Everytime I've come here which is just a handful of times I was able to find everytime I needed with great customer service. I also feel this place isn't ever too crowded so it is easier to navigate through the isles. I usually come here to get refills for my vitamins and I like the array of selections that they have here with various brands to choose from. It always brings a smile to my face when I see the giant squishmallows hanging off the toy isle. Walgreens has the daily things that you need. read more

Went in to pick up a picture and process a return. Thank goodness I checked the folder because the picture was blank! They moved extremely slowly and the manager on-site for the day Peggy seemed very uninterested in assisting. The worker Brian was trying to tell her about what was happening with the system and she offered no support and was short with him. She was rude and offered no customer friendly service to me at all! They were all kids working in there who clearly did not know what they were doing. A quick errand turned into an annoying and timely experience. Avoid going to this store! read more

So thankful for the pharmacist here. I forgot my meds while traveling and she found a solution to get me my meds. The pharmacy assistant/cashier, although was nice, was not helpful at all. She was confused, slow in helping customers, and had an "oh well" attitude when we as patients need our meds. We found only incompetence in the staff. 1. very difficult to talk with staff behind a thick plastic barrier. This was never the case at Rite Aid, which sadly went out of business. 2. No real effective system to get a return call from the pharmacy. Very very poor and prompted our switching to CVS. 3. Very poor communication skills with staff in the pharmacy. The pharmacist, Franchesca, was incredibly rude and condescending. When I asked a simple question about my prescription, she responded with attitude and made me feel like I was wasting her time. There's absolutely no reason for that kind of behavior, especially in healthcare. Pharmacists are supposed to help patients, not talk down to them. If this is how Franchesca treats customers, I'd recommend going elsewhere where professionalism and kindness still exist. read more

Worse pharmacy ever, the person working at the counter today Saturday February 7th at 10:00 a.m. Clearly needs customer service skills. I was the first in line, she asked for my name got my medication and instead of completing the transaction she decided to take other people behind me, and when she finally decided to continue helping me she just said put your last four digits, at that moment I didn't even know if she was talking to me. This employee is the one with the fake thick eyelashes, so rude and disrespectful, when I tod her I had another medication she simple said "there's nothing else under that name" not even checking the system or the rack to see if I had another medicine to pick up. I never felt so insulted and treated with such a disregard for a customer as this morning. I hope she gets transfer to another department where she doesn't have to deal with customers because clearly she doesn't have the skills or the personality to be in that position. I placed my order at 8:45ish pm to print some documents online since normally it would be ready to be picked up the same day. I arrive at 11pm and waited until 11:25pm for someone to tend to us (another lady was there waiting too). I had to press the assistance button so someone can come out and finally, the cashier came by the name of "MD" and he said that the order is not ready yet. The estimated pick up was 9:26pm. He said that he didn't know how to print these documents and that the printer didn't have paper when clearly he was grabbing paper that does fit the printer. He said he couldn't help me and to Come back tomorrow. I needed these documents tonight as they are/were very important. I have been here a few times around 11pm in the past and I've had other employees help me just fine. I was hi estoy disappointed as I relied on Walgreens to print my documents in the past and have normally come through but this time, I was truly disappointed. @management, you guys should maybe train your staff on how to use printers. read more

I went to this pharmacy because my local pharmacy was out of the prescription I normally take and it was close to my place of work, but far from where I live. They interrogated me in front of other customers picking up prescriptions and made me feel like I was lying about why I was there and trying to illegally acquire a medication. I felt extremely embarrassed and disrespected. They then inputted my insurance card incorrectly which exacerbated the issue and made it seem even sketchier to be there. I will never go back to this pharmacy, I would rather never take my prescription again than to be made feel like I was being facetious. To be questioned and treated like I was, was terrible and I would never want other people to feel the way I felt, especially when it comes to sensitive patient information and receiving care for medical conditions. It's very hard these days to work jobs were the environment is rough the The hours are long and sometimes not everybody's friendly. But somehow the store manages to survive all of that the store is incredibly clean. The staff keep this place impeccably clean the parking lot free of shopping carts blocking spaces LOL and most importantly if you have a question it didn't seem that no matter where I was in the store everybody was very helpful these people work hard customer service is very difficult we have a bond it's important to be good customers and thank them for the work that they do because nobody's job has to be making our lives easier and it shouldn't be expected I'm very thankful for the store because they made my life easier. Jorge went out of his way twice to help me find an ear care product That I'm sure would have required a nuclear satellite but he was able to do it and less than three minutes after I spent 45 minutes LOL he was kind enough to notice my confuse look and have my problem solved it's employees like this and many other people that work at the store whose names I did not get it make me grateful that there's places like this they were very helpful read more

I feel like I'm turning into the covid test and covid antibodies test queen. Swabbing left and right! I've been to this Walgreens twice now, in addition to CVS and other locations to test regularly for a variety of reasons. I first tested here as they are a trusted partner location for entrance to Oahu and most recently on my return from vacation. They used LabCorp the first go round and on my most recent visit the lab was changed to Aegis. These test seem to take a bit longer to receive results than the LA city Curative Topanga location I was frequenting often but... the test time is often a bit shorter here. You drive thru the pharmacy and conduct the test there. I'm usually completely done within 5-20minutes tops but instead of receiving the results in about 24 hours these seem to take at minimum 72 hours with my most recent taking 4 days. CVS advises, that if you are testing for Hawaii -do not use them. This is the reason I originally used Walgreens but also scheduled a CVS visit the same day and CVS came in sooner. I think due to the holidays and up tick in numbers or whatever, testing is just all around taking a bit longer. Stay positive, test negative they say and that's exactly what I'm doing! I've never been inside this Walgreens but I'd say if you are using them for covid testing purposes, don't expect a real speedy turn around and they don't do rapids. read more

I made an appointment for vaccines at a time where there was lots of availability. I show up at the correct time. I asked the Consultation person where to wait and she said "you must get in line and when you get to the front we will help you." I explained that I had an appointment for right then. She said "it doesn't matter, back of the line." The lines was 15 people long. I've been forced to wait in that line before and the reviews on slowness and incompetency are accurate. This is the worst store to order for "pick up" or "side curb" . I understand things happen and maybe short staff can be an issue at times but today while picking up my online order there was only one associate working at the register. My order was not ready. i went out to my car and i came back inside again to ask for my order again while the associate took care of the line she had. I think this location lacks on organizing staff based on busy hours or just in general. There is definitely a huge lack of "TEAMWORK" that could facilitate certain issues. The parking lot is like wading through hot trash and the inside of the store is a slightly better. This review is mainly for the pharmacy. When a pharmacist gets to you, they are pleasant and helpful but the line is reminiscent of going to the DMV. Not sure what the problem is...I attempted the drive thru pharmacy on 3 different days; Friday 12/2, Saturday 12/3 & Monday 12/5 and each time, it was closed. Although the staff is friendly and the store open late, there always seems to be not enough staffing... im know they loose a ton of sales bc if something from a locked area is needed (cologne/ perfumes, razors, body sprays, manicure and beauty item, press-on nails), u press the button and wait and wait and seems like no one ever comes. Went to pick up medications for my wife and I saw not one, but 7 rats run across the parking lot into the back where the pharmacy is. Manager of the store told me to come back in 2 hours because she was going to reprint it for me. 2 hours later they called me to tell me they can't do it because it has been 5 days and after and I need to re-submit my order and it will be ready by end of the day. I hate to pick on Walgreens because I really like them. But going to Walgreen's has not been a pleasant experience in the Coronavirus Outbreak. I'm afraid that so many retail stores Everywhere are Experiencing the same kind of problems. The Coronavirus is caused by POOR PLANNING BY THE GOVERNMENT & BUSINESS ALIKE, NO ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS, NO FEDERAL & STATE LAWS. The BIGGEST ONE however IS NON COMPUTERIZED COMPUTERS ! LOL! Yes it's true. Then it's the HAND WASHING & SOCIAL DISTANCING. We should all be on the same page but we aren't. I can see how the virus can spread like Wildfire even when a Stay in Shelter Mandate is in place. I will tell you my journey & it's a journey that many people can relate to. I now see all the holes in our system that shouldn't be there. I was looking for a thermometer any one will do. Amazon was sold out Walgreens sold out in stores but on their website had a digital ear one it says its available a 1/2 an hour drive from me. I decided to combine my trip & "ONLY GET WHAT I NEED" as per government recommendations. I needed some Bottled Water, Paper Towels & 1 Thermometer. I drove a 1/2 hour to Van Nuys Walgreens with no Traffic & they have no thermometers even though the website clearly says they do. The employees said that info is not in real time on the website & can sometimes take a few days to update. HUH? I made an unnecessary trip 1 hour round trip because of The Non Computerized Computer NCC. Incidentally 4 hours later on the website they say they still say they have them. So people are making trips in vain. There should be a button on the app so that I can physically buy it from that store & just go & pick it up & the store gets an immediate notice so that item can't be put on the floor because it's sold. That technology seems simple but it doesn't exist. NCC problem again. Even if it's sold out if I am a Walgreens member I should be able to be put on a waiting list then they can notify me when it's back in stock & I can buy it Online or at another store somewhere near me. They don't have that technology either another NCC problem. I ended up going to 6 stores & a Refill Station to get just a few items - 2 Walgreens, a CVS, a Vons, Rite Aid & Target & an Osmosis Water Refill Station. I did finally get everything after 3 hours out & picked up a few Food Items too. Now I see why people are hoarding if you don't get it now you'll have to go to many stores & expose yourself to the virus just to get just what you need. Mind you I wasn't even Food Shopping. Ridiculous. As soon as there is a pending pandemic or an Emergency that hits - EVERY CITY, TOWN, STATE OR NATION Instantly should go into Overdrive there should be THE EMERGENCY FOOD & HEALTH ACT Coast to Coast that goes into affect at all grocery stores, drug stores etc. All 50 states need to hop aboard on this one. The sign goes up No more than 2 FOOD ITEMS per person on EVERYTHING FOOD RELATED & 1-2 on HEALTH RELATED items like 1 Thermometer I don't need 2 behind the counter with Cough Syrup, Cold Medicines etc. All Big & Small Retailers Nationwide should all get together & do it themselves & sign up without government intrusion. One Food item per person only makes people come back again every day. Two Food Items per person then they can stager the crowd daily & the system is not overloaded with everyone coming at the same time. That way there won't be hoarding & people won't be going from store to store looking for stuff & spreading germs all around unnecessarily. When people feel that things are Organized, Stores are going to get Shipments, Rules are in place, People know what to do; THEY WON'T PANIC & THEY WILL STAY IN PLACE & FOLLOW THE RULES! PANIC CAN CAUSE DEATHS! All Retailers Nationwide Like Amazon, Costco, CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Ralph's, Walmart, Vons, Stop & Shop & countless chains & independent stores should all get together & sign on & Be part of the Solution without government intrusion. We Desperately Need Leadership, Cooperation & Unity in the Private Sector. If that happens lots of catastrophic situations can be avoided. PHARMACY-SPECIFIC REVIEW: Disorganized. Rude. Smug. The epitome of dangerous hubris. I wouldn't wish this pharmacy on my worst enemy. They shouldn't be allowed to dispense gum. Here's the horror show I've been dealing with: Two prescriptions were called in on August 8th. These were refills to me, but I'd never picked up from this pharmacy before. I moved a year ago and hadn't needed refills during that time as I use these medications sparingly. (My old pharmacy was not a Walgreens). I don't get a call or text after 3 days. I tried to call but no one picked up (ever), so I went to the drive-up after 6 days, on August 14th. There was no one else in line. I rang the bell. Was asked to wait. 10 minutes passed. I rang the bell again. I was asked to wait. 8 minutes later someone asks how they can help me. There's horrific banging/construction noises and I could barely hear them. I gave them my name and birthdate. They told me no prescriptions were ready and none had been called in. I asked them to check again. 7 minutes later they returned to confirm they did get the prescriptions (on the 8th) but they weren't ready. After 6 days. I was told I could return in 2 hours to pick them both up. I left after almost 30 wasted minutes. I couldn't make it back the same day so I went the next day, on August 15th. 16 minutes of waiting. Then I'm told...no prescriptions were ready, none had been called in. I explained everything that happened yesterday. They looked again. Found them again. One medication (for ADHD) they were out of. (Note: My doctor called it into CVS and I got a text within 90 minutes that it was ready). My second prescription (for anxiety)? The pharmacist asked my doctor for additional information... I called my doctor's office. The pharmacist was requesting my session notes. The private notes about my anxiety condition that I've had for 15 years. I approved this because I'm not ashamed of my anxiety, but I couldn't believe it. Even though this medication had been prescribed for me before with no problematic side effects the pharmacist insisted on seeing my notes. On August 17th I called Walgreens again to see if my prescription was ready. I was told they were still waiting for my session notes. I called my doctor's office, they told me they'd been faxed and confirmed received on August 15th. I called Walgreens, told them they confirmed receipt of the notes two days earlier. I was then told the notes were "under review." On August 18th I called Walgreens again. The guy who answered the phone told me the pharmacist reviewed my notes and was DECLINING TO FILL THE PRESCRIPTION because there was "NO CLINICAL JUSTIFICATION FOR THE PATIENT'S USAGE OF THIS MEDICATION." So, a stranger I've never met decided they know better than me, my prescribing doctor, and 15 years of successful mitigation. I'm disgusted by this place. I've filed a complaint with the CA State Board of Pharmacy because I want to spare others the stress and anxiety I was put through, not to mention the time that was wasted. I feel sorry for anyone who works here who isn't incompetent and awful, because I dealt with incredibly inept people who had no bedside manner whatsoever. read more
