the following Monday, we returned to pick up the car and finish the transaction. The odometer was now at 77565 and the gas tank was down to half! We later noticed a crack in the windshield which wasn't there when we signed the contract on Friday. We feel used and taken advantage of by an unethical compan. BUYER BEWARE! Terrible service. Poor communication. Told it was a half day job. Left them my truck early afternoon. Next day Alex when it'll be ready was told he's almost done. Showed up and was told it'll be a couple more hours. Waited. 4 hours later still waiting. Told he's wrapping up about 30 minutes. An hour later still waiting. They must be padding the hours while it sits so they can charge more. read more

This review is a warning to customers purchasing a more inexpensive used vehicle. I so had hoped I would be able to leave a better review. Initially the staff was excellent! We were very happy with our experience... until we left. Within 8 miles our dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree. We purchased this car three weeks ago and have only had it in our possession for a full 72 hours. Last night after my husband got in the car after working a twelve hour shift as an RN, the vehicle would not start. I was put in contact with Matt Coop, the used car sales manager. Matt did not hesitate to remind me that the state of TN does not have lemon laws in place and we purchased the car "as is" according to our contract. While I understand and acknowledge these facts, I feel that the quality and presentation of the vehicle were falsely represented at the time of the purchase. It is very difficult to hear a company use buzz words like "integrity" "family owned" etc when you are completely disregarded as a customer. I realize that our purchase was less than $10k, however I do believe in the principle of providing the same care and concern for customers regardless of the amount they have spent. If you are in the market for a more economically priced used vehicle, I would highly discourage you from working with this organization. ALSO we realized there was a massive hole in our floor mats that was definitely not there when we dropped it off for repairs the day after buying it. wild As far as the owners response: The first time we spoke with Matt was at 8:21pm. He did not offer a resolution other than to call the number on the windshield.. after we purchased the vehicle due to a leak the windshield was replaced and I guess the sticker was left behind. Yes Matt did call me back at 10:16pm. After we had not received any contact since around 9pm. He never offered a resolution aside from calling the number on the windshield. At this point in the evening we were able to find a resolution on our own without the assistance of any persons from your organization. Based on my phone records Matt did not attempt to make any contact on Saturday. Also when he called at 10:16pm, he did not leave a voicemail and did not provide any other follow up via written communication. Im not sure why anyone would respond to a random phone call at 10:16pm from someone who had spoken to me the way Matt did? Mind you we had brought the vehicle home after the repairs and also noticed that when they replaced the windshield destroyed the headliner of the car. The engine bay hardly anything holding it places. The battery was literally just floating. And even after all of these fixes we still had to go out and buy body clips to hold down the stuff they missed in the engine bay. If you or anyone within your organization would like to reach out and obtain any further details, please feel free to do so. read more

I ordered a 100k Corvette 8 months ago. They stated April delivery as they get 4-5 allocations a month and I was 30 on the list. They called me last week and stated I was number 5 on the list and would let me know if I could order this month. They then let me know today that I am somehow number 11 on the list with the excuse the inventory manager made a mistake. I cancelled my order and they showed 0 care in the world. If this is how they treat customers spending $100,000 I can't imagine how they treat customers spending less. They either have an incompetent inventory manager or they are taking money and moving people ahead on the list. Either is unacceptable. Cancelled my order and put a reservation down on a Tesla. read more

Whoa... really surprised to see the poor reviews. I had a tremendously awesome experience buying my used Raptor from Hunter at Walker. Very Bad experience. Terrible Dealership. Spoke with Brian several times about the 2011 volvo xc90 they listed on car gurus. Before we left on the 130 mile trip on March 6, 2019 I called and he stated the xc90 was there. He said to ask for Chris when we arrived. When we arrived the xc90 nor Chris could not be located. Other managers told me they would speak to Brian and assist me. These mgrs disappeared. After 30 minutes I called the dealer number to speak with the general manager Dailey. He was not available. So we left. The number of negative reviews here and elsewhere mirrors our bad experience with Walker Chevrolet at Nashville, TN. This would be a good place for a car dealership if they did not hire incompetent, lazy and criminal type employees. Ownership and management clearly condone this type of criminally fraudulent activity. * This is my personal opinion. read more

I bought my car from Walker Chevrolet, and six months later I had a minor issue and was informed my car of 28k miles was out of warranty. Worse car buying experience imaginable. There was a recall on my car after 1 week and another issue that they now "don't have the replacement part for". No straight answers. Horrible sales force .. they cannot even figure out what vehicles are sold and which are available to be sold. We contacted them about a vehicle listed as available on their website, confirmed that it was available to be sold and not awaiting a recall. Salesman confirmed that it was available and we were setting up a time to purchase. Got a call back from a different salesman telling us that it was sold before it even got to the lot. A week later we get a call stating that they now have the vehicle we are looking for. I asked NUMEROUS times for him to verify that the vehicle was physically there, not sold to anyone else and able to be sold. I explained I wanted him to physically go to the vehicle and verify. He did and sent me a video of the vehicle. Then, moments later, a text stating that the vehicle is not able to be sold as it is awaiting the battery (recall issue). WOW!!! If they don't even know what vehicles they have for sale, how can I trust them with anything else? read more

My wife's scheduled oil change took 6 hours to complete and their service department did not reach out to explain the delay. I have many positive things to say about this dealership! I feel like I am in good hands as this is still a family owned business and everyone I have talked to has been so kind. Purchasing was smooth and everyone was friendly, but that's where the facade runs out at this dealership. The disaster that ensued is far too much to detail but what I can say is, out of all the dealerships I've ever purchased from, this one takes the cake in utter lack of care for customers and securing future business with them as well as a good reputation for themselves. They are only catering to you should your experience be a positive one. Reminds me so much of the narcissistic ex I was once married to. Don't let the reviews fool you I work in social media and know the tricks to ensure higher levels of ratings. 8 weeks after driving off the lot I had put $2500 of my own money into the vehicle they sold me BUT WAIT LUCKY ME I was #blessed enough to win their $500 gift certificate they giveaway (ironically, also much like that narcissistic ex, coming with terms and conditions I was not aware of until after receiving - but that's another story). When I called to inform them of the POS they sold me, they were all too kind to let me jump through 3 hoops of approval to use this $500 gift card, normally allowed to be used only in their gift shop, for parts for the bucket they sold me. Feeling #blessed once again, even though frustrated to get that approval, I walked in with a smile and a little less respect for the place. I get my $500 worth of parts to help with an $1800 repair at the mechanic's shop and SURPRISE every single part was wrong for my vehicle leaving me to pay the mechanic an additional $500 for the correct parts. I returned the parts and instead of being credited the $500 amount back I requested a new key fob but never received the balance of the $500 credit. With a sigh of relief, over $3k less in savings and the fury of hell raging within me that due to their incompetence I not only had to shove out another $500 but also wasted an hour driving there and back to return the parts all while using my own gas!! Could I be any luckier?! I left with the intense desire to never look back. But, there was more in store, another expensive disaster later and I phoned Hunter (who is probably too good to even be associated with this place) in desperation. Another expensive repair. He said he would see what he could do - the solution Walker Chevrolet in Franklin offered me? "Here are vehicle options that will cost you $400+ more a month and have higher mileage" All I could do was laugh in disbelief at the situation from hell to ensure I would not unleash all the hell-rage within me. I chose this car because it accommodates the size of my family and needs - their solution was either pay more for the same or downsize the vehicle and pay the same - win-win, am I right?! I expressed my feelings of being slapped in the face and was promised a call from the manager. The dealership, full of surprises like that damn Cracker Jack box, never called back. Customer service is strong with this one. $500 more down the tube the week after this pathetic conversation I am unsure that I have ever seen a mechanic so happy as I now provide more jackpots than a Vegas slot. What bothers me most about this entire fiasco, the complete failure of customer service, is it is unlikely they were unaware of the issues wrong with the vehicle they sold me. I have been around cars my entire life, went to school to learn how to fix them and have had mechanics play a role in my personal life from a young age. The issues that they sold to me (while telling me the car was looked over by their team and ensured me it was good) could have been disastrous accidents waiting to happen with life-threatening consequences for my family and me. These were not minor issues. They were wheels having the possibility to fall off while on the interstate, gas leaking and contaminating, complete brake failure and so on. The most basic of things - providing enough engine oil after changing the oil - was not done at Walker and it almost cost me thousands upon thousands to fix that. These are the techs behind the scenes folks. Like any other faulty product advertisement (better known as infomercials) "BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE!" I leave this morning to take my children to school and now the vehicle won't start and it won't even turn over. My familiar friend, the check engine light is once again shining bright for me like the superstar it is. If you want to pay thousands of dollars just to spend more than said thousands of dollars and be disrespected while doing so, then this is your place. read more
