I arrived at opening and immediately headed for my favorite location, to the left, wigs and specialty make-up! I honed in on the EBA line and it wasn't long before Kassie approached, smiling and offering assistance. I explained what I needed, the black, but then we started talking shop and I decided to grab another color to break up the too white I was reading on the skeletal bone section of the make-up. Better grab some EBA sealer, as well as some 99% Isopropyl to save me an extra stop at the drug store. Well, shoot, while I'm here...(which is the phrase in my head that ALWAYS gets me in trouble!)...what would she suggest for a VERY light, and fast, latex application for a small effect on the cheek? We discussed a few options, then determined freehand would be the best, and those supplies I have already. Ok, so maybe I go ahead and grab a couple more gelatin products just to be on the safe side for a different character being created the following week. Anything else she could suggest for barrier protection, aside from what I already have? Nope, looks like the 3 products I have should work for any of these mediums. I appreciate that Kassie is so knowledgable and seemed focused on helping rather than up-selling. I thanked her and went to the register, where Christina was ready and happy to get my pro info, ring me up, pop a couple samples in my bag and wish me luck on the look.
