Here today! I was treating to pedi's, that's what friends do, so I activated my trusty Yelp app to put myself out of my misery and find a good trusted nail salon! Oh how on point my Yelp Elites was on this! Not only was they on point, but I met friends for life. I was really impressed by their 5 star consistent rating and actually photo's up to date photos. Rudy's nail salon isn't anything fancy to look at on the outside nor on the inside but God's Angels sure resides there. Who wouldn't want to visit a place where angels chill at :) How my friend and I know? We were touch by them. We were walk-in's and sadly disappointed when Jenny asked if we could come back in 3 hrs. 3 HOURS?! We both agreed it would be to our benefit because the salon felt so warm and inviting. We respected the honesty that Jenny gave us, her honest response was they couldn't take us at that time 1. Don't tell us "30 minutes" and the wait be 1 1/2 hrs ( yall know that's how they do). #2. Respect the next appointment scheduled, people have stuff to do. #3. Don't rush through our service because you wanna make a dollar and slop up our toes (men have feet fetishes, we both single soooo). REAL talk! Upon our return, our techs was waiting on us. They took their time, made sure we liked our colors, chiseled our calluses and made sure we were completely satisfied with service rendered. The nail salon is old school, they still use Wide Rule tablets and pencils at least that cuts down on overhead prices which passes down to the customers. Shellac nail polish take off is on $5 and shalac polish $7 ( I think) all VERY old school prices. I had a broken toenail to replace was only $5 and my tech built me a new toenail free hand. NOT all techs can do that, I usually tell techs to put a fake nail because I want both toes to match they MUST look flawless. We was so happy with our service that my good friend returned 2 days later for a manicure. We BOTH returned a few days later, I broke a nail and there was NO way on earth, I was going over across several state like that. Rudy's Salon is HIGHLY RECOMMEND by Elite Yelpers and general public! Very honest, clean, and friendly place. I had my mani pedi done elsewhere for Valentine. The gel powder tips ombre with artworkk was superb, but the chellac pedi was horrible. The nail tecnician did my pedi did not cut the cuticle and paint over them. Needless to say, three days later when i am on vacation, and after a night wiggles in my toes, partials of my polish, 2/10, peeled off and the rest of them follows eventually...another mishaps is my severe ellergic reaction to the primer used for my hand. The skin on my fingernails, nail beds formed little buble blisters and hurt. I called Rudy to have my nails removed. The technician was so patient, she ended up using a file to remove the powder and painstakenly remove the tips because my blisters and cut by this point are so severe...best of all, she show me the non ellergant primer to ask for in the future if i ever gotten over the fear and she did not charge me (so i tips them copiously) I asked her to do some costmetic repair for the overly filed down nails but she told me to put on the vitamins polish instead. Mad Love. Finally find a place that give a sh$t about your health instead of another 100 bucks. read more

I'd like to give this place a 4.5- would be a 5, but I did have to wait a while because they were busy when I popped in at noon and was told to come back at 2, which was no biggie for me today- I just went and ran some errands. When I got there at 2, I did have to wait about 20-30 mins, but I chose my colors and just chilled in the massage chair. This salon was new to me, so I didn't call ahead to make an appointment, which was my bad and I'll definitely do that next time. The staff was very nice, but only 3 people, so that's probably the reason for the wait. I got a dip mani and shellac/gel pedi. classic & both turned out great! The lady who did my nails was meticulous and did excellent work. The salon is clean and I like that they didn't soak my hands and that she made sure to use a small separate container for my dip color. Decent pricing for what I had done. Hands and feet look great and are ready for summer! Just make sure you call ahead and you will be treated right! read more

It's truly a old school calm environment with relaxing music and nail techs that never cut you up, are always nice, and listen to what you ask for.
