This place is wonderful! Trustworthy and quick service, the staff is friendly and very informative. I have recommended them to my family as well. read more

Not a welcoming or pleasant experience. I'd really hoped for great service. Both service and attitude were seriously lacking.

I highly recommend this company. They are honest and their prices are great! Please call this company for any question's or estimates on your needed service. In today's world it's hard to find an honest Company!! read more

My cars steering column was cracked. They ordered the part, I made the Appt., took it in and they repaired it. It was an easy process and the staff was very friendly. It's close to home & nice having a mechanic close by. read more

What a great experience. I brought in an older Ford that had an engine warning light on that needed attention so that I could sell the car. They did an extremely thorough inspection of the car, much more so than punching in a diagnostic code. The cost breakdown of repairing their findings was very reasonable and I appreciate that they gave me separate labor and material costs. Both Cassie and Amanda on the phone and in person were outstanding, patiently explaining my options with no pressure or selling and with an incredible amount of automotive knowledge. If I could steal them both for my business I would. It feels good to have found an auto repair shop that I can trust. read more

I have a high mileage car. It's served me well for 14+ years and I provide it preventative and routine maintenances. I also drive a lot of miles every year (about 40k). Heaven Sent Automotive is my first, last, and only call for repairs. I get straightforward, honest answers. I have never felt like I was being taken advantage of ("Your neutron fluxor valve is in need of realignment.") More than once I've heard, "Nah, there's no need to change it." Prices are reasonable. Service is quick. They even follow up after a repair with a "how are things going" call or text. read more

All any of us want is a mechanic we can trust. I took our son's car in when he said it was having trouble starting from time to time. After testing everything, there, VERY knowledgeable, front desk lady explained that everything checked out and they wouldn't recommend any further work. Since then we have had zero trouble and they only charged me $40 for the test. I will come back every time we have an issue from now on. read more

Navigating the labyrinth of car repairs is usually as enjoyable as watching paint dry, but this place shakes things up. Dropped by with a mystery rattle that could've meant a money pit. They pinpointed it, sorted it, and had me back on the road in no time. None of the dreaded upsell antics--just direct, no-nonsense service. Price didn't make my wallet cry either. If there's a place that takes the grind out of repairs, this is it. read more

I brought my vehicle for oil change and they put wrong oil in it. The vehicle requires synthetic oil and they put a synthetic blend which is incorrect and not being caught until next oil change when I did oil sample analysis done, which I do once a year, period HSA using the wrong oil would have voided my manufacture's warranty if I had not caught this issue. I'd never recommend this shop to anyone. read more

So as a single woman on a low income budget, and just looking for someone to be honest and fair, I went to heaven sent automotive. I'm gonna be real. I went here because of the Heaven in the name hoping that that would mean that they were somehow more honest or wouldn't take advantage of you like some mechanics.. that's not true according to my findings they will charge you for everything that they can with no consideration for doing anything in a save you kind of way, it's all about nickel and diming you for everything that they can. I told them that I didn't need a diagnostic done and that I knew that there was something going on with my wheel alignment or the way my wheels were sounding and they're like no we have to do it anyway. It's like they charge you 100 bucks for a diagnostic that I didn't even need.. my brother and sister-in-law who owned a shop for years said that they could've just in two seconds put it on a rack and saw what was wrong but instead they charge you $100 for a diagnostic why because they can not because it's necessarily necessary, but because they can. So my point is if you're like a single woman looking for like somebody who cares and just wants to help you get by it ain't them. Don't let the name fool you like it did me. It's NOT HEAVEN sent!!!! read more

Came in for a wheel alignment but once they heard my explanation of the problem I was having, said that I really needed a wheel balance and that, while they could do it for me, recommended that I take it back to Costco (where I got the tires) and that they would do it for free! Then, on my way out, a kind mechanic named Justin stopped me and pointed out that I had a tire that was nearly flat! He had me drive up and filled it with air so I could be on my way safely. I also have to say that Heather, who booked my appointment, was a breath of fresh air to deal with after calling dealership after dealership who couldn't fit me in for two or three weeks and who utterly lacked the customer service that Heather so kindly offered! read more

The short version: honest, friendly staff, quick service, transparent communication from quote to pick-up. I needed my AC fixed in a 10 year old car as the weather heated up. Most places are quick to replace major parts that are labor intensive. I used the Yelp Request for Quote, and Heaven Sent staff were responsive and clarified how they would approach the issue rather than jumping to conclusions. Heaven Sent was willing evacuate, refill refrigerant, inject dye, and test before making major parts replacement recommendations. They apply the diagnostic fee to the process, plus a small materials charge for the refrigerant and parts, which is a fair price. Best of all, if after time the issue recurs, the diagnostic fee is waived for a second inspection since leaks can be slow. When they called in the morning to tell me in the the services needed, cost, and that my car would be ready mid-day, I mentioned I would pick up the car within a few minutes of closing time. When I arrived - about 1 minute before closing - the staff was patiently waiting for me so I could get my car because they remembered I said I would pick it up that evening. It's refreshing to know I can trust Heaven Sent in the future if I need more service. read more

Very responsive to quote requests unlike a competitor in Franklin. Quality is excellent and they provide good value.

Hell at Heaven Sent. Almost called the Franklin PD out for vehicle theft. (Actually, talked to them about it and got some great advice). I was a repeat customer who called them beforehand to bring in a sports coupe and dropped it off on a Wednesday having said the struts were likely bad, and it has a catalytic converter code and slight sputtering sound. Clearly communicated I was open to better performance parts. Took them three days to get back to me and say it's the struts and likely a bad catalytic converter. Oh really? Had to inquire about what strut they were going to replace it with; a cheap generic quickie strut. Specifically asked for a better brand recommended by everyone familiar with that car and got immediate resistance. Called Monday morning to say I'd be picking up the car having lost confidence in them. After 5 minutes standing in the office by myself, the front desk lady walked out not even acknowledging me. She comes back and tries to charge me crazy money for multiple diagnostics. They never communicated any such cost, I never signed anything, never received anything, and there was never a sign stating anything different. They refused to give me the key. She fetched the manager and it got really heated. I was told straight out lies that I had an appointment date and that some woman called on my behalf. He said they called everywarehouse for parts I can find personally all over the internet. I was told if I ate at a restaurant I'd have an obligation to pay. Heck, they have menus with prices~! The stupidest boneheaded thing to tell a repeat customer. This was flat out theft. Never talked to a mechanic. They never pressure tested the exhaust system. It takes less than 15 minutes to see if a strut is bad by anyone competent. I've dealt with many mechanics my entire life in both auto and aviation. These guys looked for the easy way out and wanted a payday for it. In the end, I was still robbed to get my vehicle back. If a place promotes Christ like this, they should be changing their name. It was disgusting, rude and a complete turn off to anything spiritual. They promote their business with their faith. It was obvious how sincere that is. Advice: if you can't talk to a mechanic directly, go somewhere else. After all their moaning about not finding parts, I found them, bought them, and found several places that know how to service better vehicles who are actually honest, upfront and will not give you some speech about their business cost. If you ever encounter such a situation yourselves, just call the police over to handle it. I'd suspect Jesus would be waving his finger at how these people handled it. read more

Update #3 regarding a 2nd family vehicle this shop has serviced many x , at some point there apparently was an axle issue that instead of telling us about a mechanic ZIPTIED! In addition- same car has been taken here to determine oil leaking - many x paid for repairs rec at no time told it was likely the oil tank gasket & there's more than that! Keeping a car on the road is crucial but it must be SAFE! Not telling clients about issues destroys trust! You really lost 4 customers plus here ! Update #2 took vehicle to 2 other shops found the alternator was fine & this place wanted to charge my son $700. - having trust is crucial in any transaction! If it's not a trust issue then clearly someone working on ppls vehicles is not trained to do so ! Update: vehicle taken back as key was still stuck in ignition, told now it's alternator to tune if $700. Bear in mind my son paid over $800 previous day for said repair & all sorts of diagnostics inc a $45 charge to tell him he has exhaust leak which anyone could tell ! It was over $500 in diagnostics alone & couldn't determine there was an issue w alternator or battery after having it for 5 days w over $500 in diagnostic charges??! Outrageous & sloppy! Bear in mind we are a family of 4 cars -that's 4 customers lost! Orig. review: Repeat customers here ! After using this shop which was 4-5 stars! I rec them to my family ! My sons car went in for work took 5 days get it back had same problem had to go without car for a couple days again for same work ! My other son just got the ignition cylinder replaced bc his key was sticky -got it back today & the key is stuck apparent faulty part or labor ! Things like faulty parts should not be happening this often - 3x now in past couple months in my family tells me we cannot be the only ones ! Please be sure to run your biz with honor and integrity or you will lose 4 customers in my family! read more

One of the BEST experiences I've had with an auto shop! Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. They made the repairs I needed, and then told me about some other repairs they could do if I wanted. I said my husband would take care of that, and they zeroed out that cost on the invoice, but left the description so he would know exactly what to fix! We will definitely be coming back again! read more

You know that feeling when you don't know what's wrong with your car but it smells like a bunch of plastic decided to light itself on fire behind the back wheels? I was not excited about the potential expense but Heaven Sent Automotive made every step of the way enjoyable. My wife called and scheduled an appointment and they were very kind over the phone. The next morning when we took it in, the lady behind the counter had a pleasant demeanor and assured us that they'd get to it and call us as soon as possible. They called back a couple hours later and the problem was that a plastic bag had been caught on the exhaust pipe. They cleaned it off and had it ready before lunch. When we went in to pick it up, the lady behind the counter remembered my last name and the car that we had dropped off. The people working there were all very friendly and made the normally stressful situation easier to deal with. The entrance of the place was a little confusing because when you open the door you have to walk down a hallway before you see anyone, but it's not a huge deal. I will be taking my car back here any time it has a problem! Great people. read more

Have been working with Heaven Sent since I relocated to Franklin 5-years ago. Have always been treated well. Staff is always kind and thorough. I've used the same mechanic for years but recently moved to Franklin. My Subaru Legacy started leaking water so I took it to a place in Brentwood with tons of positive Yelp reviews. After paying them $150 for a diagnosis they came back with a quote for $2100 to fix the water pump and another $4000 worth of "work needed immediately". I knew the $2100 quote was WAY over what a reasonable cost should be. I went and picked up the car and brought it home. In the meantime my wife started calling around and got a quote for $1,400, $1,300 and Heaven Sent said it should be between $1,000-$1,100. We made an appointment for two days later. The repair was made in one day and came to $1100 and some change. They communicated very well through the whole process and it was a very good experience. Their prices are very reasonable and are posted in multiple places in the lobby. Today I took the car back for a brake job and had the same kind of experience as before. Good communication, good prices and great customer service. I recommended them to my son snd he has since used them to repair his vehicle. He told me he was very happy with them and will use Heaven Sent in the future as well. If your new to Franklin definitely give these folks a try! read more

Brian was amazing to deal with. I called on a Monday, he fit me in 1st thing on Wednesday morning. We went over the challenge with my Jeep Grand Cherokee after dropping off at 7:30am on Wednesday. Already had received a call with a diagnosis by 10:30am. TAKE your car here! Friendly team, clean and HONEST! read more

First time customer but came highly recommended. My daughters car was having a/c issues. I can do most stuff with the help of YouTube....as soon as I looked up some videos, I quickly decided that a/c work is a job best left to the pros! Dropped the car off Thursday night after hours with a note and a not-to-exceed dollar amount. I was hoping to get the car back before the weekend. At 9:10 Friday morning Heaven Sent called and told me they had cold air blowing, all was well and it was only $89! It's rare to find a company these days that is reasonable and honest on pricing AND exceeds expectations on delivery. They have just become "our" mechanics. Great work, outstanding experience. read more

This is a first class establishment run by real people who want to get the job done right and work until the job is done. I recently purchased an old Ford truck and it needed some updating. I had a hose bust over the weekend and had to have it towed to Heaven Sent. They were on it first thing Monday morning to determine the issue, ordered the part from the dealer(they always get the parts from the best priced, highest quality supplier) and had me back on the road before 10 am Tuesday morning. They take care of both my cars and I'm always pleased with the service. read more

We just moved to the Franklin, TN area and had a few warning lights come on our truck on the way down. I found Heaven Sent on Yelp, noted the positive reviews, and gave it a try. They were very clear up front on the phone what they thought they could do and what might be dealer items. In any case I dropped the car off and they tried to recreate the issue, but they were unsuccessful, and returned the car to me for no charge. All of my dealings with HS were professional and polite. I think I've found my go to automotive shop here in Franklin. read more

This shop is a scam, will never come back and would not recommend anyone to come here. They were not able to fix my car and still charged me on the way out. The "mechanic" attempted to explain what was wrong but ended up having to refer me somewhere else because he didn't know what was wrong. I brought it to gateway auto and it was fixed within 2 hours. Absolute joke of an auto shop. read more

Heaven Sent Automotive - Auto Repair Near Me - Franklin, Tennessee

My experience today, unfortunately, doesn't reflect the exuberance of previous customers. The oil change I scheduled four days in advance took an hour and 20 minutes. And they used the wrong oil for the engine. In their defense, they did call within 15 minutes after I left and offer to change it, and the filter, to the correct oil at no charge. That was very kind and good customer service but I declined since I was already at the dealership to have it changed back. One star for car care, 5 stars for customer care. That's a 3. read more

My wife and I recently moved to the Franklin area and brought our Lexus to Heaven Sent after the cross-country drive. They did a great job. More recently, when my mom came to visit, her older Lexus broke down about 80 miles out of town in the freezing dead of night, the Monday before Thanksgiving - so we had it towed to Heaven Sent, hoping they could diagnose it and fix it during the short Thanksgiving week. I am happy to report that Jody (the owner) made that happen! He did an amazing job replacing the alternator and a few other related parts and had the car back to us the next day. Highly recommend! read more

My wife and I have lived in the middle Tennessee area for over a decade. And we've always had issues finding a car mechanic we can trust. So when a friend recommended Heaven Sent Automotive to us a couple of years ago, it was like a breath of fresh air. Jody and his entire team are incredible. They are honest and trustworthy in an industry that historically has gotten a bad reputation. And the work they do is every bit as good (if not better) than the dealer....and at a fraction of the cost! Because of their expertise and knowledge, my wife's 1999 Honda Civic is running perfectly to this day. And this week, when I started having brake issues on my Nissan Sentra, I took it in right away, where they examined it within 30 minutes and personally walked me through the needed repairs and costs so that I'd know what to expect. So, needless to say we are big fans of all the folks at Heaven Sent Automotive. They do excellent work, and are just all around great people.
