Oh. My. God. I will…read moreadmit that I am a candy fiend, so walking into this convenience store was like dying and waking up in heavens. They have aisle after aisle of snacks, sweets and treats. I ended up getting eight, yes eight, different flavors of sour belt candy from a brand I hadn't seen anywhere else and they were PHENOMENAL. They also have a small little restaurant in there and a good selection of hot foods and trinkets for sale. Their drink selection is also massive, from fountain drinks and ICEEs, to the what seemed like endless amount of refrigerated drinks. I know where I'm going for diabetes anytime I'm in town.

the Shell at 603 Plantation in Pecan Grove I have used for 10 years. Today I drove up, put in my…read moreShell Gas Rewards and go to the point to add my PIN and got cancelled three times. So I used my remote app which allowed me to put in my payment and then I put in my pump number, #3 and it was cancelled and said "see Attendant". So I walked in and asks what was going on with the cancelled Shell Rewards multiple cancellations? The blonde female lady at the register bluntly told me " I didn't do it, its not my problem". She asked me what do I need? I told her a full tank of gas, which she replied you can do that here, do you want $10-$20? I told her that I would prefer a full tank as I am going out of town in the morning. She shrugged and said she can only give me the amount I pay. I told her to never mind and I went to the one just 1.2 miles up the road. No problems there. I'd be less irritated if she had been at least sympathetic and not tell me its not her problem. Service oriented, not at all...

The Good: I drove almost an hour to get to Rudy's before I…read morechecked what time the store closed, so I ended up getting there literally 5 minutes, maybe even less than that, before they closed BUT the cashiers were very kind & let me look around, buy some scratch offs, etc. & didn't make me rush & assured me that they didn't mind, which was very kind of them, especially when they easily could've just kicked me out & drive a very long way back upset, knowing my mistake (not checking the time) wasted two hours of my life & no scratch off's lol The Bad: BUT, although they were great cashiers/employees & super kind, I feel like I gotta share some pretty significant things here that (at least in my opinion) should be shared... As nice as they were, the staff literally knew NOTHING about the stores history (which is literally covering the walls, like cool news articles framed, winning tickets, & just the basic things that make the "#1 lottery ticket selling" store in Texas lol), and even less about scratch offs they sell or scratch offs in general... which was very frustrating & confusing lol like why would they want to work their over other places exactly the same (minus the history) & more importantly, why would the store hire someone who doesn't have any knowledge about the store's history and literal namesake/what the place is known for & what the walls (inside AND outside) are COVERED in? Idk, that disappointed me as a scratch off enthusiast who traveled all the way there because of the history & lore haha Other than that (pretty reasonable I think lol) complaint, the store was very clean, cool ambiance (at least at night from an outside viewpoint & they walls with old news articles about all the winning tickets bought there & the rows of all winning tickets people had purchased there lol), & even they even had their own souvenirs, which I thought was pretty cool!

This is a convenience store, it is a winning convenience store. If you are looking for this store…read moreand pass it up, you are driving with your eyes closed. It is covered wall to wall up and down on the outside with the same lottery sign. There is a reason for that...there are a lot of big winners coming from here whether it be scratch off or your picked numbers. You will find your standard soda's, chips, lottery of course, beer, cig's you name it, it's there for you, high price and everything. Don't like the prices? Go down to the Walmart thats probably a dozen or two miles down the road. Parking is good for about 10 cars but in and out is quick here.
