I ended up getting eight, yes eight, different flavors of sour belt candy from a brand I hadn't seen anywhere else and they were PHENOMENAL. They also have a small little restaurant in there and a good selection of hot foods and trinkets for sale. Their drink selection is also massive, from fountain drinks and ICEEs, to the what seemed like endless amount of refrigerated drinks. I know where I'm going for diabetes anytime I'm in town.

So I used my remote app which allowed me to put in my payment and then I put in my pump number, #3 and it was cancelled and said "see Attendant". So I walked in and asks what was going on with the cancelled Shell Rewards multiple cancellations? The blonde female lady at the register bluntly told me " I didn't do it, its not my problem". She asked me what do I need? I told her a full tank of gas, which she replied you can do that here, do you want $10-$20? I told her that I would prefer a full tank as I am going out of town in the morning. She shrugged and said she can only give me the amount I pay. I told her to never mind and I went to the one just 1.2 miles up the road. No problems there. I'd be less irritated if she had been at least sympathetic and not tell me its not her problem. A rep called me from the Office and denied my claim saying they had thousands of cars a day get gas there, which in itself is impossible. The staff seem to really enjoy their job and always give a friendly greeting at checkout. My list is simple candied nuts and the BBQ sandwiches. My go to is the XXL Brisket Sandwich. This is the equivalent of having two sandwiches on one bun. The brisket is very flavorful with a sauce that is slightly sweet but missing any spice. The meat is tender without a lot of fat chopped into the lean beef. If you are on the road or lucky enough to live near a store, stop and enjoy.

The young lady who checked us out today was very sweet and helped us with the discount coupons we missed. There's constant sales like buy one, get one half off on various items around the store. You have to use your Walgreens card to get this or punch in your associated phone number at the debit card machine at checkout to get the discounts. The store could use some cleaning because the floors always look dingy. Don't be surprised if you see a random trash can or warning floor is wet sign in an aisle. Even when the floor is obviously bone dry....and the floor still looks like it hasn't seen a broom in years. If you have kids that play Pokémon and come to this location, the Lakemont marker in front is a Poké stop.

We bought a few other things for my mother in law as well. When leaving my wife asked if I had any cash to tip the curbside kids at HEB. I asked the cashier at Walgreens to change a $10.00 bill. I was shocked when she said "you have to buy something". I said, "I did, I just left the pharmacy". She said "you have to buy something else". PLease Walgreen, be better than that. I'm a good customer and have all of my wife's and my own prescriptions filled at Walgreens also. If that's a store policy you need to change the poilcy. It reminded me of a Seinfeld episode where George had to buy candy and a magazine so the store he was at would give him change for a $20.00. Had I bought nothing I could understand it but I had just made a purchase. You suck Walgreens and the first opportunity I have to never come back will be too soon.
