I do think coupons and apps are better with other pharmacies, but, in a pinch, I'm happy to visit Walgreens because their prices are still a bit better. I'm also a fan of the Nice! brand they offer. This Walgreens location in Lake Mary is definitely ideal - there are plenty of places to eat nearby, as well as a Publix, McDonald's, and easy highway access. The staff is still very friendly, courteous and helpful; however, over the years their produce is hit and miss with regard to offering FRESH vegetables. I couldn't tell you how many times I purchased produce and had it going bad in just a couple of days, and had to return it. They are notorious for discontinuing great products and claiming they don't sell enough, but they have a wide variety of weird food that never gets discontinued and items I would never buy. Their meat prices are outrageous! Now, I must say their buy one, get one deals are wonderful! They have a great deli. The seafood department is just ok. My husband and I have been to many different Publix locations, which by far, is way better than the one at the Winter Springs Town Center. Oh, by the way, the name town center is a joke! It's just a glorified shopping center and the parking is atrocious! This location is very convenient for us as we are only about two and a half miles away. We'll stop in for some bread, milk, eggs, check out the bogos, but here is a good example of their outrageous meat prices. Both Publix and Aldi's sell Perdu ground chicken. Same weight, same packaging, but Publix sells it at a much higher price than Aldi's! The same goes for many other items that Publix sells, and Aldi beats their price. At Publix, their ground chuck is anywhere from $5 a pound and up. At The Fresh Market at Tuskawilla Rd and Red Bug Lake Rd, you can buy great ground chuck EVERY Tuesday for $3.99 a pound. You can also buy beautiful chicken breast every Tuesday for $3.99 a pound. Well, I could go on and on so I'll end it here. Not all Publix stores are great.

Since COVID, we have stopped shopping at the larger stores such as Walmart and stick more to smaller stores. Prices are higher on things like toilet paper, cleaning supplies, etc., but it's worth it to feel like we're in a safer environment. As I mentioned, this is a very clean store. The employees all wear masks and they enforce this with customers as well. They also practice social distancing. I've had photos developed here several times. I downloaded their app and uploaded photos. Within 20 minutes, the store had the prints ready to be picked up. It was very easy and I have been very pleased with the photos. I'be only had one prescription filled here and it was a nice experience. The pharmacist also came out in the store to help me choose a splint when I broke my fingers. She was so friendly and helpful. Love that this store is so close to my home and we'll continue shopping here.

I'll note that I had a wireless portable battery that worked with his phone, and our son we were traveling to visit also has a similar phone, so hubs didn't HAVE to stop for a new charging cable at this moment. But, I would have wanted a new cord ASAP, too. Initially, hubs thought he'd spotted an office supply store across the street from our hotel, so we could get extra cc points for this purchase, but once he realized it was a grocery store, we pivoted to try another store in the same plaza. Shelves were barren, though, and we found no charging cords. Then hubs remembered seeing Walgreens by our hotel so we drove back across the street. After hubs bought what he needed, he decided he wanted to take advantage of a BOGO half-off deal. So he went back inside & bought another cord for half price. I'm not sure exactly how that transaction went, but I know hubs returned to the car happy with his purchases. We'd definitely shop here again!
