Had Jessica perform permanent eyebrows in Nov. Told her wanted 'hair stroke' and gave her eyebrow power that I use. Brows were nearly black and I am light brown. They didn't fade. Long story short, just went to a professional, Pam Horton who is doing numerous 'corrections' done by inexperienced artists. Jessica is a nice girl but needs more experience. She refused to give me the color and brand of ink used. I would not recommend her as she's a newbie, unless your are aware of that which she did not divulge to me. I can't say enough good things about Jessica and her skills. I had my first session done last year one was my hair stroke eyebrows and the other was my upper an lower lids. She was VERY accommodating, I was diagnosed with cancer again and was worried this time I was going to lose ALL my eyebrows and lashes because previously they had thinned out with each diagnosis and treatments (so glad I did because they are basically gone), so she created new brows for me and gave me lash enhancing liner which look fabulous. She took the time to explain everything to me and what asked what my expectations were, she measured everything for my brows to make sure they looked natural. I must tell you that people have no clue that they are not really my brows and they are so envious that my eyeliner always looks so perfect and never smears or smudges. I would definitely refer my friends and family to her, I liked her so much that I made a special trip from Washington state just to have her do my touch-ups. Don't waste your time with others she's the best!! I don't know what the bad reviews are talking about because jessica is awesome! I had waited 15 years to find the right artist and found her from a friend that got their eyeliner done. She did an excellent job so I entrusted her to do my eyebrows and I was not disappointed! I came in with my powder and she matched it just right. As with any tattoo, the initially coloring was very bold. But as it healed, it transformed into a wonderfully natural look- which is what I wanted. She recommended starting out with the brushstroke look and said that if I don't like the way it looks, we can always fill it in at a later time. I am glad she took the time to explain everything to me and made sure it was in my best interest. after all, I didn't want to end up with sharpie looking eyebrows!!!! now I'm excited for my next appointment with her (eyeliner!!!!!) read more

I've been wanting to have my eyebrows done for at least two years. Jessica came highly recommended by someone I trust, who knows the work of many permanent makeup artists in town. Previous to my appointment with her, I read all the reviews on here and checked out her Facebook page. When I called for the appointment Jessica was professional and friendly, and I was able to get an appointment the following week. Upon arriving at Walk the Line, I was immediately impressed with the peacefulness and beauty of the establishment. Jessica met me at the front door and we had a lengthy consultation. She was very easy to talk to and thoroughly went over the paperwork and my medical history. She applied the numbing cream during this time so it would have time to fully take effect. She explained the procedure, the need for a follow up appointment, the cost, and the after care. Following the consultation she took me into the treatment room. I'm a bit of a clean freak and was relieved to see everything was sterile and organized. Jessica took the time to explain the procedure, drew and redrew the proposed brows at least five times making sure they were exactly what I wanted. She explained the color options, how they would look on me and showed me pictures of her work. After about an hour consultation, she started the procedure. She explained the first part would be the most painful and I expected much more pain than I actually experienced. I was pleasantly surprised that the procedure and the "pain" was very short-lived and extremely manageable. It hurts much less than a teeth cleaning at the dentist! I am so impressed with Jessica's work that I scheduled for her to do my lips next week. I am also bringing my mother in to have her brows done. I too am a business owner and I appreciate that Jessica runs her business with a professional attitude. Walk the Line is not a swanky tattoo parlor. I find her prices very reasonable. read more

I got eyeliner put on my upper lids with a Groupon promotion for $159. It's been months and my lids still look great. I am a bit annoyed how that price did not include the retouch (don't get me wrong, her retouch is reasonable at $40 I think) when I have seen her offer the same deal on Groupon but for $99 instead of $159! Nothing I can do about it though. Although she did a good job I do regret getting it done. I still end up putting eyeliner in my waterline. Good thing is I had her tattoo me very lightly so when it fades, you won't see anything anyway because eyeliner will be over it. Also the procedure doesn't hurt because she numbs you good. I didn't expect though for 2.5 days to have my eyes be watery, have folded swollen lids, and basically not be able to see for a 1.5 days. I think I was the extreme case though. I followed all her aftercare tips. I knew this was a possibility (she gives you paperwork) and it was hell especially driving home from the studio (I should not have been driving as I could barely see!). I recommend you to have someone drive you! read more

Jessica is seriously SO AMAZING. She is such a perfectionist, and when she draws on your brows first she makes sure you are in love with them. She tattood my eyebrows better than I could ever draw them on. So symmetrical. Perfect length. The right amount of thickness. I purchased a living social deal for permanent eye liner after having several friends go to her with positive experiences. Jessica was very accommodating about scheduling me and she's very friendly and knowledgable. You are numbed but after 2 hours of tattooing I found the procedure to be pretty painful. I opted to stop a little early knowing I could come again in 6 weeks for $40 for a second session. I wanted pretty dark lines which takes longer and often more than one session to achieve. I was very sore and swollen for several days and had to ice often to help with pain. I'm already satisfied with the results and I think after another session I will be even more so. read more

I had my brows and liner done in late September. Jessica was very accommodating with my schedule and very professional. She did a great job on both - I love it! I did a lot of research on local artists and Jessica by far came up as one of the top artists. I love that she has an up to date website as well as a face book page - it shows that she takes her work seriously and wants to provide her clients with as much information as possible prior to procedures. I had them done about 3 years ago and they faded out quickly, also that session from a different artist was more painful than childbirth. Jessica is AMAZING! She is extremely professional yet makes you feel like you've been friends forever. I had wanted to get permanent liner on my top lids for a while and kept going back and forth on the decision until she had offered a Groupon for the procedure. I bought it and made my appointment. Her shop is clean and everything she uses is sterile and in its on packaging which made me feel even more at ease. She talks to you through the whole procedure and the time went by so quickly. She gives you instructions on how to care for the area that you had tattooed and tells you to never hesitate to call/text her if you have questions. I was so pleased with my eyeliner that when I went back for my touch-up I had my eyebrows done as well. Couldn't be happier with the results and now my routine which wasn't that long before has been cut down to less than 5 minutes!
