Its somewhat frustrating for me because I lost my extra care card years ago and seriously cannot recall the phone number that it was under at least the self service kiosks you can use the courtesy card so at least you can get the discounts. I mostly spent time in the toothpaste/toothbrush aisle to pick up the items for which I was placing the mobile order. I had called the pharmacy first and they stuck by the price and said I had a price increase. I called the insurance company and the one med still had a zero cost and the other was overcharged by $4.03. It's not a lot of money, but when you add up $9.93 or more here and there, from many people, it can add up to a lot of extra money for Wegmans. This isn't the first time that this has happened to my husband and me. Many seniors don't question their bill amount and they just pay it. I'm not trying to put Wegmans down, I just want to make people aware, not only seniors to ask if the pricing doesn't seem right. Call your insurance company if you have already paid for the meds, to get a refund of the difference. Don't be afraid to speak up. It's your money that you're saving.

I will say Sams has essential items although they probably lack the variety of stuff you might find at Costco. But I like the fact they have the key things I need and prices are reasonable. Here is where my issue lies...my husband and I were shopping yesterday milling about the aisles. And a random guy walks up to us to ask if we are finding everything ok, he's got a logo'd shirt with a name badge on so I assumed he either worked for Sams or was one of those consultant. Well as we say we are finding what he needs under very false pretenses he then starts to ask us about making improvements to our home? Really??? We tell him we're good and go about our shopping. But it was this very shady approach to try and get a sale we didn't appreciate in the least. I'm hoping Sams will send a post shopping survey so I will let the know about this poor experience but I don't appreciate it. If I'm looking for home services I will reach out.
