i'm a professional nail tech and this is my go to spot for all my nail supply needs. it's a classic vietnamese owned supply store with everything a full salon would have. from full jugs of acetone to the recently dropped chaun legend collection, they have it all! nail files, buffers, cat eyes, walls of dnd. it's a perfect spot whether you're a nail novice or professional. *but please do research and be cautious if you're doing it for fun* the prices are fair and most things are retail, with some exceptions/deals. but even with things they can easily mark up, i notice they don't (: i love that this spot is local! sometimes i like to do my inventory shopping in person rather than amazon. i see a lot of comments of the workers being rude, but honestly i don't think its rudeness, they just don't have that typical american over the top customer service attitude. but i've asked for help before and there's never a problem! only thing is i wish is that it was bigger for more space and more supplies lol! it is located in a tight plaza with minimal parking. it is also next to a pho restaurant and great small asian market! read more

I have always used the Kiara Sky drill and after 4 years it finally gave out on me so I decided to go to my regular nail supply which I LOVED. However one of the guys that was working there talked me into getting the Kupa drill which was well over $350 but I thought hey I should just invest in a high quality drill. I also purchased a dust collector and a few other things so my total was around $800. Not even a week goes by and the drill stops working. So I decided to go back to see if there was anything they could do for me since I had just bought it. Remind you I'm a regular client there. I never spend anything less than 200-300 per visit and they know me there. When I arrived I explained the whole situation about how my drill wasnt working and the SAME man who talked me into buying the drill was so rude and unhelpful. He told there was nothing he could do because the box was opened and that I needed to go through Kupa's warranty. He then spent 30 minutes trying to ask me dumb questions as if I've never used a nail drill in my life. I told Him I've been doing nails for 5 years so I know how to use a drill and he kept putting different nail bits in the drill and testing it out all for him to tell me there was nothing he could do. I told him it was his responsibility to replace my drill since it hadn't even been a week since I bought it and going through Kupa would take weeks and I had a full week of clients. He quite literally laughed in my face and said that all nail techs he knows have back up drills just in case something like this happens and that was on me for not having a back up. I told him this shouldn't have even been happening if I just bought this very expensive drill but he just told me to contact Kupa. Worst customer service I've ever received. Unfortunately I won't be going back because their products are untrustworthy and you won't be receiving any help on there end read more

I really enjoy this beauty store they have a wide selection of nail products. I came looking for acrylic powders because Sally's had very little options and small containers and I was so pleased. The containers are pretty big and good for the price. The guy who knows two languages was very sweet and helpful unlike the older man who doesn't speak English. The reason I'm giving this four stars is because the nail polishes did look old I tried shaking some to see the color but it didn't even blend well. So for acrylics and dip powders they are great for basic nail polish and gel not so much. read more

Ive gone here for years, and the owners were never nice, but one day I went in bought a defective machine, came in before the 7days as stated on the sign, and the manager yelled saying he couldnt take it back because the box was open....I came back again and he wasted 30min of my time trying the machine, just to tell me that i couldn't return it because it was past the 7days and belittled my mother and I, saying we were incompetent and didn't know how to use the product, when I've used the same brand for years. Aisles are super NARROW (if you turn around you will damn near bump into the other side of the aisle) Large selection of nail polish, supplies to do your own acrylic nails, files, foot spas, & expensive hair dryers. etc I even noticed hair colors in the back The employees will not approach you and ask if you need help...you just have to walk up and ask questions. My family been coming here for their nail supplies for the last 15 year plus. Now I'm coming here and hopefully another 15 years longer. They have great selection from OPI, gelish and more. They give great deal when you buy a lot. The staff are very helpful since of them are manicurist in the past. Parking can get crazy because of the BangLuck market next door. Not the best prices and is not at the most convenient of locations but they do carry a large selection of nail supply's. There are several men who work there who are very nasty and act like they're doing you a favor taking your money in exchange for their products. However there are two gentlemen one younger, one older who are extremely nice (the older man doesn't speak much English)thoug. It's the only place in town that I can get everything I really need. Hello wholesale beauty supply! I've always assumed you needed a cosmetic license to purchase name brand products on the low, but I guess not! Came on a Sunday morning with a girlfriend of mine. The place was empty. We had our pick of nail polishes galore. Essie, CND Vinylux, and OPI for $4.95! It was amazing. I also found a huge pack of 100 full size wax strips for only $6.95. Sally's Beauty sells half the length for $5.00. I definitely will be visiting this place whenever I'm in the valley! *FYI* they only accept credit card on purchases of $20 or more. I love to come here to get supply for my mom, It's a family own beauty supply store. Vu, the owner" son is so helpful all the times that I've been in. They carry a wide range of supply from salon furnitures to products; they carry all the good brands (OPI, Orly, Essie, Creative, Etc.,) good nail polishes and everything you can find for nail products. They do not carry any hair product of any sort. Although I do see that their prices are a few bucks more than other supply houses like in LA, San Grabrial Valley, or Orange County. But I know that everyone in the San Fernando Valley comes here to get a quick fix of what they had ran out. Also, they do deliver. I'll always be a customer!! read more

These guys are great! I recently decided to do my own gel polish manicures. I was tired of going to nail salons where they soak the whole nail in pure acetone and then scrape the ever loving hell out of the nail plate with a metal pusher. No, that's incorrect people. Wood nail sticks and nourishing removers is the way to go. Your nails will actually love it and grow. You're welcome! Anyway, the prices on gellish polishes and ibd brand are as low as possible without a liscense. Sally sells the teensy weency bottles for more than a full sized bottle here. I was able to invest in tons of colors! They have an arsenal of color choices. Oh, and They offer an array of gel polishes from Opi that have the matching counterpart in a regular non gel polish for the toesies. I am completely pleased with my purchases, my kit looks super professional now! Besides the many polish choices, they also carry every thing else one would need for the fingernails. I purchased a bottle of barbicide for $4. It is enough to last me a long time. I saw everything there I could possibly need for my new found obsession. It's a run down little place but the selection is great. Go on a cool day, they have no AC! The lady working that day was a sweetheart, she helped me pick find the exact colors I was in search of and pointed out others to me and was just fun and sweet in general. I am SO going back! I don't EVER write reviews, but chiiiiiile. As someone who has worked in customer service for years, it's something that I always pay attention to especially when shopping at small businesses. These people do NOT KNOW WTF customer service is!! They were standing around when I walked in and NOBODY greeted me. Nobody asked if I needed help. But they made sure to share down my throat. I felt eyes on me the ENTIRE time I was there. It was so uncomfortable.. I should've just left. Another customer had a lot of questions and this man was being SO rude to her! Raised his voice.. replied to her with smart ass remarks. It was terrible. The only time he was polite was when I went to the register and was ready to spend my coins !! My nail technician informed of this spot and so glad she did. It's local, it's cheap and they are always up to date with their beauty collections. Place is always clean, they always have at least two staff members or more. Parking during busy hours can be difficult and annoying. However, I'm a regular and love the way they package their polishes when you buy more than 4 at a time! read more
