"Seeing stars" is an idiom that has multiple connotations...one being the effect of a "knockout" (bad) or dazzling (good). Well, the title of this company is Discount Tire. In our recent experience, it could be renamed Dazzling Tire because that is exactly the service we received. Price...spot on! Or, to use another idiom..."on the money" for price and value. Service? Could not have asked for anything better. I set up an appointment to have my tires installed at my home. The crew showed up when scheduled and very courteously installed 4 new, balanced tires. (Didn't even have to pull the car out of the garage.) Quick, efficient, courteous...and...they have followed up with an email reminding me that I can stop by any of their locations (without an appointment) and have my air pressure and wiper blades checked for free. (Can I add another star for that?) read more

These guys rock. They get you in and out as fast as they can. Was amazed the service was quick and spot on. Thanks Discount Tire!!!!

Amazingly friendly, fast, honest service. From the customer service on the phone - to the store service with Noah - my husband and I agree we will never buy tires from anyone else. Also, shout out the clean waiting room and free water bottles. read more

Had to replace tire. Ordered from another location at 1030 am. Paid $25 but I believe I was forgotten! Called at 2 pm for update, found my tire and was not ready until 430 pm. Will not use them again. read more

Showed up with appointment and took a little while to get checked in but they found a screw, fixed for free and had me out in less than an hour. Will definitely go back when it's time for tires. read more

Discount Tire - Tires Near Me - Franklin, Tennessee

I bought my tire from Discount Tire, but when I went in to get it plugged it took them over 2 hours. For something that should've been quick, the wait was very frustrating and disappointing. read more

I have been coming to Discount Tire locations since I began driving as a teen, and this particular location for several years. I always appreciate their team approach, clear & transparent communication, deals/affordability around holidays, and their roadside warranty. Recently came with my bf here (needed new tires) and he was in and out early on a Saturday morning - took about an hour. Only issue is for a tire location, you'd think they would have promptly resolved the massive potholes affecting their entrance/exit - I learned to use the back entrance as these have been here for over a year now. read more

I just wanted to take a minute to write a review for Discount Tire, Franklin. My wife's car tire picked up a 4 inch bolt that could not be repaired. I decided to buy a complete set of new tires due to their age. Grady suggested a slightly different size with more rubber that was compatible with the vehicle. Considering the pot holes around town, I thought more rubber would be a fine idea. A couple of days after the tire install, I could hear a slight rubbing noise when in the car. I called Discount Tire and they directed me to come back and swapped the tires out for the original size that were more money, at no extra charge!!! They were very polite and professional and did the change very quickly. I can't recommend this shop enough! Great job, and what commitment to a satisfied customer. Thank You, Discount Tire Team, Kevin and Trudi K. read more

I can't say enough nice things about this place. Last Friday after a pretty grueling week I rolled in with a tire that needed a patch. Ethan got a work order right in and notified me that it would be a few hours wait. Unfortunately I was in the middle of doing apartment tours but he gave me some really useful insight into some buildings in the area that save me a lot of time. He was extremely courteous and professional, as well as an empathetic human. I will be using this business going forward. read more

Stood in line for 10 minutes with three guys behind the service desks. One selling tires, second having computer issues, third completed sale and did nothing for five minutes. I was told by three different gentlemen that I would be helped immediately. Finally after 10 minutes, they got to me. I cancelled my appointment, removed them from my contact list and drove down the road to NTB, got in immediately. read more

Greg and the whole team are wonderful in and out 30 minutes with two new tires definitely recommend going to this location

Have to give them some credit that they had the tire I needed when I had a flat and needed to get a new set same day. But after driving away, discovered that they had filled the 4 tires with greatly different amounts of pressure, with 2 of the tires dangerously overfilled to max capacity for the tire. I trust that folks working at a tire specialist will be experts on tires, so can only assume that they just don't care. My wife is fond of discount tire shops because whenever she needs a tire's air topped off, particularly when traveling, she can count on discount stores to have a quick drive up for air. But that was not true the last time I tried that at the Franklin branch. I drove around the building to find that they had hidden the "air here" sign in the back, and they had no place to handle air needs. I went to the car dealer to get it taken care of. A lot of discount tire locations are excellent. My experiences at this location have not been that way at all. read more

Hands down the BEST experience we've had at a tire place! We walked in and Jet was there to greet us and help right away. We had a nail in one of our tires and he personally fixed it and had us back on the road in 20 minutes. Thank you Jet for your kind and quick service. We will definitely be back!! read more

They left the center cap off of one of my wheels. It's a car from 2004. No one has ever lost it but them. Don't come here

This place is the best. Staff is courteous and prompt. They care about your car and get it done right and quick. Been coming here for rotations or repairs or new tires since 2021. Highly recommend. read more

Still good! Purchased tires here before and this time had a nail in the tire. There was a line when I got there, but their staff kept it moving and attentive with everyone waiting. Eric helped me out and he was fantastic. Two tires were low and one had a nail. They were really busy and quoted about a 1 1/2- 2 hr rate, but done like in 1hr & 10 mins. Appreciated that since I was trying to make a meeting. I have found that they're always great at communicating with customers, and setting service and time expectations. Plus, love that they have an App to track when your car is on the service bay and service is completed. Great turn around time for a busy day and I made my meeting! read more

I was visiting from out of town and needed to get home the following day, but developed a problem with one of the OEM tires on my Audi A6. While Discount Tire did not have those tires in stock , they were able to get me some Cooper tires that are getting the job done just fine. They were the only place in town able to help me on short notice. read more

Really great staff. Very friendly and the work was done quickly. I was very impressed with another discount tires years ago so I came back.

I brought my tire in for a minor repair, and one of the servicemen, while fixing it, accidentally damaged the tire beyond repair. When the manager, Gary G, explained what happened, took full accountability for the incident, and offered me a new tire at no cost.... I was surprised and immensely grateful, any story could have been conspired and run by me as truth. So I'm committed to keeping DTires Franklin my number 1 Go-To for tire service. Thank you Gary G. read more

Discount Tire - Tires Near Me - Franklin, Tennessee

We arrived at Discount Tire Saturday afternoon in Franklin after our usual hometown family owned tire company closed at noon. We were leaving on a holiday trip the next day and noticed a significant leak in one tire. They wouldn't help us since we called right before closing. They suggested buying a patch kit at an auto parts place. We thought we would try Discount Tire as we had heard so many good things about them. Well, they pulled out a nail in our tire and patched it for free! We will soon need a set of four new tires for our other vehicle so guess where we will be going. Discount Tire! Thanks again! Great customer service. Good Job :)! read more

New in town. Found this place. Best experience No pressure for high end pricey tire, work done on time read more

Service is great and little to no wait time. The store I normally attend treats me like it's a burden that I came in and frequently makes statements like well you can wait but it may be 4 to 6 hours and even then we may not be able to get to it. I'll definitely use this store again! read more

They had my husband's truck all day long. We went to pick it up. They said it would take another hour. We went out to dinner came back. They still had not put the tires on. We told them to forget it, we will take our business elsewhere. read more

All the staff is very friendly and helpful, and the nail lodged in my tire was fixed with no cost.

All the counter people do is answer phones with 10 people in line. Gave up after waiting 15 minutes.

Phenomenal job and cannot recommend this place enough for your tire services. They do offer walk-ins as well as appointments and do a very thorough job I stopped by at 5:15pm, to get a tire checked out and the guy that helped me out was patient and explained everything clearly to me. They not only checked the tire that I had an issue with, but also the other three as well!! read more

Great work, but bad communication. I came in at 9:30. They said bring the car by 11:30 am and we'll be out by 12:00. They delayed two times when I asked at 12:00 then 12:15, only when I confronted the delay. It's 12:40 and I'm still waiting. Their communication app didn't update to facilitate good communication either. read more

Stopped in mid-week on a rainy day. My daughter recently moved to Franklin and was having issues with the lock nuts on her older vehicle. I'm not sure why the previous owner had lock nuts on this vehicle anyway but I digress. Anyway, even with a star-key, we couldn't manually get the nuts loosened and I didn't want to leave and drive back to Houston knowing that if she had a flat, she would be stranded. Therefore, I brought it here to have them take it off and replace them with regular non-locking nuts. I was in and out in about 20 minutes. I'm not sure if that's normal in Franklin, TN but it's unheard of at any DT in Houston, TX. Yes, I realize Houston is slightly larger than Franklin and might have a few more people (smirk) but did I mention I was done in 20 minutes!!!! Needless to say, I was well pleased. DT nailed it once again. Good job!! read more

Construction in my neighborhood left me with one flat and one punctured tire. Nik was great on the phone and offered to get me in that day with no appointment. Jaxson helped me in the store and was great on getting me the right price tire and even verifying warranty to get me a discount. What started as a really stressful day they made super easy. I'll send everyone I know to this location. read more

The words to two hour wait time with an appointment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lotta people standing around, rolling two cars in the bay at a time

Always the best. No comparison. Customer service over the top. Nobody likes buying tires, but this is the place to do it.

They are so courteous. The service is quick and so reasonable! Their hours are great.

Usually don't take time to do a review but was concerned about the "shady" business practices going on at Discount Tires in Franklin TN. Twice now have gone in with two different cars with tires purchased from this discount tires store in last couple months. Both times we had a slow leak. The tech wanted to sell us new tires and refused to fix the leak both times or rotate the tire as I was told they would anytime when I purchased them. Tech told us tires were unsafe. Went down the road each time to Moody's tires in Franklin TN and they fixed and rotated. Had to pay because did not purchase from them. I asked if the tires needed to be replaced and they said we had about 10k miles left before we needed to replace. So not unsafe! Seems like Discount Tires needed another sale and didn't care about their customer or the environment. Shame on them. read more

I'm always impressed when I am there by how efficient they are with processing the cars, it's like Chic-Fil-A but for car tires. These guys are great, always give me an honest answer, never try and up sell me and always get a decent price. read more

This is a great place, our car started wobbling on our way to vacation because our tire was on the verge of blowing up pretty much. We had 600 miles more to go. The service was amazing and everyone was super nice and helpful! Super fast and good price and we were given a brand new wheel!! It was a very good experience and eased our stress because we were worried whether we'd get to our destination in one piece because the car kept wobbling and shaking. Best place especially in the midst of desperation. I would give this place 10 stars if I could. read more
