I rarely go to CVS anymore , but they happened to have the better deal on printing a canvas photo. So I went there for order pick up. The customer service or LACK THERE OF, was appalling. How this store could even get away with employing such an ugly sarcastic worker - pretty sure his name was Josh, is laughable. He looked like one of those woke people who hate humans. Don't ever stop at this location, just keep driving. If my husband was with me, he would've punched him for his rudeness to me. I laughed it off because I'm too good for low end service, my husband? If you've been to one CVS, you've been to them all. However, this one was VERY organized, and the introduction of self checkout kept the lines down. The customer service reps were wandering the store stocking and open to help you find the items that you were looking for. We purchased several nail polishes, a couple of snacks, and some puzzles for future road trips. prices were average, and we were in and out relatively fast. Don't let the exterior dissuade you, because although this location is near a nicer intersection of Red Bug and Tuskawilla, there are a few shady characters stationed outside. Last night we were in the ER for 5 hours. Exhausted and because of the time we had no choice but to drive an extra 20 min to get tho this location to fill his medication. We arrived to see an annoyed clerk at the driverthrough at 10:30ish pm. She said she will not fill our order because we didn't know the Tricare Codes that they have on the Pharmacy cheat sheet and she wasn't going to look them up. We went to the parking lot to try to call Tricare and saw this clerk walking out of the building and to her car. She just didn't want to look them up. So, in massive 10 on a scale of 10 with him having to lay in pain in his seat with 5 bulging discs, we had to drive an additional 20 min. to get home, to look up on Google the codes she asked for (yes, you can find them on google.) We didn't know this until we received the recorded messages with no one available at that time for Tricare. Then, I drove another 20 min to try again, this time with everything written down. THIS time, I roll up with the codes and the lady says, 'I don't need them.' Then. I waited another 5 min and the medication was ready. What the heck?! Now you don't need them?! Now it's after midnight. Please get better clerk staff.When folks are coming from the ER, we have already been through enough and putting us through an additional 1.5 hours and driving almost another hour back and forth at midnight because your clerk didn't want to look up the codes on your cheat sheet. Don't go here, go to Winter Springs Pharmacy across the street instead. Without exaggeration, this CVS is the single worst Pharmacy I have ever been to. They were over a week late refilling my monthly prescriptions three times this year alone. I had to go through medication withdrawals one of those times as a result. They do not answer the phone, nor do they keep their online system current. It is always a massive line, whether drive through or in store, and you are lucky if they have your prescription for you when you get to the end of it. I couldn't even get them to transfer my prescription to another location. I had to go through my doctor and have them write new prescriptions. Conversely, since I've managed to transfer to Winter Springs Pharmacy, I haven't had a single issue. Further, they treat you like an actual human, filling your prescription in advance and personally calling you should any issue arise. Do yourself a favor: go there. read more

Pharmacy is not 24/7! This is something that I doubt the managing owner knows about and I say that because it's a paper sign while the exterior of the building signs and website all promote 24/7 pharmacy. My guess is that the employees have decided on lunch together as opposed to rotating lunch like every other 24/7 operation. This location is already a nightmare, I wish I had any other option but I don't. Last month I had to file an appeal with my insurance because these clowns told me my insurance wasn't verifying the drug. Well, hard for insurance to verify when you don't run the authorization in the first place. I actually dread coming here. read more

They said they would deliver today. They have not or even requested the deliver from their delivery company Shipt. Been getting the run around. This is directed at the pharmacy team, would you like this done to you. Need this to be fixed and rectified. Sent my feedback to corporate. I will contact department of insuranc, bbb and fda. Wasn't crowded, and plenty of employees working, but they took FOREVER to wait on me and then gave me a quote of 45 minutes for my prescription after filling as received for the 2 people in front of me. Pharmacy has terrible service and is under staffed. Have been waiting over two hours for a double ear infection medication for my 7 year.

I used to use the CVS on Aloma and Red Bug but they are closing for business and we were told our "records" would be transferred to this location. I had a prescription sent in 2 weeks ago and never heard anything from CVS. I went last week, inside the store and they told me that the medication is on back order. I still heard nothing and I called them again yesterday, where they informed me that the medication was on hold because the insurance didn't cover it. I was upset because there was no communication with me to advise me of this. I told them that the last CVS would apply a coupon and I would get it for a lesser fee. The person applied the coupon and of course it was accepted. I go to pick up today and have been in line at the drive through for over 45 minutes. This is terrible. They need to do better! read more

I would avoid this pharmacy at all costs. No real organization at all. I feel bad for the pharmacist, who was the only person really keeping it moving. Corporate needs to clean house and hiring people that focus on productivity. The total time to process one prescription was 3 hours. After two hours I sat and waiting on medicine for a child's ear infection, it was non stop phone calls that no one seemed to acknowledged. They never answer the phone. It takes forever to get service. Today, I dropped off a prescription to be be filled and was told it would be ready later today and I would receive a text. I never got a text. The website was down. I called and after going through automated hell managed to finally reach a human being, only to find the order was never put in to be filled in the first place. And things like this happen all the time. Unfortunately, because my meds are schedule II, it's super difficult to transfer to another pharmacy. I came in for a passport photo and was very pleased with the service. I asked one worker where to go and she walked me over and had another employee help me. There was some technical difficulties with the camera and uploading the pictures but they were both very kind about it and easygoing. The store itself seemed a little messy as there were a lot of boxes behind the counter and things all over the counter but I'm not sure if they had just gotten a delivery that day. I was in and out within 10 minutes and it was super easy. They also had a $2 off coupon for the passport pictures! read more

One employee was awesome. She went over and above to help with the disaster that is this place. I wish I knew her name. Black lady working reception was awesome, but uninformed. Heres what happened... I scheduled an appt for a DOT online for Sunday. My schedule changed so I went to do it as a walk in on Sat. Black lady told me they were about to go to lunch but I could get an appointment later today. I had tried to schedule online and was told none available. I used the touch screen, entered my info and the screen crashed and didnt accept my appointment. Black lady tried, went through the whole thing had same issue. Figured it was because they were about to take lunch. She wrote down my name and # and promised to call me after lunch. She called I gave info to get appointment...it crashed again. She got another employee to help her got me scheduled for A DOT physical at 3:20. As I was leaving my house a different person called me and told me NO ONE WAS TRAINED TO DO DOT PHYSICALS AT THIS LOCATION, and wouldn't be until Monday. I asked Why I was able to schedule an online appointment for Sunday if no one was certified. Her reply " I guess they assume someone's certified." She then told me to go to the Altamonte Springs location. I replied that I called them and was told they dont have a Minute Clinic at that location. She told me they do according to her list. I again told her I was told they didnt when I CALLED THAT LOCATION. Her reply was "Well not every CVS has one." I asked why the staff member who tried her best to help me didnt know that they couldn't do a DOT physical and she didnt respond. She told me to call a toll free number to find a location that could do one. I called the number and the automated system hung up on me twice. I called a third time and was put in Queue for a person. Over 40 mins and still holding. Wife found a Doctor that charged $50 less than CVS for the physical. Went to their website set up an appointment and filled out the new patient forms in 5 minutes. Still no one taking my call. I was supposed to start a new job Monday but because CVS is as useless as a screen door on a sub I may lose my new job. FUCK CVS! I will never buy anything from them and tell everyone I know to go to Walgreens instead. BTW The above still not as long as a CVS receipt for a pack of gum. read more

Slowest and worst pharmacy I've ever used. I know it gets busy there but there's no reason I should wait in pick up line for 40 minutes and then when I get to front I wait 20 more minutes because they are incapable of helping two lines at once when there was at least 6 people in there. Not one word was spoken to me in that 20 minutes. You can definitely see the annoyance on all the cars Behind me as well, this is a common occurrence. Definitely not just a one time thing. Get it together. Most of us come here for medication because we are sick or in pain and the fact that your employees, as many as you had staffed, we playing around and having a blast couldn't managed to help the other window while the second window person was waiting for his to be filled is sad. They tell you prescriptions are there but then they don't have enough or they aren't actually in stock yet but will be in a few days and just don't tell you upfront. They have lines out the door everyday and only 1 person at the counter. They give you a 20 minute wait time, but you'll really be there over a hour. Whoever is the hiring and scheduling needs to do better. I went to ask a question about a otc meds just to see if my father could take it and I waited for over 15 mins at the consultation window until finally walking out because they see you there and just don't care. I would give negative stars if it was an option. First time using this pharmacy, I had my prescription sent over electronically from my physicians office. I waited about an hour and made my way over. No text message or confirmation was sent. When I arrived the tech stated that it was not ready and that it would be an hour and a half longer. I left and came back almost 4 hours later, the prescription was still "not ready", I'd like to note that it was a cream, prepackaged from a distributor. They stated 30 additional minutes, came back 2 hours later and was told "still working on it". After an hour longer, I was able to walk away after watching the tube come off the shelf, into the paper bag, and into my hand. By far the worst experience I have ever had, anywhere. First and last experience with CVS pharmacy. ANYWHERE else would be your best bet. read more

Should be investigated by the police, fraudulent pick up dates for every single one of my meds, one they say I picked up yesterday... I didn't leave the house yesterday. Can't prove how, and ignore the fact that I have paperwork for every single prescription showing I picked them all up on the same day last month. I don't know who, but I believe someone at this pharmacy is stealing medication due to the above discrepancy. It is difficult to actually review these types of stores. Mostly they are all the same but the differences seem to be in customer service and cleanliness. This particular CVS is kept very clean. The customer service is typically very good and you rarely have to wait in line. One of the things i like most is how the employees seem to help each other out. When the register line is full, the photo center will call you over to ring you up so you can get out quicker. For the little essentials needed throughout the day, I like to go to this CVS. Add in the fact it is literally a few hundred yards from the house and this is the perfect place to get those items. read more

This happened on Oct 5 th 2022, I made flu vaccine appointment online and they just sent texts to cancel the appointment the last minute, 3 times. The online only shows availability at 4 pm or thereafter. They canceled me 3 times on 3 different days. I came in the 4 th time on October 5 2022 and a female pharmacist rudely said we don't have an immunizer stand we are busy right now so I can't give you flu vaccine, come in the morning. I said there was no availability in the morning for a week. She basically said there's nothing we can do. I tried to get flu vaccine for the past 2 weeks and CVS canceled my appointments 3 times. Why do they even advertise flu vaccines ? Apparently they couldn't deliver it. This place is at great location. But every time I came here , I waited at least 30 minutes in line just to pick up my medication. They never filled the medications correctly. If they don't have it in stock or problems with insurance, they never called to let you know. So you. And and waited for 30 minutes at the cashier and found out either they don't have it in stock, or other problems. Staffs including some pharmacists are not friendly at all. After hearing this place canceled my flu shots 4 times , store assistant manager asked the minute clinic to give me the flu shot. I waited for an hour at the minute clinic to get flu shot. I should go to Publix pharmacy but my insurance is only affiliated with Cvs. I've been to this pharmacy for years, wrote many reviews and nothing has been improved On Oct 10 , I was the only customer in line to pick up 1 prescription medication and 2 OTC products. Cashier (with the ring nose and lip); she doesn't have a name tag so I don't know her name, was rude, unprofessional and unhelpful. None of the technicians, cashiers and even pharmacists has name tag with credentials. I believe the Florida board of pharmacy will fine $10,000 for each person working in the pharmacy without any name tag with credentials. I just asked the cashier to run up the OTC again since I have activated the coupon already. She told me I had to bring the OTC up front to pay. I refused because i would like to pay my prescription medication and OTC all at once with my Health saving Card. She told me she doesn't see the coupon. I said just please ring them up again and it would work. She was feisty and very unwillingly to do that. Instead she spent extra time to call whoever from the store to come and ring it up for me. While she could use that time to ring up the products for me. She just wanted to be mean about it and refused to do her job. There was one more customer in line who has been waiting literally 5 minutes and she let me waited for whoever from up front to ring them up while helped the one customer who came after me and had waited for 5 minutes. It took 2 minutes for the lady from up front store rang it up with the coupon without any problems. But this pharmacy cashier refused to do that. I asked for the cashier name and no one gave me her name. I mentioned to the older Caucasian pharmacist (who wore no name tag either) that I'm a pharmacist also and he just smirked and snickering. It's against the policy and Florida regulations that no one wears name tags with credentials at this store. Of course the cashier jumped up and said she just came in (while this has been going on for 10 minutes and she still doesn't wear name tag). It took literally one minute to put the name tag on. I mentioned she was unwillingly to ring up the products for me to pay. The pharmacist of course made an excuse that it might needed the override from the store. I said no it didn't need any special overrides , took 2 minutes for cashier up front to ring it up without any problems. The rude attitude, unwillingness to do their job, the unfriendliness, the unprofessional of every employee at this store is baffling to me. read more

Please improve your COVID testing processes. 1. Cvs test registration states that we must arrive at least 30min before. We are refused service until the time of the appointment - not even checked in while we wait. 2. Staff late - unavailable for scheduled appointments. 3. Misdirection. When staff directs you to come back any time before 4pm, please mention an hour lunch that the nurse goes to. When patients are unwell, coming several times for a test, or waiting 30min in the car is not ok. read more

Pathetic excuse of a pharmacy. Was denied pain medication due to a broken collar bone. The reasoning was because I didn't have a account there?! Ok, so let's make a account what's the problem? THEN the young gentlemen that I wish I took his name down comes back and says we have to save what pain medication we have here for current customers!!!! I went down the street to Walgreens and got my medication with no issues. I mention to them what this cvs location just did to me and the pharmacist said what they did was beyond wrong and absolutely no reason to do what they did to me.
