While picking up a prescription at the drive through my debit card was not returned to me. I informed woman at the window she did not give me back my debit card to which she continued to argue with me that she had. I had to physically go inside the store and insist that they look for my debit card. She told me she absolutely gave it back to me and was going to check the cameras to prove it. Wouldn't you know 30 seconds later she finds the card, that she never looked for in the first place. She handed it to me and says "Ohh honey is this your card?" She never apologized for treating me like a criminal. She was rude, inconsiderate, unprofessional, and downright indignant. Needless to say, I will NEVER return to this or any other Walgreens. I must firstly state that I have literally NEVER left a negative review in my entire life & I am a senior citizen! A senior citizen who is weary of the constant ineptitude, rudeness & dysfunction that continually exists at the Walgreens Pharmacy located on Walnut Street in Saugus. It is a literal disgrace! It is no different if you are physically standing in front of the staff, or at the, so called, "convenient" drive-thru window, the rudeness, ineptness, & total disrespect is glaringly evident! Despite texts & phone calls (with a living, breathing human on the other end), it took 3 attempts to get 3 regular prescriptions. No new medications, nothing out of the ordinary. Finally, on my 3rd attempt, was I able to procure all 3 prescriptions, however, not before being asked to pull out of the drive-thru line while they "prepare" one of the scripts! This after having received a text just a few hours previous, telling me all 3 were ready for pick up! This after speaking with a live human confirming that all 3 were ready for pick up!! The audacity to ask a senior citizen to pull forward & go to the end of the line, (which now consisted of 3 additional cars), after having made 3 trips to the pharmacy is just ludicrous!!! The performance of the individual managing that specific pharmacy is deplorable! He/She/They deserve to be terminated!! If I were able to leave 1 point of 1 star, I would! That is truthfully how horrible the customer service is at this location! read more

Drive thru, woman never turned around to ack me, I spoke to her back the entire time. meeded to give her my contact info twice, she said she couldn't find my profile. I explained scripts are ready for pick up and are in the bin!!!! She disappeared for a couple of minutes, I beeped and she suddenly appeared!! Instructions on label are incorrect! When Sam, the pharmacy manager called me regard my complaint was apologetic but when I told her about the mistake in how to take medication, she didn't get it! read more

Terrible service in the pharmacy! No eye contact, extremely slow, and they do not care how long you wait. No apology for long wait and no thank you for the business. I was told a prescription for my son was "out of stock" and given no options! I had to ask them to check with another location. I was shuffled between associates all the same with bad customer service. I've never felt more mistreated all with my 2 yr old son in tow. My family and I will no longer we using this location, and probably not Walgreens at all since this is the only convenient location for us. It's unfortunate that some people seem to think that customer service doesn't matter anymore. read more

The employees and managers are HIDING important protective and disinfecting products from customers to give them to their friends. I caught the cashier red-handed. When I asked he told me they had no more (Lysol Wipes). I said I just saw you take it out and put it in the bag. He said they got the last one. I said no you took it out from under the counter for them. I then confronted a manager who told me I was wrong and they haven't gotten any in over a week. Then another manager confronted me and tried to tell me they had six; sold five; and that this employee sold the last one...then he stumbled and admitted that the employee hid it and sold it to his friend. I complained further and he miraculously found more in the back for me. So last one to we haven't got them in over a week to last one to oh I found some out back for you. WALGREENS CORPORATE SHOULD BE ASHAMED. I am a diabetic and rely on these products to sanitize my home and stay safe. read more

Not sure why there are bad reviews because I have never had such a good experience at a Walgreens or CVS (especially a CVS)!! Starting off outside, this is one of the only pharmacies where I haven't stepped in trash getting out of my car super clean even though it is BUSY. Plus, the cleanliness of the store was unmatched to any other Walgreens. I was treated with a hello as soon as I walked in! The beauty selection was huge which was great! Plus, I was able to get everything I came in looking for, except one thing. I asked an employee if they had any and he said "it doesn't look like we have it out here, but let me check in the back for you". What other pharmacy has ever done that for you!! I will definitely come back because in times like these it is so hard to find such a CLEAN place and a group of people who are so kind! read more

There was a recall for eyedrops,it was on the news.. I happend to have the bad batch,and i went to the store,and all the manager did was give me another product,after my eyes have been thru hell the whole week. Most of the store is run well, but the pharmacy is run very poorly and it's mostly a management problem. I've called an no one has answered the phone on several occasions. I've been notified that my prescription is ready and it hadn't been touched. I've showed up when it was ready and they couldn't find it, etc. I definitely need to change my pharmacy which is a hassle! read more

I have been filling prescriptions and buying little things at this Walgreens since I moved here six years ago. Yesterday, I had an issue with a prescription that was refilled. Instead of being given 10 mg pills I was given 20 mg pills. When I brought this to the attention of the pharmacy the pharmacist was advised and brushed it off as if it was nothing, blaming a new manufacturer. Comparing the old and new pills showed that it was indeed the very same manufacturer as my previous prescription. The manufacturers stamp on the pills is exactly the same as my previous medicine. The pill number was incorrect and it was double the dose of medication that I should've been given. This did not seem to bother the pharmacist at all. Someone who goes to school and should recognize this error. How many people compare their medications and labels on the bottles? This error could have devastating consequences for somebody. Please check your labels and the actual pills you receive from all pharmacies. I still don't have the right medicine. read more

This USED to be a great pharmacy. I will never got there again after the rude treatment I received by one of the technicians. The pharmacist never came over and tried to remedy the situation. This pharmacist in particular has never been helpful in the past. I have also had them change manufacturers on my medications and they have not notified me. I'm going to take my pill bei go to bed and have had to get on the computer to make sure it was the right pill because it was changed in appearance. I have notified the corporate office. read more

Less than one star. The pharmacist here don't care at all about you. I dropped of my prescription a day early knowing they would need time to call my doctor. I went back the next day to pickup and they still haven't even attempted to call the doctor. When I asked why the pharmacist litteraly told me "because I had like 100 prescriptions to fill yesterday, we can't fill this for you sir." And gave me my prescription back. read more

I am not from the area but I WISH my pharmacy had a drive-thru like this Walgreens!! My parents are getting older now and they have their prescriptions here at this Walgreens. The store was super busy so I thought I should give the drive-thru a try! I waited for just a couple cars but it didn't take long! The pharmacist couldn't have been better! She was extremely efficient and very polite! She was fast but never rushed me along. She explained if my mother had any questions to give them a call and they could help with anything! I go to a CVS and it does NOT compare. I was expecting to get yelled at or rushed along, since typically that is how I am treated, but not here! The drive-thru is amazing because in times like these the security of staying in your car just feels right. I was very pleased with my time here which sounds a little odd since this is just a pharmacy but I really think they do it right! read more
