I love the parking options they have (large parking spots!). I especially love the extra points they offer and getting a coupon with your purchase is a plus. I signed up with their website to get my receipt emailed to me which is helpful since I am switching to paperless options. My go to activities at Walgreens: picking up snacks, printing my photos, getting gift/birthday cards and picking up items for my home. Staff is friendly and helpful. I live so close to Walgreens that I can walk there.

However, I recommend dealing with them only by telephone and voicemail (despite what their website says). Email often gets lost, so I nearly got stuck on a refill, almost running out of my cat's vital medicine. And, staff do not know how to set up the phone/internet refill app for the customer, so I would avoid that too. (To the owner: I highly recommend that you remove the email and app mentions from your website, until you improve your IT systems to always work promptly and effectively with your staff and customers.)

The parking here is more congested and usually more crowded than the Des Plaines location. All Walgreens have a great Senior's Day promo (for age 55+) which is 20% off on everything (except food and liquor) on the first Tuesday of every month. That's a good once-per-month deal. Walgreens is also going private so we'll see what if anything that means for us consumers in the upcoming months.

I scheduled his shot online on the Walgreens app for a 5:30pm appointment. We get there a bit early, ~5:25pm and check in. We had prefilled out the questionnaire form asking about medical history and known conditions prior as there was an option to do so online during the initially scheduling. Not only did we not get serviced by the pharmacist at 5:30pm, we had to wait until 6:15pm until the pharmacist was ready to administer the shot. I get it...you're busy and need to attend to others but don't allow us to schedule a time just so you're not available to actually address our needs until 45 minutes later. Not only were they late, they also had issues with retrieval of the form we prefilled. They also didn't give us a clear estimate on when the pharmacist would be ready. Mind you, there wasn't anyone ahead of my dad waiting on a vaccine. I really believe that if you're in the service business like all pharmacies are, you should be attentive and responsive to your customers. I don't think I'll be coming back to this pharmacy unless it's past operating hours at a closer pharmacy to the house.

I ended up getting a bag of cough drops and cherry-flavored Chloraseptic (that throat-numbing spray that is a **Godsend** if you're going through what I am), and a 6-pack of Lotion-infused face tissues. I actually got my COVID vaccine from a Jewel Pharmacy, and this location is just as organized, clean, and efficient. The attendant who was there pointed me in the right direction without even needing to look at the shelves, that's how organized they are!

Since I received no text about this and since I have no history of missing texts, I believe he just straight out lied. Friends don't let friends use this pharmacy.

Getting a hold of the staff is slightly easier than other CVS locations; transferring, updating, and getting notification of meds have always been pretty good, and they are pretty communicative. Note that they have a lunch break daily from 1:30 to 2 PM.
