It's almost 2022. Get some damn public Wi-Fi already. I'm in here trying to calculate dosages and formulations online because the medicines I'm buying are to be used on canines. Lots of human medications are. Every time I need to look something up, I need to put all my things down, and I have to walk all the way out through the parking lot, almost to my car to get a signal. That's pathetic. In addition, I'm trying to pick out the exact kind of cough remedy my cousin wants, and I can't even text her to ask her what ingredient she's wanting. Basically everything I needed in the store except for deodorant and milk is useless to me without an Internet connection. Like I said, it's 2022. And it's not just this store, it's almost all Walgreens stores. It seems to be universal. Stop being such a tightwad business that you can't spend a few dollars a month on providing free Wi-Fi to your customers. Until then, I'm done. Too much work. All it took was one walk out toward my car, and I realized it would be much easier just to get in my car and drive away and go down the street to the Randalls pharmacy. It's a shame, because you had a really helpful associate who had helped me find everything that I needed, but I couldn't get online to verify the dosages and that I had the right formulations. I just left it all on a shelf for someone to have to put away. It was about $45 worth of stuff. That would've paid your Internet bill for at least a week. Zero starts!! They had my prescription for 6 days and didn't refill it. When I went to see what was going on they told me they will have it ready in 30 minutes. I came back after 3 hours and still was not ready. On top of that they did not have the 60 pills and only had 35. I said fine, I really needed the medicine. They told me to circle around the building and get back in line for the drive thru. When it was my turn again they told me to do it again and get back in line. I went to pick up my medicine and was told it wouldn't be ready until later that day and the pharmacist told me they would call me when it was ready... never got a call so I went back the next day and was told it wasn't ready again went back 6 more times still not ready fast forward to a few days later I go back angry of course since anxiety medication isn't something you can just stop taking and the pharmacist tells me oh we don't have It and we won't have i until next week so I'm confused on why I was told my medication would be ready same day I went the first time. Whatever you do, stay away from the pharmacy here. Not only have they botched my prescriptions, but they lied about messing up prescription orders. Had one pharmacist tell me, they are on back order and don't currently have the script needed but I can come back the next day for a generic brand. Show up the next day, and they said they do have the brand in, but the system closed out a refill request and I need to have my doctor re send it (which is hassle to track down a busy doctor). I've been using this pharmacy for the last 8 years, and the last 2 years the pharmacy part is absolutely terrible! Whether you go inside to wait in line or drive thru... the wait is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! Every single time I'm here to pick up prescriptions, it's a minimum wait of 30 mins if not more! The lines are always backed up. They don't have enough staff, and ARE NOT ORGANIZED AT ALL. One of the pharmacy tech had pulled 3 different bins to find my daughter's prescription... and still couldn't find it! On my Walgreens app, it shows that it was ready, and I had also gotten an automated call from Walgreens stating that it was ready for pick up. Updating my review: I'm done with this Walgreens Pharmacy. It wasn't always like this. I've been coming here for years and it use to be really good. I wish I knew what happened. Over the past few years it's become a miserable experience to use them. I don't want to blame the staff. I'm sure a lot of them are doing their best. But something in there system has changed. There's more people working there than ever, but some how they're slower and less organized. The whole Pharmacy looks and feels more dirty. It feels like a fast food restaurant. Simple things like picking up a prescription have become a game of phone tag where it can take weeks to get what I need. I don't know what changed but it's not working and I'm finally ready to drive the extra mile to not deal with it. While writing this I saw my old review and you can see how different things use to be. It's unfortunate. I called to see if they had flu medicine and the pharmacist immediately had an attitude. I understand that they're busy and flu medicine is hard to get but that doesn't mean you need to be a jerk when someone is calling looking for medicine. I'm trying to get my son well enough to go to a funeral. Shame on you for your poor attitude! I'm sure plenty of other people have dire needs and to have to deal with rude people, who's job it is to provide medicine, is 100% unacceptable. Be better!!! Thi sis the worst pharmacy in the city. Do not come here. If you need medications go somewhere else or you will die before you get the scripts filled. They can never get all the scripts ready for the same pick up. You will always have to come back another day when they finish. They will tell you to come back in 2 hours, but they wont be ready until the next day when a different worker will give you another excuse. All to often they just cannot get the job done. The tech working doesn't even understand how my prescription works and the quantity of it. Kept telling me I only have enough for a 15 day supply and that's not the case. The script gives me enough for 30 days. She then said it was a new script on file which was sent over incorrectly that still had nothing to do with the current one. Then proceeded to give me a box that the seal was broke on. I told her I'm not taking injections from a broken sealed box when the quantity in case has all boxes sealed. I'm pregnant and instead of her listening to understand and make sure she is appropriately answering my questions she got an attitude and slammed down the phone. The lead tech comes and tells me sometimes they have to open it to give you the quantity needed based on insurance or what doctor has. I understand that but neither of those situations impacts mine. The care or concern is not there anymore. I hope they don't ever have to experience the nonsense they are dishing out. read more

Might be switching to CVS very soon like my husband. This pharmacy Walgreens has been the worst service EVER. Many issues. Just yesterday I called about a status since I usually get a text or call. The pharmacy said there's an issue with my daughters medication and then I got transferred and they said it will be ready at 5 LOL. They never said what the issue was or anything. It's always something. They need to fire the employees and start fresh or get better training on customer service. Oh and forget picking up when you get an alert your medicine is ready! Came to Walgreens to pick up a new prescription, one that I'd never taken before. Pharmacy technician retrieved the meds, charged me, then notified the pharmacist that a consult was needed. (he was very nice and energetic considering it was 8am) she walked over and asked me if I had any questions , I informed her non particularly but this is my first time taking this medication. She said ok, I will be with you shortly. A man appearing to be of her ethnicity walked up after me asking for OTC allergy or sinus meds. She preceded to help him with the meds and give him consultation, ring him up all while I'm standing there, and the pharmacy tech looking to help ring the customer up. Long story short, I'm guessing the Pharmacist would rather be a cashier than a pharmacist from my experience. read more

I can't tell you how bad I feel for the Pharmacy staff. I have never been here without four cars in line and five to six people standing in line. I pulled up and requested pain meds and they asked me to come back in two days. Tonight the script was called in early afternoon. I get here at 7:30 PM stand in line for twenty and told to sit down and wait because it's not ready. 6 people in line. One cashier. Can the floor staff help? No, there's only one cashier and manager that looks stressed every time. Shame on you Walgreens. I will do what I can to help your staff and go somewhere else. Didn't know that mattered since I live 3 minutes away from that Walgreens. Now she's making me drive all the way to Pasadena to get my script. Help me make that make sense. Doctor called in a script to CVS, CVS Called me to notify that their supplier has a shortage & to have my doctor call in my script to another pharmacy. He calls it into this Walgreens & then they tell me I cannot get it because my insurance does not cover it. I know this I have Atena CVS HEALTH. It would only cover it at CVS - CVS is out so I am aware I have to pay this out of pocket. They will not allow me to fill this script here due to made up quoted laws that I know are IN FACT not true. My doctor called in a script. If I want to pay out of pocket, I am able to do that. There is no bad ethics involved here except once again discrimination for the chronically ill. read more

If there's a way to screw up your prescription, they can do it. Your Doctor or Urgent Care can send prescriptions to them electronically and they'll mess it up. They'll fill one of 3 and blow off the others, stuff your purchase in a bag. You think it's all there but no, You get home and 2 are missing. They blame the Dr. Not even an hour later, you'll get a text you have prescriptions ready. This isn't a one time screw up, it's every time. Latest excuse, the quantity is wrong. Supposedly, they called the Dr office for clarification. 6 pm still no prescription. There won't be till maybe tomorrow.... checks in the mail. This has gone on too long I thought August mistake was just that but 2 more screw ups. Obviously incompetent staff. Hope they can experience the pain I have while awaiting pain meds. I run in this store for a lot of quick shopping and the checkout never disappoints me. IF there is a line an other associate comes right away and opens another register. avoid this pharmacy if you can. if you are close to this one I highly recommend going a few minutes further to the one off of fry road in Katy. they never send me texts on when my prescriptions are ready or if there is a issue with the order. I just called during my lunch to see if my doctor had sent it to this location and to see what time it would be ready and the first thing the lady who answered the phone said to me was, " next time use the app to check this... we are trying to reduce our call volume". Which I totally understand in trying to accomplish that goal, but there was a way better to inform the customer of this information. Went in to get a passport photo and no one was in the photo area. Saw some employees gathered in the middle of the store talking so asked if someone could help me. After taking my picture the clerk informed me the computers had lost power due to the storm and it would take awhile to boot up. That was fine. After a few minutes he told me it would take another 30 minutes because he needed to change the roll of something but that I could leave my info and get it later. The last time I went I asked the young girl working there several times if she was sure she was giving me all my pictures. She was less than interested in helping and was very lazy...she said yes. It turns out it was NOT all my pictures and they LOST the ones she did not give me. I was super frustrated. Was so disappointed. We had visited the clinic numerous times. I had just had gallbladder surgery and my daughter developed pink eye. My husband took both kids to the appointment and was 2 minutes late. They first told him that it was fine and then told him that they could not see him.
