Town Pantry is my new go-to quick stop…read more I stop in almost every day for a $1.49 large fountain soda (the cheapest I've found in the area by far), but I've also had the pleasure of trying the breakfast bagel sandwiches (the sausage, egg, and hash is the best one), the incredible deep dish pizza for lunch, and they've saved me a trip to the grocery store more than once when I've needed cream cheese, an onion, or any other singular item my dinner recipe couldn't succeed without. The staff is friendly, especially the fiery red head who works most days, and the store is always clean and easy to navigate. Great little easily accessible and close to home corner store that I'll continue to visit as long as I'm in Winchester and as long as it's open.

The cashiers aren't particularly nice but they're not super rude either, and the place looks clean enough -- but it could use a little work. Some of the other customers can be a bit shady or suspicious, but they could easily think the same thing about me . With that being said, I usually come here for the famous Slurpees, but have been disappointed a few times when I came here and they either didn't have the flavor I wanted it the machine wasn't working altogether. 7/10.

I was so hungry last night and my first feeding session did not satisfy me -I had a KFC Box (three chicken tenders, popcorn chicken, coleslaw, potato wedges, biscuit and a Mountain Dew) followed by a Spicy Tostada from The Bell (same store). Sev was right next door so I headed over and got the 5 for $3 wings and a Gummi Ghost Slurpee. I asked the friendly Indian dude if he could make the wings fresh and he whipped 'em up in the Turbo Oven -it took maybe three minutes in this high-tech wicked-hot oven. Well, these wings were "scrump", incredible, hot, flavorful, juicy, etc. They put the capital "N" in "NomNomNomNomNom..." I cannot say enough about my experience. I was in "Sev"enth heaven. Five stars for Sev!

Once again, I go today to try to fill up my tank using my AMEX which I ALWAYS use to fill up my tank at other nearby stations. I never have a problem with using this card at gas stations. This Speedway takes AMEX but after I tapped the card to pay for the gas, the card wouldn't process. I pressed the Help button and waited. No one answered. I pressed it again about 4 more times waiting each time for someone to respond and no one did. I walked into the convenience store and the stupid lady behind the counter had no customers at the counter so was free to respond to my help request and then she asks me if I am at pump no. 8 and I said yes and why won't that pump take my AMEX. The lady starts making excuses and saying stuff I had to ask several times what is she saying because her statements didn't make any sense. She tried to tell me something was wrong with my card. The "card was declined" she said. I said this card has a zero balance and is used at other retail locations with zero issues ever. The pump actually showed a statement that the pump was "waiting for the cashier." The lady says I should put myself in her place and what would I do and I shrieked, "Fix the damn pump!" I left the station without getting gas and will NEVER go back. This is the fourth time I've tried to get gas at this station over the past few years and have always had an issue. Morons run this station and don't care about any issues with customers. The owners/staff are foreigners (originally) and you can tell they don't understand good customer service here in the US.
