It's in an immediate area that's not the best, but they keep the store neat and clean inside. It's always well-staffed and I have always been able to find someone to help me when I've needed assistance finding something. The employees are friendly, too. I've rarely been bothered by panhandlers, although there are sometimes somewhat shady looking people in the general area. The parking area is well-lit, and I've never really felt unsafe when I've been there at night. Printed out a poster and received an email in the morning that it was ready. When I went to pick it up after 6pm it was not cut to the right size yet. When I asked to speak to a manager she came and (without even acknowledging me) just said "oh yeah Ben has to cut it. He's on break." She wasn't apologetic at all and basically dismissed this as if it were fine. I believe her name was Jennifer. The person helping me was very nice and helpful but I will not go to this location again because obviously the manager needs training in customer service. read more

Had she listened she would've known what the situation was with the paperwork. When I went down to pick up my mom's paperwork, she was there and did the same thing to another patient over the phone. My insurance didn't cover my prescriptions so I wanted to pay for them guy tells me he can't I've payed for my prescriptions before but I didn't feel like arguing so they needed to transfer them to a cvs. Cvs has been waiting on Walgreens I've been calling Walgreens they were "too busy" they "had them in hand about to send them out" two days later they have no record of any prescriptions for me "it is possible they already fax them" I call cvs no they didn't I call back no one knows anything they "don't know what to tell me" that's the exact words they used lol NEVER going to a Walgreens pharmacy again! read more

Never have had an issue here but this time I did. The lady that works in the pharmacy by the name of Erica is extremely rude & grumpy. I was in a lot of pain coming from my doctors as well as head pressure and she just told me it's not her problem that my prescription wasn't ready. Yes I understand people fall behind or get off schedule, I get things happen but to be unprofessional and rude is just out of control. If she was like this with me (22 years old) I could only imagine how she treats elderly patients coming to pick up their medication. She was hunched over with her head down as if she hated her job and everyone around. Maybe she has things going on at home that is effecting her work life but I am still quite shocked that the treatment I received. I will be pulling all of my medications away from this location and make the extra time to go pick them up at CVS or Costco. This place is a joke! The Walgreens corporation should be ashamed of themselves. I drove into the parking lot to be met with extremely small parking spaces and the walking dead wandering from car to car...begging. The storefront walkway was filthy. My business was with the pharmacy so I headed to the back of the store to be met by a line 30 people deep. I left my prescription and came back the next day. The situation was a little better, the line was only 25 people deep with a 1 1/2 hour wait. This is by far the WORST Walgreens that I have ever been to. read more

I was on the phone for 25 minutes and this chick picked up my call, and she didn't apologize for the waiting and nothing then she said, that my refill will take 4 to 6 hours to get refill. This place has always been the worst ever ! Finally I get to review. They have the longest wait times at this pharmacy in all of Stockton. The least 4 hours. Today the script for my mom was called in at 9am and we came to pick it up at 4:30pm. Now to be told to wait additional. Who does that? Definitely not Target! Not Walmart either. It's open 24 hours everyday of the year. Combine that with some of the nicer Walgreens employees I have come across, and this is a pretty good store. I just wish the parking lot was a bit bigger as it just seems so crowded at times. read more

This place is a joke. My boyfriend broke his ankle and this was the closest pharmacy I could find still open. I called ahead of time and mentioned that I lived in Tracy and I also mentioned what medications I needed. I was told all I needed was an ID. When I arrived I was told it would take half an hour. Half an hour later they still hadn't touched my prescriptions. I understood as they had a lot of people in line. As more pharmacists arrived they started moving faster. To which I thought finally! As I was called to the window, they asked what I was waiting for and told them. They then started working on my prescriptions right away. Or so it seemed. The pharmacist then told me that they would need to call the doctor to confirm one of the prescriptions. And I said okay well can you call them now and find out now. And I was told the latest would be tomorrow. So I waited for about 45 minutes to be told I would have to come back. Why couldn't the pharmacist at the window tell me that? He looked at the prescriptions and I even told him on the phone. I could've waited or driven to Castro valley instead to get the meds my boyfriend urgently needs. A broken ankle and I can't even be given the correct process/procedure for a pain med!!! read more

Location is not the best. Lots of crazies inside and outside of the store. When we went in there the workers were moody. Asking for help means they raise their eyebrows and act like we've interrupted them. The carts have missing wheels. The registers are always busy. Only come here if you really have to. I have gotten my refills for my six chronic medications at this store for nearly 3 years because it's near my home. The front cash register is usually adequately staffed, but the pharmacy is another story entirely, every single time I go there. There are often six or more people in line, one person doing the checkout, and that person apparently is responsible for tracking down problems with prescriptions and any other questions or problems. More than once I've been in line while the cashier deals with a customer who isn't sure they are at the right Walgreen's, or the cashier can find no record of the prescription,or whatever, and spends ten minutes looking in the bins for a prescription anyway, and after all that accompanies the customer into an aisle to show them where the bandaids are and waits while they choose some bandaids. I'd call that great customer service IF THERE WAS MORE THAN ONE PERSON AT THE COUNTER AND NO LONG LINE OF PEOPLE WAITING TO PICK UP THEIR PRESCRIPTIONS. I've also gone to the drop-off window and been told that I'll have to wait in the long pick-up line to just hand them my prescription. They need to have another cashier working during busy times - i.e. real commitment to customer service. read more

This Walgreens was recently remodeled, and looks good inside. Nevertheless, it's the outside that is MAJORLY problematic. The parking lot is tight and filled with dumbasses who drive like there's no one else there. There is always litter and drug addicts begging for change. I went late one night and there was no one @ the check out counter and when I did see an employee she rudely told me some one was going to come. I dont like to project negativity or generalize an entire store, but here goes. I have utilized this store for its 24hr pharmacy for the last 3 1/2 years strictly due to geographical convenience and for no other reason. It would take hours to describe in detail the the negative experiences, but I will share this. If you are a DIABETIC patient, be forewarned. On numerous occasions, I have shown up after receiving texts, calls, and VMs confirming my rx's were ready and waiting to find that they WERE NOT ready. I have found my insulin to be picked up had not been refridgerated properly and once watched the pharmacy MANAGER put my insulin I refused to accept BACK in the fridge for another unsuspecting patient/customer. I notified the store manager IMMEDIATELY as this particular snafu could have potentially resulted in a hospitilization or DEATH. 99% of the staff is friendly and polite, even the pharmacy staff, but the pharmacy manager should be terminated and lose her pharmacology license for such a GROSSLY NEGLIGENT act. Like I said, my personal level of dissatisfaction with the pharmacy goes BEYOND what I would deem acceptable and responsible. Diabetics beware! read more
