Josie is a rare find, she has expertise with dry cuts, and uses a special technique with layering that doesn't make the hair thin, or get split ends. Another reason I chose Tribe is their commitment to safer and more natural color products. It doesn't smell like chemicals when you walk in the door, that' s good sign. I'm chemically sensitive, but have no issues with their products. Josie is really good with color matching. My first color treatment was similar to what I've done in the past, and I liked it, but on the next visit wanted something bolder. Her next recommendation was to try violet, and I'm absolutely in love with it! It's fun to work with someone who will truly consult with you, and be open to trying new looks. I stopped by recently to buy hair products, and Josie showed me how to properly use them. Their at-home products are Oribe, same brand as the color line, I believe, and they are luxurious and effective. I'm now able to rock my style for multiple days between washings. Later, I realized the creator worked nearby and appeared to know the owner--he even stopped in during my appointment to ask to borrow staples. That made me question how unbiased the recommendation really was. This salon has a lot of potential, but the customer service fell short. I was the only customer there, yet I still felt overlooked and uncomfortable. Between the paid parking, the price of the service, and the overall experience, I don't feel it was worth the cost.

Jessica did an amazing job on my eyeliner! I drove over 700 miles to have my eyeliner tattooed on! I have recommended everyone I know to go see her. Having your eyeliner tattooed on you have to have someone you can trust to and not make a mistake. Jessica takes her time and in the end I have amazing results. I LOVE my eyeliner! I had my eyebrows and eyeliner done two years ago, and they still look great. I haven't had a touch-up on my eyeliner, but it still looks perfect. I had one touch-up on my brows in the summer, and the very next day had family photos. The photos look great, and it is not apparent that I just had my brows done.
