Came in here to buy a large pair of latex-free gloves and some mini plastic elastic bands. They are clean, organized and well-light. I was unable to find the elastic bands but found the gloves rather easily as I searched around the pharmacy. The private parking lot with two entrance and methods to exit were convenient being located on Route 1. Cashier was friendly and efficient. Pharmacist seemed nice but a little confused when helping a patient at their desk. Would come again if in the area. read more

Let me start off by saying this location 1228 Broadway Saugus, MA is NOT my Walgreens. My Walgreens had sent me to this location to pick up my free Covid 19 masks that the government is supplying. I went into the store and an overweight man behind the register greeted me and asked if he could help me. I asked where I would find the masks. He said do you have gloves on, which I said no. He said masks are useless without gloves and then he gave me a bag containing 3 masks. He then said "people just want a freebie ". How rude in front of the others customers. read more

I once was on hold with "one person ahead of me" with the pharmacy from work in Boston to an hour later after traffic in Saugus. I swear they just ignored the phone for an hour, nobody got through. i always use this location there is a very helpful employee named matt who welcomes everyone into the store as they enter. he is also very good at his job from helping you to find things to using your receipt coupons to clipping the app coupons (which i dont like the app coupon system it is time consuming and frustrating). the location is right next to the highway exit so easy for driving or walking from within saugus. can be crowded at times. good for immunizations and you can buy postage stamps at the counter. i have had to return things on occasion never an issue. plenty of variety and selection. open 6am to midnight same as walmart very convenient. pretty good sales. read more

25 minutes. Remember this amount of time. No matter if you get a pack of gum or anything else, this is the time it takes to wait in line and get out the door. Ever since this store opened back in the day they have only one register open no matter how many people are in line. I don't know why I stopped here again. read more

Can't even believe how horrible the pharmacy has become since they aren't open all night, it's always crowded and takes literally all day just to fill a prescription. My mom had pneumonia the dr called in an antibiotic at 9am, and her medicine wasn't ready until 7pm, now that's unacceptable and to top it off the lady pharmacist was so rude. If you're in a pinch and traveling down root one about to head up to the mountain area of the state of Maine and you forget underwear and you desperately need to get some red Gatorade and a twix bar inside you from a night of just pure hate inspired drinking and yelling at the tv for hours on end and then when you finally pass out from hitting your head in the coffee table in what use to be the "family" room but now its just a room filled with bad memories and holes in the wall made by the fights if rage you have from being alone because the wife left with the kids and my dog because I spent a little to much time and money at the race track and accidentally spent all the grocery money for the month and now nobody can eat. Well the woods will hide me for awhile and I'll have a couple of fresh pairs of underwear and socks because of the good people of Walgreens! read more

Less than one star. The pharmacist here don't care at all about you. I dropped of my prescription a day early knowing they would need time to call my doctor. I went back the next day to pickup and they still haven't even attempted to call the doctor. When I asked why the pharmacist litteraly told me "because I had like 100 prescriptions to fill yesterday, we can't fill this for you sir." And gave me my prescription back. read more

Have been going to this Walgreens for years because they had 24 hour pharmacy. Now they r only open until 11:00 during the week and 9:00 on weekends. They were always busy but now it is ridiculous!! Evidently a lot of the prescriptions filled were done by the night pharmacist now it falls on the daytime ones and they can't keep up. I stood in line for 20 minutes 3 out of 3 people in front of me had something happen that their prescriptions weren't filled after they were told they were. 2 people left because they didn't even get the prescriptions sent through in the computer. They need to go back to 24 hours or hire more people to help. I'm looking for a new pharmacy!! read more

I stop at this Walgreens a few mornings a week on my way to work. Andy who works the overnight shift is awesome, also happy and smiling and happy to help. Love that even at 5am I can pick up my prescription or ask questions of the pharmacist. They have a little of everything and then some. I visited this store to pick up and fill a script while there I asked to use the photo lab. After trying to find someone to assist me, I was then informed that the equipment at that location was not capable of making a copy of a picture I had. In addition they could not scan anyt b in but no sign was on u he scanner . Not helpful bad customer service bec a use the cashier had no clue about the photo issues . read more

There is a pharmacist assistant there by the name of Jamie (young lady with dark curly hair) that is completely rude. I received a prescription there and asked for a bag and she replied, "You can get one on your way out!" with a snotty demeanor. I said I am not buying anything on my way out and I would please like a bag. She looked at me gave me a huff and then threw a bag at me. Not the bedside manor I would expect for those trying to help people in need. I complained to the Manager and even the district office. read more
