Why no reviews from me yet, a VIB Beauty Insider? I'm not kidding, I spend a lot here…read more I love this crazy place. I can spritz myself crazy with every new perfume on the shelf and these people understand. There's a wild energy here, as this location is always packed, and buzzing. There were helpful sales staff on the floor, offering suggestions, making recommendations. I do think the person at the register could be a little nicer.

All the staff are NASTY and trash attitudes--abusive language, short-tempered, zero knowledge, and worst of all, scowls and sneers. The cashiers can see if you are Rouge, Sephora's highest loyalty level, and if you're a Sephora credit card holder and they have not been trained to value any of that. It's time to stop giving Sephora money since none of it is going back into training or service.

Love that they will be offering classes to learn to make your own soap, and candles. All the soaps smells so great making it extremely hard to just choose one, they are beautifully hand crafted, and just so elegantly prepared.

I was disappointed with my experience at Nordstrom in Old Orchard…read more My friend was interested in a fragrance and asked if it would be possible to get a sample. The associate simply told us that they don't provide samples, without any explanation or effort to help. What made the experience worse was the attitude -- it felt rude and dismissive, and there was no apology or customer-focused service. I've visited other Nordstrom locations before and have always had great experiences with polite, professional, and attentive staff. That's why this visit was especially disappointing. Customer service is one of the reasons people choose to shop at Nordstrom, and unfortunately, this location did not meet those expectations. I hope management pays attention to the customer experience and provides additional training to ensure guests feel welcomed and respected.

I bought something online partially with an online giftcard ($30 purchase, $10 on a giftcard),…read morereturned it in store and apparently that means I get a gift card I can only use in-store. Super annoying because I never shop in store and their in store prices are like $2-$3 more than online prices, and their stock seems to always be out of a lot of the main things (not any one brand -- just uniformly out of everything). So frustrating. Now I'm stuck with a $10 giftcard I will likely never use even though I just placed a $50 order online. I'm going to have to return some items and then immediately repurchase them with the giftcard I guess. Also they don't seem to have makeup remover available anywhere, which makes it really messy when people are trying to use the testers. Not only do they get it all over themselves and can't remove it (I looked like I was bruised while trying to color match a concealer on my arm), but the products themselves get messy from people who have makeup all over their hands. Making some sort of makeup remover/cleanser available at the endcaps where there are tissues an Qtips would be helpful. The kleenex does nothing to remove product without some sort of cleanser, or at least some spray water.

Estelle Skin Care & Spa Institute…read more I had a terrible experience with Justin C., who was rude, blunt, and highly unprofessional. Instead of helping me, he pressured me for my credit card info and tried to upsell and upcharge me for his own gain. I was told I'd receive a refund, but my bank confirmed I was charged again instead. To make matters worse, my bank also stated the CVV number is not required for refunds, which makes his behavior feel dishonest and scam-like. This broke all trust. I noticed that this is the only Walgreens that has the Photo department (where you do pickups) connecting right to the general checkout counter. The woman at Photo was not particularly welcoming, she kind of complained that I clicked "I am here" on the app that instructed me to do so. She said once I clicked that, the clock would start timing her, she said I only needed to click that if I waited in my car by the sidewalk. I didn't see why it's a problem that I was already inside the store, and she didn't need to go outside. The chocolate was pre-bagged, she gave that to the cashier who scanned it. As I had already paid online, it was quick. I didn't spend too much time inside this store, but it looked smaller than the other Walgreens stores that I had been to. It's not as bright and looked quite dated. However, I was happy that they had this chocolate that's my sister's favorite at a discounted price, and the pickup was quick and smooth.

Trying to get a vaccine done here, we've had to try 3 different times for a single appointment due to their scheduled (but not posted) breaks. I didn't realize they only gave me 2/3 of what was prescribed, costing me a whole useless trip downtown, along with the whole joy of rescheduling. They could do much better. This is a high traffic location, and my guess is that it is very understaffed.
