Hubs and I got pampered today. He got deluxe pedicure and manicure. I got full set and deluxe pedicure. The counter lady did a great job answering my questions about the service I was wanting. She was super helpful. The services were good. The staff was super friendly & helpful. The pedicurist (is did a word) rubbed the callous remover thing on a tender part of my foot which took off some skin. You can see it in the picture. It was accidental and did not bleed. She put some antiseptic on it. It will be fine. I didn't make a big deal about it. The guy who did my full set asked me questions to make sure I was happy. He let me try a color and a tip color to see if I'd like it. That was super nice of him. Overall, it was a good experience. Took my 3 young granddaughters for a pedicure because they have special kids chairs here. Unfortunately our experience was TERRIBLE. The technicians were impatient and kept scolding the girls to "just sit still". My daughter and I had to remind them several times that they were only three years old Then, we let the girls sit for an hour after they were done before they started moving around and yet on the SAME day we went and paid BIG bucks for 3 pedicures, the polish on all 3 pedicures is already smeared, ruined and does not look good. We waited for about an hour for someone to start nails and during the process things were different no warm towels on legs they just put it across the legs . wow. I've come here no joke every two weeks for 3/4 months. Never ever miss a week. Every time treated amazingly and given exactly what I want...until today. The regular receptionist hasn't been here the time before or this time and sadly this is what's missing. She was a total gem and customer service oriented. Not only did I wait over an hour to be seen, when the five customers after me got taken care of before me. I didn't want a pedicure so I got over looked. Finally I get seen and the top coat is getting put on, I told her there was lint on the wet nail and she said to wait until it dries. It dries and she pulls a piece of skin off and says "There all gone!" I said "no ma'am. I said there was lint and now it dries into the nail. Then I get charged $10 more than usual. I ask why and she said because I got shellac. And I said no ma'am I got powder nails. They continue to argue with me and I literally showed her my bank statements with every single charge and I've NEVER been charged $52 for nails. I get basic nails...don't believe me look at the picture. I LOVED this place, but sadly I will NOT be back because I don't do business with people who steal money from me. read more

There's better salons out there where you get more for your money. Normally I get the acrylic full set or gel when I go to salons, but here I tried their powder nails $40 (two colors). There's an Extra fee if 3 or more colors, and another fee if just the tips (French tip). So for $40 no perks - nothing special, no nail maintenance (cuticle trim etc.), no soak, no lotion, no hand massage. Just dipping nails into powder with clear coat multiple times then a little oil on top when dry. I assume there are extra fees for everything. Nail tech did an okay job but screwed up the alternating colors and I didn't say anything because I don't plan on returning... (my nails were already short when I came in for appointment, just powder on regular nail). Lots of colors to choose from, clean and COVID-19 precautions in place (masking, social distancing, and hand washing upon entry). read more

I wanted to like this place, it's closer to my house and fairly priced, I wanted to give it a chance and I did twice. However, the customer service and lack of quality got me going back to my other Nail Spa. Chic nails is about $3 less than my typical nail place, but you can totally tell the difference with the quality of the products and customer service and cleanliness of Chic Nails. They're don't live up to their name. To start with, this place is nasty. I had to request to have clean nail clippers used on my manicure because the ones being used had someone else's nail crust on it and "Trish", the one who did my nails, threw a fit and acted like it was too much to ask for. Instead of the owner reinforcing any type of policy to clean, or sanitize the tools used from person to person she just shakes her head and smiles and says there's nothing she can do. I typically get a very simple solid color dip with a shellac clear top coat. Short, square round nails. That's it. Apparently that also is too much to ask for, because in the only 2 times I've been, I keep getting pushback for wanting dip with a shellac top coat. When I was able to get my "difficult" request done of dip with a shellac top coat, they don't use a bottom coat for the dip, the cuticle end of my dip started to lift up from my nail creating a gap that my hair gets stuck in when I brush it (which means tons of bacteria is being trapped in there also) and my top coat began to peel and flake off like it was regular nails polish. I typically tip $10-$20 per service depending on what I'm asking to be done. I'll gladly pay the extra $3 at my other place plus tip to get my simple dip and shellac top coat in SANITARY conditions which are a requirement by law anyway. read more

The lady that did my pedicure sprayed water into my chair and I left with wet shorts (great when you have a shopping list of things to do after I leave, right?) The people were really nice when I walked in. They offered a drink and sat me immediately even on a busy day. Because it is a new store, it's really nice and clean. I went here because of the good reviews but my visit was awful. I only give it 2 stars instead of 1 because of the nice people. I got a full set of acrylic nails and it was way overpriced. I've been to other places that were almost $15 cheaper who did a great job. The woman who did my nails did not even bother with my cuticles or cleaning up my own nails and went straight to the acrylic. She did not treat my fingers with any sort of gentleness. This is the worst experience I have had at a nail salon. I have many cuts on my fingers. I will not be returning to this salon. I have received multiple mani's and pedi's from here. They do a fabulous job with the pedicures. They have many options that always leave my feet flawless. My pedis could last a good month with maintenance. However, they do a great job buffing as well for the times that you do not want color. I get the shellac nail polish which I have had no problems with chipping. However, all manicures are not created equal. There have been times, that I have experienced being unsatisfied with how my cuticles looked. All in all this is a solid place. read more

I usually never have an issue with going here. This is my place! But my recent experience made me rethink everything. I had my nails done with dip powder which I have been getting for a long time now. My natural nails have grown beautifully with the dip powder and from what I have been told, it's healthier than regular powder and doesn't chip like shellac. So, my nail tech was Michael. First of all, I wanted French tips but he let me know that my nails are very long so it wouldn't look right with my nail bed. I then changed my mind and agreed to a different color which ended up being very pretty but it wasn't what I originally came in for. He also told me that dip powder and regular powder are the SAME THING and it doesn't matter. Which that is not what I have been told at all. Secondly, I felt as if I was being talked about often. I don't care about a different language being spoken in front of me, it doesn't offend me, I don't think anything of it at all. But when people are talking amongst each other and the other person keeps looking up at me, it's kind of obvious. Especially when it was after every-time he asked me a question. Then he was super rough on my fingers, he cut me twice and it started bleeding. He just looked at it and moved on. My fingers were burning when I came home from buffing not only my nails, but my skin. He just had the worst attitude and seemed like he really didn't care to provide a service or be there at all. Once my pedicure and manicure were done, I look down to see my shoes are dirty from the nail shavings and it's as if he was sitting over them with his chair. One shoe was far away from the other and they looked a mess. I felt like I was such a bother. Needless to say, I don't think I'll be coming back anytime soon. I'll be looking elsewhere where they actually care about their clients. It's sad to be so used to a place and one bad experience can make you rethink everything. read more

I have been going to this particular location for the past 2 years. The service is average and the staff is friendly. I had my nails and pedicure done on Saturday 3/20/22 by Triche. I wanted a lighter pink with a triangle white accent and was told the lighter pink would be too sheer. Triche recommended a darker pink which I agreed to trusting she was the nail expert. Once I arrived at home and really looked at my nails they looked like a circus tent top. I was not satisfied and called on Sunday 3/21/22 to inquire about a color change. I was told I would have to pay full price for a new set. I was told that Triche confirmed I picked the color. The problem I have with this situation if you are rendering a service and the customer is not happy you should not be so prideful and offer to redo the customer nails. I'm sure the jar of powder dip is not $60.00 dollars and you will definitely make it back. With this being said a new nail salon will be in my near future. I decided to come into this spa after choosing to cancel a hair appointment that did not have a mandatory mask policy. I walked into Chic Nails Spa and was asked to sanitize my hands and wear a mask. Everyone was wearing a mask except for one patron, and someone who worked here politely asked her to put her mask on. I was able to sit down for a walk-in pedicure in minutes. On top of of the wonderful services I received, I felt safe, relaxed, and comfortable here. I'll definitely be coming back. read more

They are new. I think some of what I'm going to say in my review will reflect this. Overall clean, lots of cute polish colors, and very friendly service. The ambiance is lacking some. Very plain Jane looking. Also, time is an issue. I'm use to going to nail salons and having them work on my pedicure and my nails at the same time. Not here. It was pedicure first, then nails. Making it take much longer than it needed to. They offer free drinks and snacks (I assume the snacks is because they are new) but it's basic drinks. Not a wine or anything. Just water and soda. I've gone to nearby salons that offer mild alcoholic beverages and I prefer that. So for a new place it's ok. I got a 20% discount so I can't complain. But I think they need to step up their game a little with wine and with doing 2 things at once to stay competitive. I'll probably be back in a couple of months to see if anything has changed. I'm gonna go back to my regular nail salon for a bit until they get their feet wet a little more. I will update my review at that time. In the meantime, it's worth a shot. read more

I've been looking for a new nail salon. This place is closer to my mom's house than mine but I'll travel if necessary. I usually get a pedicure and a manicure with dip powder. I'd been having trouble with my nails (coating and actual nails sometimes) cracking fairly quickly after service, but I've not had any cracked or broken nails the times I've gone here. I do like all of the the options they offer for pedicures (but I do have a $$ limit). The staff has always been friendly.
