I never write reviews, but after visiting the office, I feel COMPELLED. I called the office and his…read morestaff told me it would be $950 for 3 PRP treatments. I had to pay $50 for a consult that wouldn't be applied to the treatments. I get to his office and he said no, $950 is for 1 treatment. I told him his staff told me the other price. He said he has new staff and they were wrong. Um, no, you should have honored that price! I took time off work and paid for a consult I would NEVER have gone to. I'm furious to say the least. He should have honored that price. I have no respect for people that don't own mistakes like this. I'll never go to this company for ANY services.

If I could leave negative stars, I would. Scam! My husband purchased a laser hair removal package…read morefor me last Christmas. It was around $435 for full legs and bikini line. He was told it was for a series of hair removal sessions to ensure that the hair removal worked. I went for 1 session right after Christmas. I was told it would take about 30 minutes. 5 minutes into the session the machine quit working and had to be restarted. That took 15 minutes to restart. 5 minutes later, I was "done". The esthetician had it set on a 2 because the machine had been used all day long and kept breaking down. I was told I had additional sessions with my package and not to worry. Tried to schedule several more sessions. They were always booked or the doctor was out of town and I couldn't get in. I did finally get a session but was sick and had to cancel. Kept trying to reschedule. No returned calls. No answer at their office. If you call 30 minutes before they close, they just hang up on you. So unprofessional! Finally was able to speak to someone today who told me my package had expired. Then put me on hold and came back and said it was for 1 session and I would have to pay for more sessions. I explained you can get laser hair removal anywhere for less than $100 per session and this was a lie because my husband had purchased a package. They said the esthetician who did my service was no longer with them and they would let the office manager know about my experience. I'm certainly not holding my breath waiting for a call from them. The laser hair removal did absolutely nothing for me. It was maybe 10 minutes of actual laser on the lowest setting. I will never recommend this place! It's a total scam!

I've been going to his office for facial laser treatments for 2 years. Previous laser tech was wonderful, caring, knowledgeable. She has since left the practice and I met Molly today for my annual laser touchup. I am so impressed with Molly's skill and professionalism! I am an RN and her care was very thorough and nurse-like! Her aesthetician training was in evidence with the pre- and post-treatment support she provided. As I'd never had laser treatments in the past I had nothing to compare to, but Molly gets it right. I witnessed her planning, assessment, action, reassessment...proper skin prep before, full aftercare with products she put into little containers to send home with me, detailed instructions. I highly recommend Molly and trust her judgement and skill.

I have only been here once since I received a gift card for a massage for teacher appreciation…read moreweek. The staff was friendly and helpful. The spa seemed clean, but one of the saunas was out of order the day I was in. The massage was great! The attendant asked me for my pressure preference and the aromatherapy was not overwhelming or overpowering. My massage took about an hour but I had access to the facility for the day. I did leave after an hour since there wasn't much to do other than the hot tub and one sauna. Overall, I enjoyed the services but I do wish they offered more, like a pool, salt room, or other amenities.

I like bringing my wife here, normally she's very relaxed and calm when I pick her up…read more Today, apparently they went out of their way to upset her, and in turn make me pretty angry. We've been paying for a membership now for two years, but we are certainly reconsidering that decision. First of all we traveled all the way from Southern California, and we actually went to buy swimwear as so she could enjoy the amenities, beforehand as she has done before. Today she ran into a receptionist who refused to grant her that privilege, I immediately told her I could pick her up, but she told me she'd be done sooner, according to them. She said that they denied her because it was to limit the exposure to heat prior to the injections? Did some recent study just get published that says exposure to a sauna, jacuzzi or a steam room before getting injected 90 minutes prior is dangerous? I just find it hard to believe that this policy is in place when she arrived well over an hour before her appointment for them not to allow her to enter the facility with a day pass is very unpleasant action. Then to tell her that they would see her sooner but subsequently fail to meet that objective and to make her wait the entire time without any word or update is atrocious behavior. Because they did not see her sooner they basically cheated her out of a large portion of her day. How is this acceptable? How do the owners think this is treatment their clients deserve? This is as nasty as the ring at the bottom of a public toilet. You stressed my wife out, and made her far more tense than when I had initially brought her! What exactly is the point of ruining her day? Why is management unable to make good on their word? Why lie to her? Is this how you treat the people who support your business? What she hoped to be a refreshing experience turned into a nightmare. How can we possibly continue to support such an establishment in good faith? Why travel from LA? Why buy swimwear? Why have a membership here? These are the questions my experience from today are leaving me with. It enrages me that you disappointed a loyal customer and she's too sweet and kind to say it herself but the only memorable moments she'll take are that you were mean and you lied to her, and she'll probably blame herself. Not the best wellness in my opinion. This spa clearly has issues that it needs to resolve before I'd recommend anyone bringing themselves or someone they cared about here. Stay away from places like this.

I follow the spa's social media as well, and the non-invasive before and after changes she helps people achieve are truly astonishing. I would recommend the spa to anyone for a number of things, from my grandmother to people my own age (38). At B.G. you are provided with honest, realistic, personally tailored goals and results that look amazing yet natural.

It pains me to write this, but here you go..... and a bit long…read more Bella Grey Medical Spa! If you do AI on what a Medical Spa is, this is the definition: A medical spa, or med spa, is a hybrid facility that combines the relaxing atmosphere of a day spa with medical-grade cosmetic treatments performed by licensed medical professionals, such as physicians, nurses, or physician assistants. 'These services are supervised by a physician' and go beyond traditional spa services by utilizing advanced technology for a range of non-surgical aesthetic and rejuvenation procedures like laser treatments, chemical peels, and injectables. So my first question/concern/issue is that 'these services are supervised by a physician'. This is most definitely not a Med Spa that is supervised by a Physician. Emily's credentials are MSN, APRN, FNP-BC. Clearly not MD, DO, anything that would indicate Physician supervised. So, IDK? What do you think? So let's move on to that it is a 'hybrid facility that combines the relaxing atmosphere of a day spa with medical-grade cosmetic treatments'. I dare that you to go here and think that any treatment you have feels relaxing. Like wow, Emily, the owner does not give off a relaxing vibe at all. In and out in 15 - 20 minutes. Please tell me, absolutely not that. Relaxing? Definitely not. And let's move on to my last treatment. $10/unit botox special! Wow, she absolutely over injected my forehead, I had welts and had a Botox headache for 3 days. Have never had that in all the times that I have had Botox (30 years+). And the IPLs I have had are joke. It's just zap, zap, zap - I think 3 minutes? Others that I have had provided numbing cream before and gave 2 - 3 passes. I bought a 6 IPL package, did 4 - what a mistake. So I am 65, not that that matters - but for 30+ years I have been doing Botox, IPLs, Sculptra, Fillers, had a Face Lift, Eye Lift - you name it, I have done it. Am I vain? Absolutely! (just wait until you're 65, ha!) So, Emily will come back and say that I am the worst patient, that I asked a question over the phone if I could do an IPL and Botox on the same day. She will say that I was argumentative, that I yelled at here (I absolutely did not). She will say a lot of things.... but IMHO - take your time with your patients, just saying. I would also like to add that I have been in Healthcare for my entire career. 45+ years. This is not a place I would recommend or refer to friends. Clearly there are a lot of options in Reno, in town, find someone that is compassionate, understanding of your needs and takes time to give you what you need/want. Obviously you are paying out of pocket - so yeah, do your research! Now reading Emily's response, these are now my words/my response: I was never rude, I did not yell at her, I was most definitely not slurring, omg! I just asked a question on the phone. Could I do Botox and an IPL same - she responded and I booked my appointment for an IPL and Botox. That clearly did not go so well. She wants to keep on with the banter, make me look bad (why would you do that to a patient) I'm good and I know that I would never go back to her! So any of you that are in your 50s/60s as I am - I don't think Emily is the right person for you, I think she's early/mid 40s-ish?..... Look for someone that understands you, your age, takes their time with you. And this is an interesting response, right? 'Again, please stop. I have several witnesses to your belligerent phone calls where you are incredibly rude, slurring your words, and asked to no longer be a patient here. Please stop.' Oh my goodness! Please get over yourself! Yup, please provide those several witnesses, really? Honestly, who would say that? I will say the same to EMILY! You are a Healthcare Provider that is not compassionate, completely Rude, completely and truly all about you. So yeah, Please stop! Yowza! At the end of the Day, why would you want to go to a Provider that feels like they need to blast their patients? Emily is self absorbed/all about herself. So done!

The doctor placed no Kybella under my chin, where the fat was located, instead he placed 3 vials of Kybella in my neck. I thought the placement was odd but he said there were arteries under my chin and it was dangerous. He said the small needle he was using for the injections could nick an artery. Trusting him, I let him proceed, I thought the Kybella must spread out from the injection points. After the swelling had gone down I started to notice loose skin, sagging, and crepeyness in the areas of injection. I asked the doctor if he was aware that this could be a side effect of Kybella, he told me he was. Well, the doctor never told ME, the patient, this could be an issue. Had he told me I would never have had it done. I went from a smooth neck to a neck with wrinkles, sagging, and SEVERE loss of elasticity. I gave the doctor the opportunity to correct his error, he offered another procedure which he made me pay for. This procedure did NOTHING to correct the problem. I called the office to see what else could be done and the doctor refused to work with me. When someone makes a mistake, professionally, I believe they should fix the mistake they created and not charge the client for their error. I believe, that they, in good faith should continue to work on fixing their error until it has been corrected. But most importantly, when it comes to medical procedures, I believe the doctor should disclose all risks, which Dr. Van Reken DID NOT DO!
