Honest, reliable, and good prices. Waiting room had snacks, coffee, and soda. The quote I received was accurate. Will be returning.

Chose Reliable Automotive to be my repair shop after " interviewing" several shops around the area. I have now used them for four vehicles, multiple maintenance jobs, including brakes, rear end struts, new radiator, a/c recharge and more. I find them trustworthy, knowledgable and always clear on expected cost and time required. Experienced an issue on a brake job not quite right and they corrected the issue without any hesitation. Nice waiting area stocked with snacks and drinks if needed. read more

Reliable Automotive is incredibly honest, trustworthy, and as their name says - reliable! My bf's crankshaft position center failed on us while driving - it was terrifying bc we lost power steering/brakes and the car just shut down. Thankfully, the team at Reliable was able to give a transparent and fair quote, and get it in and repair it quickly for us. Brandon was very helpful and the entire staff was welcoming, professional, and made us aware of some suggested preventive measures to take with the mileage of the car. Highly recommend it, fantastic local resource! read more

I had such a wonderful experience from the minute I entered the door, and Annie and John greeted me. Tiffany, who handles quality control, was very prompt to check in with me after the work was completed, and ensure that I was happy and all went well. She truly went above and beyond for me, she makes sure that everything is repaired to the highest standards! read more

Talked to Mike about installing a new suspension on a 2021 Model Y. He talked about ordering parts (unsure if he actually did) then completely ghosted for weeks. No response from any texts no answering phone calls. Nothing. Ended up ordering parts myself and finding another installer. read more

Brought my GL450 mercedes to reliable automobile to repair the A/C. Only hot air was blowing out. They did a diagnostic and found four things wrong with the car. I got a quote for $10k to fix a car that is only worth 5k. Then lack common sense. He wanted to replace so many different vows, and all I needed was a compressor to get repaired. They initially quoted me $181 for the diagnostic then when I went to pay, they wanted to charge. $280. I don't really don't trust this organization. read more

My third time doing business here! The fellas at the Lubrication Corner (right by Five Points in downtown Franklin), gave me a quick & affordable tune up. My AC was running hot this summer too, and the guys over at Franklin Automotive did a full check-up on my RAV-4, diagnosis of everything that will need repairs soon (brake pads, AC compressor, etc), as well as topping off the Freon to keep us cool! Reliable Auto gave me great tire options, and were able to get me scheduled quickly and do a great job. The staff was extremely personable. Will be returning! read more

Visited Reliable Automotive for an oil rotation, they were prompt and getting me in and had a great service!

Good communication and friendly. Couldn't do the work I needed but gave me a good starting point

I definately satisfied with their service. I could save about $2000 with Reliable auto compare than maker dealership ! They find exact root cause of failure and fix right points correctly with reasonable price. Furthermore they also pointed out further nessessary maintenance which I didn't recognized and I could saved additional times read more

Terrible quality, Overpriced and even worse customer service once they found out I had a problem with the service they directly provided. AVOID AT ALL COST If you have to deal with upper management, the operation manager, Michael avoids all wrongdoing no matter what, the manager at the new shop sent pictures and talked to him directly, and he still acted like they did no wrong, and said he couldn't see what the pictures were showing, and they were "blurry" he said. Took my truck in for some engine codes relating to vacume leaks/rough idle (intake manifold gaskets) and front brakes making terrible noise when i visited franklin. I drove the truck under 2000 miles after they "fixed" it. just to have all the same codes come back plus a few more along with the brakes starting to make noise and the rear caliper leaking fluid after a 1900$ front brake service. I do not live in franklin, so I called them, and they sent me to another napa certified shop in Huntsville, Alabama to warranty the work. Upon taking it to the shop they requested me to take it to, that mechanic found a bolt broke off on the backing plate of the brakes they fixed, and also found that they charged me to replace the upper and lower intake manifold gaskets 1648$ and they only changed the upper intake gasket. So he could not warranty the work that Reliable Automotive did because they DID NOT even do the work that I was charged for. The new shop had to rework the entire intake manifold gaskets upper and lower. There prices are overpriced too. The intake gasket cost 1648$ at Reliable Automotive where the shop they sent me to only charge 950$ for the same work. over 150% more expensive than the shop they requested me to go to so they are price gouging So I ended up having my truck back in the shop for a week, having to pay for a car to drive for that week, and having to pay the new mechanic up front out of my own pocket to actually fix my truck. I also had to make many phone calls and send pictures to finally get some money back. I finally got the senior manager tiffany at Reliable Automotive to actually refunded me the 1648$ amount for the intake manifold (parts and labor) because all of the physical evidence showing they didn't do the work. I should of got paid for the car I had to borrow while my truck was back in the shop, plus I shouldn't have to pay out of my pocket for service that was done wrong at their shop. I hope this review saves someone else the headache and money. read more

Quality service, quick turnaround, and fair price. I had recently had the alternator replaced by a shop in Knoxville on my sons car. when driving home for Christmas break the battery light came on and the car died. It would "come back to life" for a while and then more lights. Luckily, he made it home to Franklin and we got into Reliable. Sergio Sumal was our advisor and he was great to deal with. Courteous, prompt, and communicative. He and the techs discovered the previous shop failed to properly secure connections to the alternator and battery. I recommend this shop without reservation. read more

They were able to get me in fast, someone always answers the phone, the service was what they said it would be as was the value!

These are high character men in an industry with a low integrity reputation. Sergio especially does a terrific job communicating, keeping customers informed and aware of what's going on. People who are honest, work hard, and communicate well, what more can you ask for? read more

Road trips can be a ton of fun, but given the failure of even the best of vehicles, having amazing mechanics to work with your car that you can trust is a must. When issues arise outside of your normal circle of trusted professionals, it can be a nightmare in the making! My friends and I made a trip from Florida up to Nashville. After one to many energy drinks, more gas station snacks than I care to count and not checking the cars fluids regularly, we found ourselves in a dilemma far from home. Being a bunch of girls, we didn't need a bunch of male mechanics to try to man-splane us the problem and sell us turn signal fluid. Enter the amazing staff at Reliable Automotive. The owner Mike answered our call and had us in the shop in no time. He personally checked over the car and had his mechanics fix our issues in no time! The office where we waited had a comfy couch, a place to charge our phones, water and a clean bathroom. If you're in the Franklin/Nashville area, definitely give these guys a try. A friendly and fun crew that had these Florida girls on their way back to girls vacay in no time. read more

Marlon is a very professional and efficient auto mechanic. I had all the parts necessary for the project on hand, he arrived when he said he would and completed the installation in the amount of time promised. Communication for scheduling was excellent as well as his pricing which is a rare find for a mobile mechanic. He is a first class business act. Would hire again without hesitation. read more

Good people at Reliable. They've helped me a few times. Last time I had a stick lodged between brake and caliper, was making a horrific noise, got it towed in. They were honest and this place will continue to be my go-to. read more

It's hard to find a good honest repair shop , but I was lucky enough to get recommended to this one! They will treat you like family and they will tell you straight up what you need, don't need and what can wait. They understand that people need their cars, but also need money to buy food and pay bills. They will work with you and give a great price. Beyond that they don't have quotas like Firestone so they won't tell you a million things you need fixed that aren't really necessary. I also really appreciate the Southern hospitality. Their office is nicely decorated and welcoming to even female customers. It doesn't feel like a grimy shop. It's nicely painted and even has a table with cookies and drinks for customers. Plus magazines of course. You will not regret coming here ! read more

I am so happy that I found this place! Before I moved to TN, I had an excellent garage that did all of my auto work. My cars never went to the dealership because I knew I stuck gold. I am happy to report that I found my new spot! Personable and professional. Once they inspected my Honda Odyssey they sent a text link that showed me pictures of what needed to be done and estimate. I received another link that let me choose what I wanted done and what I wanted to wait on. Well, I had it all done: bushings, brakes. Very pleased with the results. I'll be bringing my Prius here for service too. read more

Love this place for whenever I need anything for my car! Great crew, fast, responsive, and reliable.

Honest, friendly and reliable. 3rd visit and still 5 star service. Was a little disappointed in the final price. I understood it would be 200 per axle, but ended up being $250 and $290. I don't know why one axle was more than the other. However, I still recommend them and I intend to use these friendly. pleasant and honest team for my 5 cars. Thank you! read more

Had engine problem and faulty injectors. Very professional and the team explained everything in detail unlike the dealerships who are just too costly and have a lot of hidden costs. The staff were very friendly and would recommend this place to anyone with car issues to ensure one gets the right price and correct work done. read more

After a frustrating situation with another garage, Mike & the guys at Reliable took care of their mistakes. They did a full inspection that they shared with us (videos, photos, detailed explanations) before they started the work. We realized that not only did the other garage not fix what we paid them to, they ended up creating several other problems as well. The guys at Reliable got the issues corrected and thanks to their great work, we were able to recoup most of the money lost at the other garage. Since then we've brought the car back to them for tires and other work. We will definitely be bringing our cars back here in the future. It's difficult to find trustworthy folks these days, and these guys are it! Thank you Mike, John, and the rest the folks at Reliable Automotive! read more

Upfront and honest transactions! They sent me pictures of the issue and obtained my approval before beginning any repairs this week. They spoke with me about the issues with our van and reasonably explain what needed to be done, and what we didn't need to do. I trust their work on my wife's car, and I don't have to worry about their work being correct. I found them 2 years ago, and I only wish I found them sooner! They are straightforward and have always been pleasant to speak with about our vehicle's maintenance. read more

This place is the best! Mike and John and the mechanics are so helpful and honest. They have been so hospitable and great at their work. My car got totaled with insurance and they even recommended what cars would be good for what I was needing. read more

if it were possible to rate this business zero, I would. I was charged a large sum for repairs, only to discover thousands of dollars were needed in addition for my car to be operational. After I had another garage look at my car, they stated they would've never completed the initial repairs without further investigation from the start. So, I was out thousands of dollars and ended up selling the car as scrap to that second garage. When I attempted to communicate with the manager my dissatisfaction, the only thing I asked him to do was respond to me. But he never did, which told me a lot about how they valued me as a customer. I'm not sure I've ever written a negative yelp report in my life, but people need to get second opinions before they are willing to spend thousands of dollars for repairs at this company. Such disappointing service. Who has several thousand dollars to throw out the window...I certainly didn't. I did learn a valuable lesson though. ALL I asked after voicing my dissatisfaction was a response, and they weren't willing to do that. Had they taken responsibility by simply contacting me and talking the issue out, I most likely never would have posted this. I understand people make mistakes, all I'm asking is that you take responsibility and value your customers. read more

We always like to support local businesses and Reliable Auto has been just that RELIABLE Mike and Josh are both very friendly and dependable and go above and beyond to be accommodating. We have used them for all of our cars from the Lexus to the Ford Pick Up. They do an awesome job and are very affordable and don't try to sell you things that do not need to be done. I would highly recommend Reliable Auto and I always tell people about them! read more

Being new to the area I found Reliable through RepairPal . I made an appointment online through RepairPal . When I arrived, I was greeted nicely and sat down to discuss the problems with my truck. After being informed of the necessary review of the truck, I mentioned that I thought I could wait for that. Instead of saying they were too busy, they took the truck immediately. About 15 minutes later we sat down again and reviewed the potential repairs and prices. I signed off on the quote and left with information on how to drop off the vehicle that evening. The following day I was contacted to approve one small addition. The truck was ready when expected, later that afternoon. All repairs seem to be fine, no issues. Mike (one of the owners) also discussed another repair that could be done but was not really necessary on a 17 year old truck. One of those "just live with it" issues that doesn't pay to fix. He didn't just try to get that extra job knowing it was not worth it to me. I will bring my vehicles back to Reliable as needed. Nice to find what I believe to be an honest auto repair shop! read more

Great shop!!! Educated, excellent prices, and outstanding service. Go here! You won't regret it! Mike is an honest, trustworthy mechanic!

Great local business! And they know their stuff. Mike was very helpful  -- even picked up my car when I wasn't sure I could get a ride back to work (and brought it back to me). No up-sell or hard sell on anything. Competitive pricing. Highly recommended. I will certainly be a repeat customer. read more
