Let me start by saying that Jason at Street Sounds in Nashville is a patient and good man…read more My daughter had an issue with her car at an oil change facility in town (Nashville), where things went extremely bad as they made a mistake that could have been catastrophic to the car's engine. They also disconnected the battery cable from the battery and evidently, that reset the car's (RAV4 2002) very old aftermarket security alarm. The alarm system kept activating the audible alarm and the car would not start. As she is traveling across the country, this all could not have happened at a worse time! I will spare some of the details regarding just how bad the day was. Suffice it to say, it was like a snowball rolling downhill gathering more and more snow. I looked up local alarm shops in Nashville, I am in California, and I came across Jason who was very willing to listen and help try to diagnose the problem over the phone. Jason understood the stress my daughter was under and he patiently worked with her and I over the phone in an attempt to resolve the problem with the alarm system. We eventually had the car taken to Jason's shop that same day and he was able to quickly fix things so that my daughter could get back on the road. I feel very blessed that we came across Jason and Street Sounds as they are honest, empathetic and trustworthy. I was asking about them being able to troubleshoot the radio issues and off the bat, he went into sell mode. He then stated that they don't "repair" and only sell. Which is weird because many people had recommended them for their radio expertise and repairs. He again, stated that he didn't they don't make repairs, but then attempted to sell me a radio in excess of $1000.00 and I knew then this wasn't the business that I wanted, since I wasn't in the market for a radio and wanted to see options of repairing prior to replacing. I will say the guy on the phone was extremely polite and kind, but he was definitely not hearing me on just wanting solutions. If they only sell them my apologies on this review.

There's not a trace of 'Elite' in this establishment. From the people, to the skill of doing a job or even the sincerity towards a customer who's not paying $$$ so that you can have an inflated idea about yourself. Got a quote for over $6K for new downpipe, pads and rotors and an intercooler. It was expensive for sure but I thought they'll do a good job. My Focus RS is my daily and I was quite clear to Rich on how important this car is to me and the main reason behind taking a hit on the wallet. He seemed to understand everything, clearly it was only to get me on the hook. They took ~50% advance said we will call you when the parts are in and schedule a date to get the job done. A month, multiple follow-ups and their failing attempts to explain their knowledge of 'supply-chain' and why it's normal that they don't have a clue on when they parts would arrive, we finally had all the parts and scheduled a date. Surprisingly I get the update the next day the car is ready. I go pick it up, make the last payment and leave. A couple of weeks go buy and I'm beginning to smell the emissions in the cabin. I thought to check the tune and couldn't find the OBD port in the car! Called them about it and they said to bring it in to take a look. I mentioned the missing OBD port. Couple of hours later I get a text, your vehicle is ready for pick-up. In the text they also mentioned that there was nothing wrong with their installations and the OBD port was not found. So again I had to call Rich's tells me we checked everything, everything is tight and good. I told him so what about the smell and he says well that only happens if you turn on the AC! Unbelievable. After having to explain it again to Rich he agreed to take another look. Got a text a few hours later saying your vehicle is ready for pick up. Nothing about the issues so I call and the lady (who has ZERO manners with a hopeless attitude problem) says Rich will talk to you when you come to collect. Confused i showed up and he came out to say they did a smoke test and guess what, there was a LEAK. Immediately he got defensive, said 'it could be leaking from anywhere, we can't really see in the video... BS' when it was right where the downpipe goes on the turbo. I told him what's next, the car is undriveable right now, can't have the emissions coming into the cabin. He couldn't care less. He said 'we don't do that job. Maybe the new parts broke some old parts and started walking away'. Told me I was 'pissing him off'! Lol probably because his scams were coming undone and it was time to run back inside. This place is pathetic. If you've got lots of extra $$$ lying around, want a poorly executed job and be treated in a way which makes you livid, yes this is the place for you.

But to yell and cuss and make a big scene when a customer is simply talking to you calmly, is not a way to treat people. Especially when Jennifer counted 6 cars alone on the account all brought in with the last year. I've even worked with you before and had pleasant experiences, but this experience supercedes any past interactions. Jennifer deserves to be GM with how sweet she talks and interacts with people.
